  1. Awesome move. He's not a #1 but possibly the best backup available for our offense.
  2. I disagree, you have a 13-3 team with a QB. Sell out and win a SB, its all about the SB. You want to be a bridesmaid not a bride? Yeah right. NFL is not structured for dynasties, IMO get what you need and win the big one. Trade the #1 pick for Mack and restructure his contract to make it fit. Tomorrow is not the day to live today is.
  3. Buffalo's early 90s team ended in cap hell. Then we have been through the cash to cap years under Wilson, just didn't have the money to throw around. Then you have the fact Buffalo was a non playoff team for 17 years, which meant if you got a good FA you had to overpay and it rarely equaled wins on the field. Most Bills fans see it as fools gold because throughout the entire FA Era we have rarely been a winner. I do think with this team/management it will be different. Personally I think when you have a QB and a good team nucleus, you go get them help and sort the chips later. Just my thoughts.
  4. When you fly you should wear a mask, their business their rules, not saying I like it but if you don't like it don't use their business. I must say though it is extremely frustrating to follow the rules and have people on a plane with a mask around their chin eating/drinking and basically ignoring the rules with not a word said.
  5. I love how people hate on Edmunds. He is much better than what everyone thinks. No he isn't Ray Lewis, admittedly Devin White is better than him already. So I get it he isn't the best MLB in the league, but he is above average with room to grow. I wouldn't kick him off for a guy that has showed no desire to play ball since he got paid, the Ravens let him walk for a reason. Mosley was also constantly hurt in college as well, his run with the Ravena was the only time he didn't have constant injuries.
  6. I'm not a huge fan of Watsons attempt to force his way out after signing a long term deal so recently. This situation though? Hard to believe. I suppose anyone can make a horrendous mistake, it doesn't say what he did. The idea that the Texans have something to do with this lawsuit seems silly. It greatly gums up any compensation they could get and would essentially make the owner lose the team (literally, like he can't be an nfl owner anymore) so that seems unfathomable. At least I hope that's not what happened. With all that said Watson always seemed like a stand up community guy, if he's guilty of this I would be shocked.
  7. Watson to the Patriots would be horrible news.
  8. 12.5M for Taylor? Seems steep, but I suppose they know the OL is horrible and they need someone mobile.
  9. Definitely wouldn't mind bringing Mack to his rightful spot in Buffalo. To help out with their cap space of course.
  10. If I'm truly interested in a player I would always make it difficult on the other team if possible. Nothing personal against them
  11. I would float the 2nd rounder out there. Tonyan is a very good TE, if nothing else force GB to match the offer and put them in a bad position cap wise.
  12. With Cam under center it won't matter, he doesn't have e the deep ball anymore. If they get a better QB? Yeah I would say it's an issue. They have set their team up like an old school BB team. Good defense and short yardage players set up for a game manager QB.
  13. Well I fully believe you can bank on them trading whatever is necessary to get a rookie signal caller on day 1 of the draft. Not going to pretend to know the target. Cam is their FA signing but they are not riding it all on him, they have a rookie in their sights.
  14. Unless they pull off a trade on draft day for a real QB, none of it matters. Makes them a tough team but not a real threat.
  15. Yes, I would definitely sign him to a cheap deal, bring him to camp and see what he has in Dabolls scheme. We are talking about a WR 4/5, not like we are talking about an every down player here. If he isn't what you thought you can cut him for next to nothing. Guy is talented, not sure why anyone would be opposed to that.
  16. I would do it for a cheap prove it deal. You can't count on him obviously, but if you can take a cheap chance why not.
  17. I really hate that somehow a players career is stained because he didn't do something some analyst hack thought he could do. Players can't be held responsible for where they are drafted, they don't control that. If they were an above average NFL player at their position that's all that should matter.
  18. Seems the Bills are content with going to the Draft unless one of these guys takes a very friendly deal.
  19. Can't really understand this, Lawson got 15M/AAV and they let him walk to pay the same to this guy? Unless Lawson just wanted out and wasn't entertaining offers from the Bengals.
  20. Lawson would have been great to have, 3yr/45M with 66% guaranteed is a bit much though.
  21. Thoroughly impressed. Really freeing up the draft to take BPA by all means. I still think it will be a physical interior offensive lineman unless some top CB or Edge rusher slips to us.
  22. Shocked he was signed but definitely pleased. Thought he was as good as gone.
  23. Possibly, DE franchise tender is 17.xxM and they have 12.6M available. Not saying they won't but they will be completely dead in FA if they make that move. Not sure they are in a situation to go "all in" on one player. If he's available I'd definitely try though.
  24. I'm curious to see this Free Agency kick off. We are putting old value contracts in our heads, fact is no teams have much money. They are not going to be eager to give up 12m+ contracts to just anyone. You also have to remember with all the veteran cuts for salary dumps the market will be somewhat saturated. Supply and demand, like I said, I'm just curious to see how this shakes out.
  25. Eagles are in salary cap trouble, this equates to a salary dump so unless a bid war starts the compensation will be low. If you could get him for a late round pick on the understanding he takes a pay cut sure. But that's alot to ask of a player, only thing I will say is the Bills are a good team so more likely to happen for us than a team that hasn't proven they can win.
