  1. Did KC really get better? I know they lost some OL and they were declining and it was smart moves by them, but they still haven't replaced them. Maybe I'm wrong.
  2. Amazing how many of the guys on that list ended up at Alabama. Even Dee Hart was there, although injuries did him no favors in college.
  3. First guy I thought of was John McCargo....what a nightmare. He was #26 though.
  4. No clue about how they got there, but when you have 100's of millions and you want to take a "risk" for financial gain, it's usually a large up front number (so the ROI is "worth" your effort) so I can see how mistakes can be amplified. With that said, I can't feel bad forcthem lol. But I do understand how it could go south on a few bad decisions.
  5. It's football, if he seems genuine on the wanting to live right and you can get him cheap so if he makes a mistake(or simply can't play) it's an easy out, why not? You don't guarantee anything though lol.
  6. Before we get started, I'm not a resident of Buffalo and the few games I catch in Buffalo tickets prices don't greatly effect me. Is it worth it to you guys to take on the extra taxes and increased prices for the stadium? Or is it pretty much the NFL wants something done so you may as well go all out if you have to go halfway at a minimum? Again I have no dog in the fight so my opinion really doesn't matter, I'm just curious. I live in South Alabama so the taxes in Buffalo will definitely not effect me lol.
  7. Have his number? Probably. Call him to just mess with him? Probably not.
  8. Who doesnt sleep butt naked...see now IM confused...
  9. I want them to have a QB that is trash, his name is irrelevant.
  10. Also gave up a player to get to 12, but all that aside, I would like to say you are correct but you can't win without one in this league now. You can have a near perfect team without a QB and never win the big one, or have a average to above average team with a QB and win it. So what's too much.
  11. No different than Bitcoin I suppose, I've made some money on Bitcoin but I don't claim to understand it 100%. Wish I would have held onto some bitcoin considering I used to by it for 5k and now it sells for what 55k? Something like that, haven't kept up with the market too closely.
  12. You could be completely right with the comment, but I do find it funny how everyone is quick to declare players subpar when most don't watch the all-22 or have a clue what the concept of the plays are and still feel they have enough evidence to judge a player honestly.
  13. He probably won't go top 20, I'm not sure if he's good enough for what they want honestly. I know he played well last year in college and size wise is excellent. But I won't pretend I know if he's the right pick or not. I do think a lineman or a CB should be the pick.
  14. Just makes me wonder if Barmore is in play at 30, assuming he makes it to 30.
  15. I'm not against it, not sure player safety is in their best interests. Of course I'll watch it and most likely enjoy it. Players will just use it to get more $, which they should. The borderline players trying to make a 53 man roster in preseason will be the most likely loses I suppose. Probably won't be that bad though.
  16. Houston can't get much for him right now, maybe nothing later. Their only play Is to ride it out and hope he is returned to favorable status with the public/nfl. If they were hesitant when his value was astronomical I can't see them jumping on a discount deal unless they know it's going further south.
  17. For the record I don't think any player would say they opted out because their value was high. But if he couldn't play ball because he was concerned for his health but his twitter/facebook/tiktok etc has him at large gatherings for recreational fun, its safe to say the health concerns were not the actual reason he sat out. In short, he's a liar.
  18. Without reading every response I'll just give my take if I was a GM (I'm not btw). I would want the reason why, if I felt the guy had a great sophomore year and sat because he could and felt his value couldn't get any higher, to me that's a red flag. He is a "me" guy and doesn't love the sport. If he had legit health reasons, concerns about not being able to see his family for a season and those reasons sound valid and genuine, you can't punish him for that. Also don't think these opt out guys won't have there social media investigated, if you opted out of football but was at party's and clubs it's a bad look. Case by case though imo.
  19. To sign with the Ravens and take 6M for 1 year means his market was pure trash, as it should be.
  20. I thought the initial trade with the 49ers was a good deal, but the move back to 6 was eh. Of course it's the draft, if they get a hall of fame at 6 while picking up a 3rd and a future 1st you look back and call them geniuses. The outcome dictates how it's remembered.
  21. At 8.3 a year that's not a bad price. He is still effects but who knows, he may have been comfortable with the Seahawks.
  22. I would pin it on the scheme over Jackson himself. Roman has always run that type of offense. Wouldn't expect it to change, not going to say Jackson can't run anything else. If I were them I would move on from Roman and find out though.
  23. I trust the new regime enough I'm confident it won't be an Aaron Maybin type of night. I was sitting in a bar in Pittsburgh when they did that idiocracy, not a single person thought that would work out lol. That's what I'm grateful for.
