Yes they should, Edmunds is an above average player. They should try to work out a long term deal before he actually plays on that deal that is more friendly to the team. 12M (or 17M) for one year is too much for him. But getting him under a long term deal should be a big priority, not Josh Allen big but you know.

Belichick* drafts Mac Jones
Southern_Bills replied to Arm of Harm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mac Jones might be good, never spectacular but effective. I honestly don't think they have the roster for him to work early they will have to build around him. -
Really wish they would take a chance on Dylan Moses if they get the opportunity. Was always a good player.

I'd be lying if I had an honest reaction, don't know enough about him. -

Funny all the perennial bad teams are jumping up and down the boards. The winning teams haven't moved. -
Are sports’ drafts fair to the players?
Southern_Bills replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This, it's designed to protect the competitive nature of the league. It's unfortunate so many teams are bad at picking the player that best fits their system, ruining some players chances regardless of talent. That's the breaks though. -
Justin Fields confirms epilepsy rumor
Southern_Bills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He won't be hurt by it, we are just learning it but I'm sure all teams have known. Smart of him to acknowledge it to make the media fluff up about it a non story. This just in Mac Jones has average hand size compared to NFL QBs! Will it be enough!? Anything is a story right now. -
Ro-ro for "Right Josh" Rosen
Southern_Bills replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought Rosen would be good, I thought Allen was the right pick for the Bills with his Arm and size. I was wrong about Rosen being a "Great" QB though lol -
Who are the 49er's going to take at 3
Southern_Bills replied to wagne591's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lance IMO. Better athlete than Fields and certainly Mac. I don't think they spent all that capital for Pitts, great player but to be worth that much in the 49ers offense you have to be able to block. With that said I'd still love to have Pitts so don't take it as a dig on him. -
Why can't Brandon Beane get the defense right?
Southern_Bills replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly, you can't blame Beane and pretend McD has zero to do with picking his defensive personnel. Honestly though they aren't as bad as everyone makes out. Need a really good playmaker of course, but who doesnt. -
Allen's availability vs covid vaccine
Southern_Bills replied to Pitch left's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hopefully he does what is best for him, NFLPA would and probably will, prevent any mandatory vaccinations of their members. -
While I don't agree with it, it is their right. If it's New York government doing it, that's not exactly right. Especially with the issues coming up about the vaccine. Honestly though if a private business does something you dislike show them with your wallet, it's the only recourse. I would think HIPAA would actually prevent these rules from being legal, and that may prove true at a later date.

Allen seems to be wired "me vs. The world" which is great. I love it. I feel the same way and it's the only way to be, corporate or playing field that's the mentality you need. Maybe your right, but somehow I feel any game he loses in the playoffs will stick with him, as it should. That's a good thing in case your wondering.

I get the "you can't blame one play/call theory" it's always the truth. Though saying a completely botched officiating job throughout the entire game (that went to OT) did not have a culminating effect on the outcome of a 3 point game is a bit rich. Hard to imagine how you could even think that is remotely true. If your just saying, no excuses move on but yeah they probably got screwed a little, I can at least understand that.

So you admit the NFL strayed from standard operating procedure to take something away from Buffalo? Best quality in an officiating body is consistency, which by your own admission they blatantly strayed from. I'm sure every helmet to helmet hit, low hit on a QB etc. Isn't intentional but the rules are the rules. Call it by the book and officiating is easy.
