OT: Are you concerned about Mac Jones?
Southern_Bills replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jones will be a good starter in the NFL with potential to be more. Who knows if he becomes the more, I feel they drafted him for his high floor not so much his high ceiling if that makes sense. -
You are the self appointed fun police? No one is making you go are they? Let people be, if they want to go whats the big deal, let them have their harmless fun.

Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
Southern_Bills replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
I for one think that McD/Beane should field an entire team of all-pros. Anything less is unacceptable. System guys who know the playbook and play well within the scheme? Pfft who needs it. I'm sure there are at least 15 other MLBs better than Edmunds sitting around on FA list eating cheetos. Sarcasm obviously 🙄. A great team doesn't have to have great players at all positions, and deep down the complainers know you can't upgrade Edmunds without using draft capital or a ton of cap space. -
Allegedly...

Who has been our best player so far?
Southern_Bills replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Struggling with health vs Struggling with play is different. Risking a player when it isn't necessary and he needs rest is not smart. Edmunds is not Ray Lewis but you could do alot worse. -

Probably more to do with the score than his health. Why risk a player struggling when the game isn't close. -
Tua bruised ribs (update: fractured, headed to IR)
Southern_Bills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brissett played better than Tua, hands down. Also, what kind of QB can't play with a bruised rib? If that's all it takes you better get a really good back up. Tua will fail in the NFL, as an Alabama fan that's unfortunate, but when a division rival drafts a Bama player they are dead to me 😂 -
Actually, I hope he doesn't have to be as good as last year. If he is great, he has to better than the first 2 weeks sure, but with a running game and defense he doesn't have to be superman. Plenty of offenses struggle early, it's no indication they will snap out of it this year bit I just wouldn't over react. Also, JP was never on Allen's level athletically imo.

It's week 2, team is 1-1 and even not at full speed still the best team in the division. Calm down, it's a long year. Turn on some tape of JP Losman then send Allen a thank you note.

DeMarcus Lawrence DE Broken Foot
Southern_Bills replied to CowgirlsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing like seeing the cowgirls in desperation mode. Dak may want to get hurt again before they realize he doesn't win games very well. -
So we all agree they missed a ton of opportunities? Nothing newsworthy here, we should have won but didn't execute. The Tre interception call back was probably the only down right horrible call. Hey win some you lose some, hopefully it lights a fire early for the team.

Highmark Stadium now requiring vaccination for entry
Southern_Bills replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think it's absolute on the timeline but the general accepted "natural immunity" period is 90 days. I'm sure each individual is different but they come up with that number somewhere, possibly a study and took the mean idk. -
"Bills and Titans are Frauds"
Southern_Bills replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't get too worked up over what a guy trying to generate ratings says. He could be right for all we know, but he definitely has no data to back this up. The fact we got beat nearly a carbon copy of the AFCCG is the only scary part. The staff has to get a plan B for these type of games. -
Our Solution for the Offense....Josh Gordon
Southern_Bills replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Eh, giving Josh time to use the wideouts he has is probably a better solution. -
Highmark Stadium now requiring vaccination for entry
Southern_Bills replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems you should be able to get a refund if the rules were changed after purchase. Not saying you can but they should make that available, if they have plenty of ticket buyers lined up I don't see where it hurts the team. I get why they did it, it's the easy button for the organization. Trying to keep up with 2 sets of rules for 2 sets of people in a packed stadium is impossible. I don't like the rule but like I said I see why it came to be. Everyone will be vaccinated soon enough anyways, that I'm sure of. -
Four plays that made the difference
Southern_Bills replied to Xwnyer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way more than 4 plays, but on a positive our defense played well. The offense and special teams lost this one. Wallace looked bad a few times though. -
Wideouts are fine. Steelers had a great defensive game plan and the Bills (I guess Daboll mainly) was very arrogant and hard headed calling plays trying to force his way knowing they game planned for it. Probably should have mixed it up more, looked like the AFCCG without the explosive offense of KC.

I would say alcohol in the general public is the common denominator, or just people who go to night clubs in general, regardless of Genre.

Changing up how I watch the Bills game
Southern_Bills replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can drink less now that they are a better team. During the drought I knew if I drank over 18 beers I could convince myself it was definitely the Refs fault we lost, not the lack of talent. 🤣 -
In your opinion, what’s the hardest position?
Southern_Bills replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, calling out line protections pre snap to pick up the blitz, reading the coverage that D coordinators spend days disguising. Leading guys like Tre with their eyes to open an extra 6 inches of room to put the ball in. Audibles....yeah they just hand the ball off, crazy I didn't see that.
