Annual Way Too Early Mock Draft '22 edition
Southern_Bills replied to thunderingsquid's topic in College Football
I believe he will go first round or be one of the guys that someone trades to the top 2 or 3 spots of the second round to go get. -
Annual Way Too Early Mock Draft '22 edition
Southern_Bills replied to thunderingsquid's topic in College Football
Not sure why everyone is so high on Davis. He has no stamina, I don't see him making an impact at the pro level, he can only go for 2 plays in college before a breather. Battle is an excellent player, he was originally supposed to go to Ohio State when he first got to college. -
Leslie Frazier's interview Monday 12/13
Southern_Bills replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
They held Tampa to 27 in regulation, they held the Patriots to 14. Score more points, the Diggs 3 and 2 play should have been a game winner. I get it, they are losing and it sucks. That doesn't mean burn down the building and start over. Daboll would go way before Frasier. -
Change Pass Interference to 15 yd penalty (edited title)
Southern_Bills replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn't want to see it, in college players/coaches use it as an advantage. Your beat? Grab him. I see the point, but I would hate to change a good rule because the refs have somehow forgot how to call it. -
Doing it now proves what? He had the murder situation, he was acquitted regardless of public opinion. Did time for armed robbery/false imprisonment. (Actual charges he was convicted of may be worded differently) During all that and writing books on "if he killed nicole" this is the way he would have done it. Yet he was never removed, now they would remove him years later? Makes no sense to me, if everyone was so upset they should have acted when things actually happened.

If the Bills re-sign Edmunds, they're stupid.
Southern_Bills replied to damj's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is definitely not good enough, I usually defend him but he misses way too many plays. Not sure we can get better than him week 1 next year, but you have to move on because he isn't going to cut it. If he reads the play correctly he still gets out played physically. Which speaks volumes to his ceiling. -
Week 14 Gameday Bills at Buccaneers Postgame thread
Southern_Bills replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
More people will tune in to hopefully see a hated rival lose than to watch all the time if everyone is getting equal wins. Bears fans will 100% turn on a GB game just to see Aaron Rodgers lose. -
An Outsiders opinion of Bucs V Bills
Southern_Bills replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills made it a game late, few plays decided It as always. The running game has to be fixed to a mediocre level for sure, may just be play calling who knows. Definitely feel the Bills couldn't get a PI and the Bucs got them easy, though in all honesty I was fine with all of them standing as no calls as nothing was egregious. -
Primary Cause of Bills losing to Patriots/Colts/Titans/Steelers
Southern_Bills replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's honestly hard to say, Coaching could have been better in every loss obviously. Pats game was the most recent, so we will go there. Defense played well enough but I felt we should have thrown more early. Though, at the same time if Diggs catches that TD or Knox catches that first down that was in his hands/chest we are talking about a different outcome and how our team is tough and grunted out a victory. Everything is magnified by wins and losses, lose and the negative seems huge, win and the positive seems huge. If the Patriots lose BB would have been lambasted for not letting Mac Jones have a chance to try, instead he won and he's a genius. Go figure. -
It's not so much the Bills are dropping key games, which is a big deal. But the bigger deal is we just have no consistency at all. It's football and a talented team can hit a stride at any moment, so the sky is not falling. Not much confidence inspiring football going on in Buffalo right now though.

MYTH Busted: "The Defense couldn't stop the Run"
Southern_Bills replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Completely agree, the one 64 yard TD was a killer, but overall they did well. Offense has to get more than 10, Defense did their job. -

I can follow that, not sure I would count him out for tonight, but I at least see what your saying -
OK, armchair analysts: How do we fix this offense?
Southern_Bills replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in The Stadium Wall
With Allen at QB1 I agree, Jones was obviously limited, but Allen could have played semi normal. -

Snow game vs. 35+ MPH winds are totally different. Bass should not feel bad tonight -
Whatever, if the players make the plays they win. The coaches can't make the plays, they were there to be had.

Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
Southern_Bills replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
I won't call it a mistake, but obviously he will take less or move on next year. Replacing a guy sounds great unless your the guy finding the new guy. Edmunds is not good enough, but he's better than alot if other options, sadly. -
12/6/21 Gameday Thread Bills vs. Pats* 2nd Half Thread
Southern_Bills replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually agree, though to say it isn't a first down (which they did) and to say he wasn't hit late is a conflict in interest. You understand? -

Southern_Bills replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not really, the timing of penalties is far more important than the amount. The PF on Allen they either had to give him the first down or the penalty, you can't say he is out of bounds but it is ok to hit him. Though I do agree, you have to be better than the calls. We were not. -
12/6/21 Gameday Thread Bills vs. Pats* 2nd Half Thread
Southern_Bills replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Plenty of mistakes to go around, I'm disgusted. Between the officiating and the lack of our guys making plays in key moments. We could have won even though it was the perfect game for us to lose. -

You are not wrong, though you can't deny the bias. I do agree though, be better than the bad calls, we were not. -
