If Tua attempted it Ramsey would have a pick, that's why he gave up the ground he did to Diggs, he didn't think a QB could make that throw.

IDK, he probably isn't ready to playoff time, if he can hook with a contender to prove he can play before next year's FA period he may come cheaper than some think. Sitting out the entire year puts him in a likely situation of teams still wanting a prove it deal. It will be an odd situation for sure, a GM will have to get creative with compensation to make it work for both sides.

If he is fooled right now pre-snap, they better pray he never figures it out.

I think it's credited to the fact anyone around football (fan/coach/player) will tell you right out that without a QB you are wasting time. Also from high school forward coaches encourage their QBs to be the leader of the team, even above being "one of the guys".

I see big teams like Bama, OSU, UGA etc taking the freedom to schedule some tough/profitable/entertaining games knowing even if they lose they still make the top 12.

I hate it, well kind of, I will enjoy the extra football. I'm just wondering when we will just separate the teams from the schools. Student-athlete is a dated term, I'm all for the guys getting paid considering the situation they are in. At some point though you have to admit you are a for profit semi pro league that has nothing to do with higher education. College football pageantry is destroyed, and with conference realignment it will only get worse. Bowl games were already meaningless, now with this expansion they may as well end them. I do think they are putting the best "football" product first with this move, as well as paying the players. It isn't the best moves for preserving college football tradition though. I'll stop my rant now 🤣

Yes, completely trash the guys doing the team building because they didn't sign "insert washed up veteran" and are going with what they see in front if them, and of course Tre back by week 5-8. Why trust the only GM/HC that has brought a winner to WNY in some time. Take it easy.

If that's the case fire the whole defense, besides maybe what 4? Von, Elam, and the DL we added. Though I do agree, don't overpay an aging safety to "send a message". If he plays lights out again this year, work out a 2 year deal or something. If not, draft someone. All players know you are only as good as your last play, none of them are shocked to hear it, they live by it.

I can tell you there are many jobs that will let you go over legal situations before you are convicted. Surprising it isn't the commissioners list or something of that, but I guess they wanted the situation away from the team.

I think if it drags on, maybe. 3 weeks before the season starts? Not so much. If it gets to week 8 and thinks are still looking bad, yeah hit the button. Until then it's just playing into form like every NFL team does every year.

I agree, and sadly the way they handle these things, and it seems to be status quo for sports programs, if the accused is innocent it actually hurts him. I'm not claiming anyone is innocent or guilty, I'm just saying the suppression of the truth which happens in these events does a wrongly accused man just as few favors as anyone else.

Thanks again for all the suggestions, it seriously helps. As I'm not very touristy liking as I live in a touristy town (beaches in alabama) so that gets old quick. You guys have helped a ton and I'll take as many tips/insight as I can get.
