Week 8: SNF Packers at Bills (-10.5) 10/30 8:20pm
Southern_Bills replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed, but the line has way more to do with how the Packers are playing. The Bills are who they thought they were, the Packers are not. -
Best way to stop a pass rush is hit 2 long TDs against it. He seemed to call them off when Josh and company found a way to beat it.

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are worth infinite draft capital.
Southern_Bills replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well they had both of those guys in the building at the same time, completely different. Also, they didn't trade Brees, he was a FA and there was questions if his elbow would allow him to play at a high level again, which is the only reason Miami didn't sign him. All that aside, put Sean Payton with Rivers and see what happens. Brees was great but he went to a great coach as well. -

He may not be Allen or Mahomes but he's better than most. "Franchise QBs" like Wilson get traded, not Herbert. -
Diggs vs. Chiefs/Spagnuolo Defense
Southern_Bills replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall
The biggest difference here is last time we played Gabe Davis had what 5 TDs? Kinda forces their hand at coming off Diggs some. Not sure Diggs will "Show out" but someone will. If they choose to take him away at all costs, it will cost them. -
I think Kansas City has great fans, some obnoxious but that happens when you win, those will leave when the wins do. Andy Reid is not a good human, above average/great football coach. All the crap with his kids, he knew his son was an issue and enabled him until he nearly killed a kid. His son should not have been in an NFL building unless he bought a ticket. Mahomes has never did anything besides throwing his OL under the bus after the SB loss, which cost them all their job. I have a feeling he isn't a good person and if he ever starts losing it will show, but I have no concrete evidence of this. So no, I don't hate them but I wouldn't say I like them either.

I never understood the coaches that could be very comfortable doing well at mid level schools but risk it all for an NFL job.

Not sure we need a 5th quarter to determine this game is trash.

I was unaware of that information, but I can see where it went unnoticed. I still remember Jordy Nelson tearing his ACL in preseason and walking off like nothing happened, same for Carson Wentz years later, even ran a TD in after the injury. If they knew, which I doubt, that's bad. The Tua thing was a week long commitment to a lie.

Boomer Esiason suggests the Bills should trade for Barkley
Southern_Bills replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like it in theory, but I think Singletary can be better than he shows, we just simply don't use him alot. I know in the Miami game he was a top reciever, that's an outlier. If we used a RB more I would like it, as we are...nah. -
Today’s injury report is encouraging [snip]

If there was, it's over now. -
Very true, and I'm sure he didn't have to downsize his home because of the bad decision, but with that said... Regardless of wealth, no one likes making a bad financial decision.

Jerry loves to throw money away, could you imagine spending a 1/4 Billion dollars on Zeke and Dak? Jerry lives in that nightmare 🤣
-
They are 2-0 without Dak, not good for him.

Why exactly are we favored by 3.5 in Baltimore?
Southern_Bills replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are a good football team that had a bad day. Even though alot here are doom and gloom, Vegas and experts have not changed their view of us.- 163 replies

Chiefs..Bills…Chargers…who had the roughest loss
Southern_Bills replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chiefs imo. Mahomes was having words with the OC and had to be calmed down by the HC. Showing dysfunction on a team with so much continuity isn't good. At least the Bills lost as a team, it was a tough loss no doubt, but it isn't the end of the world. Just need to get healthy. -
It's not meaningless, but it doesn't take the opportunity for the teams goals away so I get what your saying. Kinda like the Titans game last year, didn't seem like a big deal until it came time for playoff seeding. So no loss can ever be seen as meaningless in the NFL.
