I fully agree with this. My question is, when will players start taking less overall money to get the contract fully guaranteed? I mean 215M fully guaranteed is better than 275M with 175M guaranteed IMO. Should be interesting to watch the battle unfold. I honestly with they would raise the vet minimum as those are the guys getting the shaft.

Unpopular opinion I'm sure but here goes. Ignoring the losses we took because that doesn't matter. The league rule says divert back to winning % which gives KC home field and the bye. They had to give up home field on a technicality, if they pushed they could have got both. Buffalo had a tragedy and they done the right thing by getting off the field and being with their teammate. That doesn't mean other people have to accommodate them though. It's a good life lesson, doing the right thing doesn't bring a parade, just shows your character. Actually it usually makes things harder, just as it has here. I know KC was a beneficiary of someone else's tragedy, but it's not their fault. Persevere and prevail to be the victor.

Sounds good, but in all honesty what could have the league done better in this situation as it pertains to player safety? Freak accident. No possible way to plan/prevent that and still call it tackle football. They have definitely looked bad this year, but this isn't one of the situations.

I'm sure that's what they want to do, but I don't see how. Timing isn't great, by forcing them to play it punishes them for the playoffs. 3 games in 14 days? And one will be a playoff game that is lose and go home? Seems a bit much unless they move the entire schedule back one week, which I don't see.

I don't have a son, just a daughter. But if I did, I would let him play flag football at a young age. When he got to junior high/high school and wanted to play I would probably let him. Wouldn't encourage it though. Baseball is a much better option.
