John, I try and forget everything from the drought, but remember the snow game with Moulds one handed catch and Ricky Ganga Williams ran for I think 230 yards, and we still won against the fish.

we’re going to win tomorrow and Dorsey needs to keep his calm to keep Allen calm.

    Ricky Williams was a beast.

  2. How many yards do you think he will gain ?

Do you think Frazier will change something to strongly limit him ? Or not, he’ll stay put with his nickel believing is still the best way ?

    Between 50 and 100

    Between 100 and 150

More than 150 (i don’t believe it honestly, it would be a nightmare)

    Make your prediction.

Not at all true - who do you think makes the call?  It’s not the analytics dept

He has the same 4th down data that other coaches do.  Some coaches simply refuse use the info for decisions.  Others consider it but default to arbitrary measures like “feel” or momentum.  I give him credit for embracing the philosophy.

On Sunday, I didn’t mind the call.  I probably would’ve kicked the FG but that only puts the team up for 2 scores and still leaves the door open for Minnesota to creep back.  A TD in that situation puts the game out of reach with a 3 score lead.

Plus, even if the Bills fail on 4th, Minnesota has the ball on the 7 and still have to drive all the way downfield.  The problem was the execution - Josh throws and INT which gets returned to the 40 giving Minnesota a short field.

Exactly; but who called the plays ? Dorsey ? If yes, why McD didn’t go against his OC’s strategy to throw every down, but RUN every down ??!!!

I never played football myself, but i know the game: you don’t have to be a genius to understand that in this situation you go to run every down, exactly because the worst scenario would has been Minnesota with the ball on their 7 yards with almost 90 seconds less on the clock.

    Unbelievable.

The heartbreaks mentioned in the OP are kind of a badge of honor thing for me.

And that's not the same as wanting them to be our identity as a fanbase - the "lovable loser" thing.  But collectively, we have been through the fire.  By comparison, any Pats fan under 30 is like a trust fund kid.  They're soft.  I feel like we can take anything, brush ourselves off and jump through another table.

I love being a Bills fan.

    No doubt about it

Soak it all in. Read other forums, read comments sections of other fans bashing the Bills and their players, listen to sports shows crushing the Bills' players and coaches etc.

Don't make the mistake of staying in a bubble as so many Bills fans do.

If you can get through all that. The way the teams fails you as a fan doesn't compare, and is no longer so important.

    Toughen up basically...

I’m sure i won’t never give up, just tired about the same outcomes.

But once a Bills, always a Bills, no matter what.

Question: will ever be an end to all this nightmares ?

Or maybe it’s just this franchise destiny ?

I root for the blue since 1989… honestly i’m sick that every time there’s something that go wrong with us. How can this be possible ?

Have i just to accept this ?

    "Marca giù" is not Italian...

    I'll say:

"Vinceremo tutte le partite che rimangono in stagione.

Finiremo con 14-3 ma non so se basterà per il primo seed.

Segnatevi pure quello che ho detto..."

Marca giù è esattamente come si dice qui e il resto è tradotto in modo naturale e non modalità dizionario 😉

  9. I feel you.. i’ve been like you for the Bills and the Knicks many many times… but at the end i never gave up.

Sport is always has been part of my life since i was 7 years old and will ever be.

It seems impossible that they can find new, ,devastating ways to lose, but here they are, crushing the souls of Bills fans decade after decade. We finally found a QB that is our only hope to winning a Super Bowl and he can't get of out his own way. These coaches, I mean THESE COACHES don't have a FREAKING CLUE how to finish a game! Allen will rebound as he always does but it is clear this team will NEVER win a Super Bowl with these idiot coaches.

I really feel bad for everyone who is a Bills fan, just another awful day as they slip even lower in the AFC...

I was thinking to post the exact same thread just 20 minutes ago, but i’m too tired to do that.

    Thank you for doing it.

  11. I know there’s already a OBJ Thread opened, i’m sorry for this new one, but maybe it’s in a different point of view, so i ask the Mods to not merge it if possibile. Thank you.

Undoubtedly OBJ has talent, lot of… if healthy he’s elite no doubt.

In the next 15 days he’ll sign his next contract and the Teams involved are:

    - Bills

    - Giants

    - Cowboys

    - Chiefs

    - 49ers

My point is that signing a player like OBJ not only increase the quality and power of the offense, but give you the intangibles that only great players with great “ego” have.

When you sign a player like OBJ you sign someone that teammates see like the ultimate piece to have a super team, that other teams see like the piece that can make that offense almost unstoppable, so the spirit go down.

Signing OBJ would be huge, more huge now that we have a real chance to get the job done after years and years of major defeats and mediocrity.

Please Beane, don’t miss this one, it’s our moment and we can’t let go this kind of opportunity.

I couldn’t tolerate another Major Defeat (SB), or a minor one maybe against a Team where OBJ is playing.

    I WANT OBJ HERE !!!!!!!

  12. Ok guys, believe me I’m not lying: the day after the Jets game i said (you can check it) that 17 would have been ready to play vs Minny.

    It seem i was right…

When you have a very serious injury you can’t throw a ball almost 70 yards and then stay in the game till the end just doing some movement with your arm and hand.

    I was 100% sure about it.   💪🏽😉

    1. I think the Bills can run decently and choose not to.

Devin’s high carry mark this year is 17, last year it was 23. He has with numerous games below 10 carries.

The Cook “trust” point is over rated, he has looked fast when given opportunity.

On Hines, I think he will be ok, nothing more. I expect 3 catches, 20 yards in a typical game. I don’t see him as a playmaker.

    2. Part of the throwing short is Gabe Davis is ineffective on anything other than go routes.

And because the Bills refuse to utilize Kahlil Shakir (or Jake Kumerow) then are stuck with little Isaiah McKenzie and we know they don’t trust him as much more than a bit player.

Knox could and should get more involved over the middle of the field, I don’t know why they don’t move him around more, other than he has to stay close to help a bad offensive line.

Bottom line for me is the Bills don’t utilize their full compliment of players. The pecking order is of course Diggs first, and too often, good players don’t see the ball enough. McKenzie has no package of plays like he did in the past, Knox is not used out of the backfield or over the middle, where are the Gabe Davis toe-tap routes to the sidelines on crossers?

Kahlil Shakir looked great against Pittsburgh and the Ravens and then disappeared back to the bench.

Dorsey has not been creative enough.

I totally agree with two of your points:

    - using more often Shakir that i see a very good player with chance to become top

    - using more Knox in the mid range middle of the field, like 5 to 8 yards deep.
