  1. From the 7.28 report http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=6284 "Lynch may have trumped Wright however, as he made a reception 40 yards downfield as Edwards deftly dropped a ball between a pair of defenders for a big gain." I guess we know that Edwards can get it downfield.
  2. McKelvin can have almost all the chances in preseason - McGee doesn't need many to be ready for the season.
  3. Plus there is plenty of big fishing in Florida. Parcells and Favre could go out every Monday morning.
  4. He lets his coaches coach. If Turk wants to play bombs away; I think Jauron lets him. If Turk wants to play dink and dunk; I think Jauron lets him.
  5. But he would probably be looking for a solid veteran. Sounds like an ideal location for Favre to end up.
  6. I said this in another thread - I'll say it here. Peters has a contract. Get in camp and then the FO will negotiate. If he is threatening to sit out the season then trade him now.

  8. Didn't they make people buy a preseason game?
  9. They could have waited another month or two until the Lions cut him.
  10. Thanks all. It must just be the WGR stream that was/is wacky. I am now listening to bulldog. Usually instead of the jim rome show they would stream a repeat of the morning show from 12 to 3. The last few days it was just the public service stuff. Yesterday the 3-6 was also public service but today it is ok.
  11. That was early in the conference - I wasn't fully listening in great detail but sounded like they first observed it then but didn't realize how young it was until now.
  12. What, no one else listening to GR over the internet?
  13. I have been using the link: http://38.116.147.101/wgr But now all I get is the Colin Cowherd show and before/after that public service announcents/commercials - no actual GR radio shows.
  14. When the Bills win the Super Bowl there will be the worst rioting known. Half of the city will be burned down. Additionally, at least another 10 cities will have riots from all of the ex-Buffalonians.

  16. He does a couple commercials, takes a few pictures for their print ads and gets a fat check. I'd take that gig too.
  17. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports...nt/5645519.html Coach Gary Kubiak insists the signing of free-agent quarterback Quinn Gray does not increase the likelihood of Sage Rosenfels being traded. Gray, who signed a one-year contract for $645,000 on Monday, becomes the third quarterback behind starter Matt Schaub and Rosenfels, the subject of trade speculation since the Texans turned down Minnesota's offer of a third-round draft choice this month. "I know what people are saying, but signing Quinn has absolutely nothing to do with it," Kubiak said about acquiring Gray to expedite a trade for Rosenfels. "I've been a two-quarterback type of guy, but what happened to us last season scared the heck out of me, and I don't want to go through that again."
  18. The only way it would make sense is if Detroit did not want to drop any further then 12th in the 1st round. Even if a team below the Bills was willing to give up more - if Detroit wanted to pick no lower then 12 then that would be a reason the trade could be made. What would the trade value be if the Bills gave up their 1st, 2nd & one of their 3rds?
  19. Though originally everyone was saying the Bills would get only a 3rd pick for him so I'd say Marv did pretty well.
  20. I'll respond (luckily no one cares what I say so it's still like no one is responding ) If Willis is traded; it will be to a team that needs a RB. The Bills will not be getting a RB back in return for him.
  21. "My family and I have made our home here and enjoy the hospitality of the city." Does that include all 3 of his babies and their mothers?
  22. Actually I can see the team having 3 home preseason games so they can use that 3rd one to make up for the 1 missing regular season game.
  23. It's going to happen at some point so might as well be now that the Bills are the home team. From the Buff News: "Every team in the league ultimately will get the chance to go abroad under a plan approved by league owners in October. The owners agreed to take up to two regular-season games a year outside the United States, with the possible sites limited at first to Mexico, Canada, England and Germany. There will be one this coming season, and Mexico and Canada were eliminated from consideration with Monday's announcement. New NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has pushed the idea, saying the benefits of reaching an international audience outweighed the negatives of some teams having to give up home games. The NFL intends to plan the games so that teams will rotate over a 16-year period, with each team playing outside the country twice over that span, once as a visitor, the other as a home team. That means a team would lose one home game during that span. "
