Agree. I'm interested to see if the Jets try to bully the softer Bills in the trenches. Smash mouth football sort of speak.

Additionally, that Jet secondary might be one of the best in the league. Diggs might be taken out of the game and what WR for Buffalo is reliable?

So Dallas throwing down 40 isn't impressive because the opponent is so bad? That's strange logic for thinking Green Bay is suddenly better, sorry. How much exactly do you think Green Bay would beat the Giants by?

Further I learned not to judge teams based upon common opponents in the nfl when I was about 12.  There are no scales that can accurately predict the outcome of Green Bay at NYG based off of Dallas at NYG nor Green Bay vs Dallas cause off both their outcomes against the Giants.

Yeah I don't think you understand my kind of logic. I'm talking about impression. That doesn't mean Green Bay is ready to beat Dallas...yet.  It's a point relating to play above expectations.

I had a $200 on bet on Ravens, Commanders and a few other parlays involving the same teams + Jaguars, Seahawks.

Things got way more nervy than I expected, but still a great day.

now nobody is saying we dont appreciate that you had a great day, but in the state of New York it's what they call a 'red board' if you dont say it BEFORE kickoff.

I don't remember saying the Giant's would be good, I think your saying they were a complete illusion last year and are going to be garbage was ridiculous. I'd say they're more likely average which probably does alright in the NFC.

Don't really get the hate-on for Brock Purdy guy seems solid, sure he plays in a great system but he also makes some great plays when things break down.

i'll be in the degenerate thread...you can laugh at me there when i'm wrong. lol

I hear ya...we all have opinions.  Im anti Purdy and anti Giants.  Im anti Jaguars...i'll take any points against them against anyone not named the Texans or the Colts...i know im just running at the mouth now, but just saying i have opinions.

I don't think Dilfer was better.  I haven't watched a ton of Purdy though.

you;ll see mr dink plenty.  Philly wouldnt have any of it...surprised they got past Dallas. They probably wouldnt make the same mistake but might not be around with McCarthy leading the charge.

I don't know if I agree with the perspective but with the kind of effort they put out I don't see why he should help them leave with their tail between their legs, instead of trying to go out with at least accomplishing something.

doesnt surprise me ...rolling your eyes thinking the Giants are good...get a haircut

Yeah that team is crazy good.  I don't think Purdy is elite but I think he is good enough that team can do damage.

Dilfer was better.  I know the 49ers o line isnt as good as Baltimores was that year.

Not saving his qb from a nightmare, staying in shotgun, going for it on 4th and 15 on their own 30 at this point in the game. I get it but don’t agree with it. Run the ball, eat clock, and get out of there. Just my opinion

and every classy coach's opinion in the history of the NFL...dont let these guys talk you out of it Dabboll is a jack...wagon off

Purdy has been dropping dimes and playing great ball since he’s been starting.  He’s not a problem. Just because they have a deep core of playmakers doesn’t mean they’re carrying him. They’re helping him become great.

the offensive line is down a notch, but shanahan is good enough to scheme around it as long as Trent is healthy.

and they added Javon Hargrove to line up in between Bosa and Armstead.  Drake Jackson is an ascending player.

    they’re legit.

I think they'll lose in the playoffs.  Im not saying they arent legitimately a good team.

Daboll definitely threw his team under the bus in the 4th. Insult to injury.

    no doubt...what a *****

Not sure I'd read all that and come away saying Pack win was most Impressive. Validation that their plan to go with J Love was smart, yes.

But most Impressive victory was 49ers, hands down.  Dominated a Steeler team that will be in the wild card hunt/ascending.  Not to mention, on the road (west coast to east coast 1pm game) and against a coach who historically gets his team super prepared for opening game.

Honorable mention/2nd place was Detroit.  But their offense didn't impress me.  Toney catches that last pass, or doesn't bobble a perfect throw that turned into a pick 6...and KC very likely wins.

Alright.  Ill be all over green bay hosting the Lions on the 28th and it's a complete coaching mismatch. A Rodge isnt there to get in his way.

    Whatever floats your boat

right...you watch how i do it.... sf has the worst rest schedule in the leauge, and dont think those skill position players dont know theyre carrying a qb...the offensive line is down a notch.

GB beating Chicago was the best win of the week?

    🤣

yes, best win as in most telling that the Pack are on track.  Lions doesnt impress me with Jones and Kelce out, the coach still takes enormous gambles.  49ers doesnt impress me , they did 49er like things ...Dallas isnt impressive the Giants arent in their leauge.... The Packers are a team that can be greatly improved over thier season last year. ...

Well, today we’ve seen three playoff teams from last year get blown out by division rivals, and two of them were favored…makes you wonder about tomorrow…

cant see it happening...they'll feel each other out like a playoff game before goosing it i'd think.

after week 1 Detroit has the best win of the week

I'm gonna say the Packers do.  I can see them and Atlanta making a playoff push.  I dont think Detroit makes it and Jacksonville will struggle to make it...just my 2 cents of thoughts
