  1. My thought is that many people are grossly overstating how bad the defense was last year. It was above average and our two top LBs were injured most of the season.
  2. You mean while his QB is freaking Kirk Cousins? No *****.
  3. CB should have been on there instead of WR. According to adjusted team DVOA (offense and defense) the Bills finished second. Their record was not a fluke. Given this is the same team with a few minor upgrades, there's no reason to expect a 6 or 7 seed in the AFC. 2021 schedule: Vs. MIA - W Vs. NE - W Vs. NYJ - W Vs. HOU - W Vs. IND - L (have to put Ls somewhere) Vs. ATL - W Vs. Car - W Vs. PIT - W @ JAX - W @ KC - L? I don't want to write this @ MIA - W @ NE - W @ NO - W @ NYJ - W @ TB - L @ TEN - W + Possible 17th game. Who else are they losing to here? NO with Jameis? Maybe one of MIA or NE. Maybe TEN if they don't need that last game. I think 3 losses is a good bet.
  4. Yeah, the "Diggs isn't fast" angle is one I truly don't understand. Sanders is still explosive off the line, and still fast. Not John Brown fast but though he excels against zone, he can still toast guys on man coverage. Beasley is extremely quick, perfect slot guy. We don't need a Tyreek Hill. I don't even think we need a TE after Hollister, who is basically Lee Smith+ (not as good a blocker, obviously, but still good at it and can do other things, too. I expect an improvement from Knox. My biggest want (and it isn't a need) on offense is a receiving back like James White, Aaron Jones or Alvin Kamara. And an upgrade at either guard position, while I'm at it.
  5. I would say he's probably done if he hadn't finished second for JJ Watt and is checking in on not insignificant FA Edge guys, like Adoree Jackson. Yeah, you check in on guys as your job, but why would you check in on guys you already know are out of your price range? I think we end up signing Richard Sherman once he accepts he's not getting what he thinks he should get, while drafting a CB pretty high up (who better to learn from than one of the smartest DBs to ever play the game). I'm not sure where we go with Edge but I don't think a top 3 team is pursuing JJ Watt and then, after losing out, saying "f it, let's give Addison a pay cut and call it a day" I wouldn't rule out a trade but they might be waiting for the Allen contract to settle so they have a concrete number to work around. Josh deserves to get paid but I do hope he takes a bit of a discount so we can continue to surround him with a good team.
  6. I kinda wish you started the post with "I'm sorry Ms. Jackson"
  7. You're totally right. Beasley, Diggs and Sanders all do exactly the same thing. We should have got a fast guy who sucks at running routes, like John Ross. I can't remember Diggs or Davis catching any deep passes.
  8. Not to be vulgar, but this video made me absolutely turgid.
  9. Holy underrated comment
  10. Sanders could be a sneaky good shiny toy, even if not expensive. Watch some videos of his route running, it's amazing. We probably have 3 of the top 5 route runners in the NFL.
  11. Epenesa was playing like 30 pounds lighter than he did in college. He basically had to completely change the way he played and improved as the season went on. Idk how anyone could realistically expect him to lose that much bulk and just come into the league as if he was used to playing that way.
  12. Hollister helps with the running game, too.
  13. Who on the Pats is putting up those numbers? Surely not Cam. His arm will fall off.
  14. Yeah really weird. I can't think of any massive extensions they have to take into account in the near future.
  15. FA isn't done, we don't need a superstar and the draft still hasn't happened. I'd also strongly argue that we just did improve pretty substantially at TE. Hollister is definitely not nothing.
  16. Yeah, you're probably right. I'm letting dislike for the guy colour my view of his talent. Him at 8 million is pretty decent.
  17. Yeah man, we needed so many upgrades on our 13-3 team that retained all of its key players
  18. Greg is great. You should check him out at Cover1. I'm less of a fan of Aaron Quinn but Greg really knows his *****, from players around the NFL, how they'd fit on the Bills and very intricate knowledge of the inner workings of the salary cap.
  19. Wait a sec A lot of people really wanted Dan Arnold. Hollister is just about as good as Arnold. I'm confused why people don't like this move. Ertz would've been nice, sure, but we didn't really need an elite TE. This is the tier of TE I wanted the Bills to sign. Wanna see the number but this is very nice on the surface. Knox isn't terrible. We don't need to completely replace him on offense.
  20. Juju's issue is that you put up with guys like OBJ or AB because they are extremely talented and the team decides the headache is worth what they produce on the field. Juju kinda sucks so when there are tons of WRs on the market who are just as good or better making a lot less than what you're asking...well, that plus the headache isn't even close to worth it. I understand why the Ravens offered that deal, but why would the Chiefs want Juju?
  21. Easy, he's an idiot with a big ego. Looking forward to his stupid TikTok dances.
  22. Sounds like your beef is with the American English vernacular.
  23. Do you understand how many total yards you're predicting Allen will throw? It's completely unrealistic. I love Josh Allen and wouldn't trade him for anyone, but expecting him to average like 350 yards per game is completely bonkers.
