  1. Ah, that's why PFF took so long to apologize to Josh Allen. Damn, it's like they wanted him to fail.
  2. You can negotiate a no trade clause in your contract, if you so choose. No, I don't think I do. You don't get to decide what is or isn't fair. Sorry.
  3. People are convinced that: A) parity is a good thing (because no one looks back fondly on dynasties) B) the cap and draft are the only reason parity exists (untrue with the cap, dunno about the draft).
  4. Man, this is an argument 13 year olds make. I specifically remember debating this at school when I was young. Answer is: the NFL makes a lot of money. Who is responsible for making that money? The players provide the product. Where would you have the bulk of that money go if not to the players?
  5. Yes, it is fair. They possess skills and talent that is deemed worth what they are paid, just like any other career. NFL owners are not bleeding money because they have to pay their players. These guys can do things that a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a percent of people are able to do. Just because it's a lot of money, and more than you or I will ever see in a lifetime, doesn't make it "unfair". Explain soccer in Europe, then.
  6. Did you not read what I wrote?
  7. You know, they say Kyle Shanahan is an offensive guru but his favourite QB is Kirk Cousins. 2+2 is equalling 5 here.
  8. The ability to choose your employer is socialism? Pretty sure it's closer to the opposite.
  9. That's completely missing the point. It's the same as you getting a degree in engineering and then you just declare "I want a job" and a company takes you into their employ. You get no say, even if the company in question has an awful reputation. It's definitely not fair to the players, but doing it a different way seems impossible as all the top talent would just sign with the best teams.
  10. Gluten isn't punishment for everyone
  11. I'm not so worried about that as him pulling a DeSean Jackson prior to the goal line.
  12. Yeah, it's pretty sad when you look at it. The contenders are Singletary, Moss, Harris, and idk, Myles Gaskin? Makes me feel better about our backs, I guess.
  13. Absolutely. You can live completely comfortably in Montreal as an Anglophone, I have a friend who lives there as one, in fact. Head up to places like Quebec City and you are treated like the scum of the earth for not speaking French, first hand experience. I think the fact so many English speakers live in QC is the reason they are so overprotective of their French culture. And they probably feel like their most important city has been lost to the English.
  14. Yes, Quebec seems to be literally allergic to English or even English adjacent words. In France, stop signs say "stop". In Quebec, they all say "arret". I am surprised it's still legal to speak English there at all.
  15. I am not sure why the reactions to your post are what they are. The Argos bleed money, but go even to Hamilton and you'll find huge support. Not to mention the popularity of the CFL out West in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and even Alberta. Not sure about BC. Canadians DO love the CFL, just not in Toronto. In Ontario, the NFL is already more popular than the CFL. I have friends who are Lions fans, Bengals fans, Packers fans, Patriots fans, Cowboys fans, etc. Everyone here already has a team they are loyal to that they would not dump in favour of a Toronto team. I know I wouldn't, and god help me if they start up that nonsense about moving the Bills to Toronto again.
  16. Cody Ford is a bit of a wildcard right now Boettger isn't a starter Yes Yes, was out of position, isn't a starter.
  17. 6-77 is exactly what I'd agree is not allowing them to dominate, but that is certainly a fine game for Diggs. He's had worse, specifically against LAR, LAC and even the second game against the Jets. Kelce still got 133 yards, and Hill had a similar game as Diggs. So clearly the work was done to not try to prevent them from getting the ball, but limit the impact when they do. 133 yards and the Chiefs didn't score a TD, that's pretty remarkable. The Bills also had consistently garbage field position for most of that game.
  18. People really need to stop obsessing over how to "stop" Kelce. He's one of the best TEs ever paired with one of the best QBs ever. You can not stop them. Do you not think teams tried to stop Diggs? The elite of the elite always get theirs, and we already have one of the best coverage LBs in Matt Milano. Kelce is a 6'-5", 250 pound player who can turn and run like a guy half his size. Limit the YAC and do your best to eliminate the long pass. That's all you can do. If the Chiefs want to score 30, they mostly just do. If Josh had been given the time Mahomes was, that game would have been a slugfest. Idk how TB was able to completely negate KC's offense, but I doubt it will happen again.
  19. There's literally nothing else to talk about, other than the 567th mock draft that just came out.
  20. A CB needs to be taken at 30, imo. That is the team's most glaring need. I don't really see DE as nearly the weakness outside coverage is. I know it's greedy to want 2 Tre Whites...but I want 2 Tre Whites. Even if Newsome and Farley don't make it to 30 (shocking if either one does) there are a bunch of CBs with speed and skill available. That's where we have to trust the Bills' ability to develop players. If your RB is the one getting your QB killed in pass pro, you have bigger issues than your RB's ability to block.
  21. Joe Mauer was on the cover of MLB the Show 09 and 10
  22. The defense last year wasn't even bad so idk why people complain about it so much. I guess I understand we're used to being some alternate version of the Bears, but it's not like the defense was below average.
  23. What I noticed in watching both is that, though they counted Allen having two more, many of Allen's were nearly uncatchable or 50/50 balls or simply an amazing play by the defender (the Colts DB laying out). Almost all of Mahomes' drops were basically in the defender's breadbasket. I can't believe that many were dropped. Unsure if I'm being biased here.
