Jimmy G is a really good QB
Kyle Shanahan as a HC really struggles to win football games when he doesn't have Jimmy G at QB.
Just look at Shanahan's W-L record with vs. without Jimmy.

opinionated seeing Trevor not even hit the NFL yet... Lets see Trevor hit the NFL level and then find out who will be better or worse.. Don't get me wrong.. I love the chatter going on but this kind of opinionated talk borderlines on silliness
Trevor is nothing special, honestly. He's just another prospect on a loaded Clemson team. He relies on the horizontal game a lot; checkdowns to the RB. His arm talent is above average but not elite. He throws to open receivers rather than throw receivers open.
I think Zach Wilson ends up as the #1 QB from this draft in the long run.

He is a narcissist. He thinks he is the best player to ever grace the game of football. He blames everyone but himself.
And if he doesn't get a job next year I'm sure he'll say that the NFL is racist, regardless of the fact that he has thrown twice as many INT's as he has TD's.
The sad thing is I used to like him until I got to know what kind of person he is and how full of himself he is. Now I can't stand him.
Unlikeable football player.
Unlikeable human being.
He is the worst.

Yup, that's Cam Newton.

Most Overrated QB in NFL History and there isn't even a close 2nd.
This is undisputable fact.

My God, listen to Mel Kiper's pinpoint analysis from 3:09 to 4:09 in this video. In 1 minute, Mel Kiper laid out exactly why this kid deserved to be the #1 overall pick in the draft. Brilliant analysis from Kiper; every word he said was right on the money. The casuals (that includes many of you nonbelievers) were too focused on box score stats to see the bigger picture. Stats are for losers.
Mel Kiper NAILS it here. Perfectly stated by him. Carefully listen again to everything Mel says. Just brilliant.

I would hope so. He’s a vet and this is his 4th team now I think. He should be more seasoned than a rookie. Point was Stills is not that good that’s why he doesn’t stick places. Davis has as good of stats almost as Stills has ever had in his rookie year.
I’m happy for the signing and emergency depth. He can be a useful deep threat or decoy but I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t see a playoff snap either even if we have injuriesDavis has his numbers because he's an afterthought for opposing defenses. He is left 1on1 the whole game. Nobody is worried about Davis. Davis puts up numbers simply because he plays so many snaps in an elite Passing Offense. Any WR left 1on1 as often as Davis in THIS particular offense is going to put up some numbers. It doesn't make him good, or impactful.
1 minute ago, YoloinOhio said:Don’t get me wrong, I like Davis’s potential and he’s exceeded my expectations as a 4th round rookie this year but I think he benefits from the coverage the other guys draw. If the bills are left with him all of a sudden as WR2 I think the whole passing game will be negatively impacted. Maybe he becomes that in time but right now he’s most effective as WR 4 and the Bills are adding insurance to make sure it stays that way
+1
Perfectly stated.

Did we get a new tight end?
You realize that Gave Davis creates 0 separation and struggles to get open, right?
He is also a rookie, and was the worst player on the field against the Pats.
Just now, Rc2catch said:He should be the weakest link.. Lol he’s supposed to be the 5th option in the offense. Stills was the 4th-5th option in Houston.
Right...and Stills is a better WR than Davis.
Stills >>> Davis.
This is obvious. Why are we even arguing this?

Umm...you don't watch games much do you?
Read the post directly above yours, agreeing with what I said.
YOU don't watch the games. Gabe Davis is the weakest link on the Bills offense.
-
Excellent move.
Gabe Davis is awful. Never gets open unless it's a blown coverage. He creates zero separation vs man coverage. The fumble and the lack of effort vs the Pats was the cherry on top. Can't trust this bad rookie in playoff games.
Stills is a huge upgrade as an outside WR over Davis.

I just want to avoid the Ravens at all costs.
Their gimmick is something that could easily end our season.
Rather play against a more "normal" team.
Ryan Fitzpatrick playing with nothing to lose, can beat anybody. That's the worry.
I fear Fitzpatrick more than Lamar.

Last night I was listening to one of the sports channels on Sirius. They where talking about Tua playing with like 8 first round picks on offense alone at Bama and should we be evaluating qbs also on who they where throwing to as part of the evaluation...then they brought
up Josh and imagine his numbers if he played for say Urban Meyer at Ohio State. Saying there’s no way he’s there at 7 if he played for the Buckeyes or even Baker playing at Wyoming instead of Oklahoma no way he’s no1...found it interesting if we should start evaluating qbs on who else is on their team
If Baker Mayfield played college football at Wyoming, he would have gone Undrafted. Literally.
Josh Allen was a one-man football team at Wyoming. Singlehandedly won 2/3rds of his starts there all on his own. When Josh was out, Wyoming got blown out by bad teams.

The OP might have a point.
There is no guarantee that Flores starts Tua in the playoffs. What if Flores starts Fitzpatrick in the playoffs? Are we sure that's an easier matchup than the Ravens? I'm not sold.
Ryan Fitzpatrick is a more dangerous Playoff QB than Lamar Jackson. He can pull off wins like last night. You're actually worried about Fitzpatrick beating you with his arm in spectacular fashion. In a 1 game elimination scenario, Fitzpatrick can actually be scary to face.

Kurt Warner had a great comment that Tua needs to get used to NFL open for WR's. And he has a larger learning curve than other QB's because of how talented Alabama is.
Thing I dislike most about Tua is that he doesn't seem to have a single elite skill set of any kind. You're basically hoping he can be the second coming of Drew Brees.
Tua is the left handed Baker Mayfield.
Tua and Baker are the same. Neither have a single elite skill or trait of any kind.

Tua stinks.
Never an elite NFL QB prospect.

Jets are good against the run and poor against the pass. This is huge imo
But but accuracy... and left handed and Alabama Football!!!!!
Nobody actually understands what "accuracy" means.
Sam Bradord was deemed "accurate".
Josh Rosen was deemed "accurate".
These so-called experts do not understand what Accuracy truly means.

See so many tweets that preface Tua criticism with “He’s going to be good for a long time, but...”I’d love for anyone who does that to explain why “he’s going to be good for a long time”.
Media is trying to cling to another false narrative.
They're trying to push the false narrarive that Tua is good.

I told you guys that Tua isn't any good.
Just another misevaluation by the so-called experts.
Tua is a bust.

The biggest thing to watch out for in this game is John Brown.
How healthy does he look? Is he explosive? Did he finish the game healthy?
Weeks 16 and 17 are John Brown's tuneup games to get up to speed for the Playoff Run.
This is the biggest storyline to follow from this game.

No matter what team Brady is on, he always has all day to throw.
That is because:
1) Bill Belichick kept "The Paint" clean for him for 20 years in New England.
2) The Bucs have an elite, Top 5 Offensive Line.

They need each other. Neither will be quite as good without the other.
It's harder to find an Allen than a Daboll, but Herbert or Watson are extremely good-looking young QBs.
Daboll was considered smart and a good OC since he got here. He had a head coaching interview last year, so the argument he wasn't talked about positively till now is pure nonsense. He's damn smart. Doesn't guarantee he'll be a good HC, but he's without question an excellent OC.
It's not a sure thing Daboll goes but that's the way to bet. If he does, who they get to replace him will be important.
Allen doesn't need Daboll. Like, not even a teeny bit.
Allen will be even better in 2021 without Daboll. Allen will be the League MVP in 2021 without Daboll.

I sure as hell hope that Daboll does go. That way Josh can dominate without him, and kill another false narrative.
All Josh does is kill false narratives. This whole Daboll thing is just the latest false narrative that Allen is going to destroy down the line.
Good. Always need a false narrative to keep Allen motivated.

Could be, I don’t know a thing about him personally. Just because you are a great coordinator, doesn’t mean you are a head coach. The roles are very different and to be honest, had Josh not developed, Dabolls history is not good. His refusal to change his scheme to meet the talent of his team is also worrisome. He may be here for longer than the paranoid think, but then again Gase got a job sooo.
Last year makes your statements look correct. Lest we forget, his scheme played against everything his roster did well, this year Allen turns into a monster, with no formal off season to speak of and Daboll becomes a genius..
Daboll is just an instrument the anti-JA media uses to take credit away from JA. Nothing more.
Do not fall for it. Daboll is a nobody. Before 2020, nobody ever talked about Daboll in a positive light. JA will win MVP next season by taking another big leap WITHOUT Daboll. Daboll will have a losing record coaching another team with a different QB. By then, everyone will realize that JA created Daboll, which I knew from the beginning.

This L is going to fall on Allen's W-L record, just like Week 17 last year.
Allen will start the game, play a few series, Matt Barkley will play the rest of the game, lose, and then the L will fall on Allen since he was the starter.
Darn shame that Josh Allen will be credited with 2 Losses on his record (Week 17 last year and this year) simply because he was the "starter"
