I don't think the BB praise is aimed at his awesome gameplan, it's aimed at his team's preparedness, discipline, and execution. They just won a weather game in primetime on the road with a rookie QB who wasn't asked to do anything other than band the ball off. If Jones had been injured and they had to play a defensive lineman at QB they still would have won the game. If you don't praise coaching for that you are underestimating the influence of coaching.

The one yard dives into the guards ass seem like malicious compliance. Like McD told him to cut out the gimmicks and just stick to fundamentals after the Jax game and now Daboll is just running vanilla dive plays he knows have no chance of working because that's what the boss told him. Team as a whole was built to win yesterday's game by scoring more than the 14 points the defense allowed. Yesterdays defensive performance was demoralizing, but bottom line the offense lost the game, again

I don't really care about next year but for the rest of this year they really need to start subbing Edmunds. Play him vs pass happy teams and on obvious passing downs. When you're playing a team everybody knows is going to run every down like last night he can't be on the field

Yeah there's a bit of a weird narrative that has formed since last night that the defensive failure was caused by the coaches not scheming to stop the run. The defense was set up and plays were called to stop the run, the guys on the field just can't do it though. The D line isn't good enough to stop the run and the linebackers definitely aren't good enough to stop the run. It's hugely demoralizing to get walked on by a team that only attempts three passes in the entire game, but it's not like there's some coaching magic that will fix that. The fix is to have lineman that don't get pushed out of holes and linebackers that don't get demolished by blockers, but the bills don't have that.

Throw to Diggs! Last year Allen would just throw the ball to Diggs, whether he was open or not. And it worked. This year it seems like he's only throwing to Diggs if Diggs is open or if they play is specifically designed to go to Diggs. I don't understand the change. It's not like the old way was burning them.

When he misses a tackle he misses it at the line where a middle LB is supposed to be, not 10 or 15 yards away from the hole getting pushed backwards like Edmunds. The defense is clearly better with him than with Edmunds. I have no idea why this isn't mutually agreed on. I feel like I'm in crazy world

Hope Klein keeps starting. It's hugely refreshing to not have to see your MLB being pushed 15 yards down the field on every running play
