  1. it's a one game season from this point on. If he can go... we need him. Those option routes he runs are all about feel and reps developed over 2yrs of work with JA17. Can't replicate that.
  2. I’ll argue with the notion that playing next week is better than a bye week. these guys have been playing every week since the Cards game as if each were a playoff game. a one week rest and recovery week would be super clutch right now. a bye is a guaranteed WIN. 3 consecutive wins in the NFL are much easier to come by than 4. everything else was spot on.
  3. McKenzie on O Marlowe on D
  4. It’s not a tough call and it’s not good analysis. Edmunds is 22 years old and a 2x pro bowler. He consistently makes plays, his teammates rave about his leadership on and off the field, he plays hurt and he is only going to keep getting better. does he miss a few plays every game? Yep. Let him go so he can become a perennial all-pro for the Pats or some other future opponent? Asinine! every year NFL front offices have to make hard decisions. Bringing both Edmunds AND Milano back is not one of those decisions.
  5. I almost included Spiller but was he really a “closer” as the heading asked? I decided he was a speedster, a good receiver and returner but I wouldn’t classify him a “closer.”
  6. 100% on point. since Thurman we’ve had some really good RBs come thru here. Travis Henry, McGahee, Lynch and Freddie could all be considered top shelf “closers” of a much higher caliber than Moss at this point in his career. Give it a year or three and then let’s see if this is a legit discussion.
  7. I’m hoping Diggs wins AFC OPOW and JA wins AFC OPOM. reward them both.
  8. I couldn’t disagree more for this one reason... the NFLs top 3 TEs (Kelce, Kittle, Waller) were all 3rd rd or later draft picks. they were never thought of a the next “Kelce/Witten/Gonzalez” etc. McBeane need to continue to draft the best player available that fits the Buffalo Bills culture they have built. JA17 even mentioned postgame last night about how much talent Knox has and speculated about “if” Knox ever puts it all together how great he can be. Sure... if there is a stud TE available that fits the culture, by all means, draft him. But don’t go out of your way to find your “Kelce.” Sammy Watkins is a perfect example of that mentality not working out for the Bills.
  9. Fans are only part of home field advantage. lots of other factors include: Being in their own homes till the night before the game. familiarity and routine. home locker/training rooms field conditions
  10. Start? No chance Finish? Likely
  11. Yep... just like the Falcons and Jets did yesterday against playoff teams. great take!
  12. Bad teams find ways to lose. good teams find ways to win. Mahomes is reminding me of Brady during the SB losses. Put pressure on him and he becomes average. I definitely think the Bills can beat these guys. Not saying they will... but... they definitely can.
  13. Nope... don’t want nothing to do with Lamar Jackson in the playoffs. I still think the Bills would win but I think Jackson is always an X-factor that can’t be game-planned for. If he makes 2 or 3 crazy plays it is the difference between winning and losing a playoff game.
  14. This would never happen but it would be hilarious if the backups are beating Tua so Flores trots Fitz out in the second half and, as a counter move, McD puts his starters in for the 3rd to put the game away before bringing the backups back out for the 4th. that would be a fun game of “one-upsmanship.”
  15. haha... yep. I guess we are! Incorrect sir... but it is much more lame than 6701 or... 9182 or... 11,006. I'm just saying... you can fit a lot more than 6700 fans in the stadium while still enforcing 10ft of social distancing. All I'm wanting is for our players to have the experience of playing a home playoff game in front of as many BillsMafia as possible. Nothing nefarious going on here I assure you.
  16. lame number but I guess beggars can't be choosers.
  17. I get your point and I agree with the second part but I disagree that he had a “bad” 4 game stretch. no QB keeps up the pace JA had in games 1-4. All of them cool off at times. he still played above average in games 5-8. TN game he had 263yds and a 67QBR KC game he had only 122yds but still had a strong 79QBR Jets game he had 307yds and a 60QBR Pats game he had 154yds and a 40QBR QBR takes everything into account (rushing yards, rushing tds, situational/clutch play.) anything over 50 is considered good. as you can see, only the Pats game was below 50 and even that game I would say he played within the game plan which was to grind it out on the ground, as evidenced by only 18pass attempts. The pick in that game was a bad one. All that to say... the national media has created this illusion that he was bad for a big chunk of the season and has only recently turned it back around. I contend that he’s been good all year and he’s been GREAT in 7 games.
  18. I think it’s wishful thinking unless Rogers and Mahomes have sh!t games these last 2 weeks. I just don’t see the voters giving it to the young-gun with no playoff success over the other two who are both regular season MVPs, super-bowl MVPs and Super Bowl champs. It would have to be a large margin for JA17 to win it this year. But how cool is it that we are even having this discussion?? Wow!!!
  19. Jackson won it 5 times last season so maybe 5=MVP.
  20. Win out and we get two guaranteed home playoff games (assuming they win the first round) and could possibly host the AFC championship game if some upsets the Chefs. crazy season.
  21. like the teams switched unis at halftime. Bungles are in trouble.
  22. Steelers rd 1 (easiest game) Titans rd 2 (revenge #1) Chiefs rd 3 (revenge #2 plus it would be the most legit thing ever to knock off the defending champs) Cards in SB (revenge #3) 2020 - SB Champion Buffalo Bills!!! a fella can dream can't he?? haha!
  23. I want nothing to do with Lamar and Ravens. He wants nothing more than to make up for the playoff loss last year and he is one of those players that can make a 60yd play even when you've done everything right on that play. Not saying the Bills couldn't win... in fact I would favor them against any team they play in the playoffs... but I would much prefer the Ravens play someone else in the 1st round and then have to go to KC for the 2nd round. Let those two pound it out and we'll take whoever emerges for the AFC championship.
  24. #2 seed looking more and more possible. Cincy came to play.
