We also have to hope the Off line develops and the tight ends develop - Tom Brady often had multiple top draft choices on his lines..he had 2 (not 1) 1st rd draft picks as tight ends to go along with that line Lets please slow down on the fantasy football line that somehow an offense develops only as a qb does... it all happens together

And I would assume most of the 5 unknown bidders would not be local.... not exactly a warm fuzzy

Yes the trust has a right to grab the highest bid and the public has a right to their opinion regarding the Wilsons and their estate. Go take the highest bid worth more money than you will ever be able to spend in a lifetime at the price of what? So that you can lose much of the public opinion towards you and your hubbys memory.

Understood - of course most secure would be have a local group be the one's signing such an agreement to be double sure it stays. For Bills fans this is our baby - and selling to anyone other than Pegula equates to dangling our baby over the Falls over a little extra $$$ and yes thats quite irksome especially when a reported local bid of 1.3 billion would seem sufficient

Excuse me for totally not trusting the intent of a man who did the following: 1- 1976 allows all pro ahmad rashad to walk and play for Vikes over 15k 2- 1979 allows #1 pick overall to walk to Canada over money - outbid by a CFL team 3- 1983 allows USFL to outbid and take Jim Kelly from us 4- 1984 allows USFL to take away 4 time probowl rb joe cribbs *** Surprise surprise we see our team go 2-14 in back to back seasons 1984 & 1985 - gee what could cause that? I would have thought any of these would never happen at the time - especially in pre-salary cap era, but they all did over someone wanting to stuff more money in his pocket. Now we are supposed to blindly trust he is selling to anything other than a highest bid.

Kirby thats just not true. IF as you state the trust must take a bid by someone who commits to buffalo - why would they dance with jbj & toronto? Tells us this Kirby - do you believe JBJ and his Toronto buddies would keep the team in Buffalo? It must mean the degree of 'committment' demanded by the trust is not a very high thresshold - they asked JBJ and group to up bid and promise even more to keep the team here - write another letter and we can take your high bid?? Apparently Kirby thinks/believe JBJ and Toronto would keep the team in Buffalo. What else would explain the request to resubmit a bid?
-
I know you state this - and we would all love this to be true. But is this based on anything other than a hope? This also contrasts to the trust dancing with a JBJ bid backed by Toronto interests - many fans would not trust such a group to keep the team here yet the trust continues to dance with them.... why? Define 'committed' - is the trust looking for enough of a 'promise/commitment' that gives them enough cover to walk away with a highest bid from a bidder who may be able to break away down the road? National NFL writer Sal Paliantonio seemed to indicate its going highest bid Whats really pretty silly is you possibly comparing to a person wanting to maximize profits by a person alive selling a beach house to the directives given by a man who has passed away for a billion asset that was largely funded by the monies of this community

What do we do with Henderson?
jahbonas replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He struggled early but then came on ? He has yet to play a preseason game....struggle early in walk throughs? The 'early grading' of these players by some of the media gets a bit ridiculous -
Thanks Jeremy - or is this Bulldog dope?
-
Hearing Jeremy in the morning and then Bulldog in the afternoon singing the same dumb argument. I like Sammy Watkins but if EJ fails we have no way to acquire a QB next year because we wont have a top #1 pick The following teams did not acquire their current QB with a round 1 pick: 1- Seattle 2- Denver 3- San Fran 4- New England 5- New Orleans 6 - Bengals 7 - Philadelphia 8- KC Chiefs Thats 8 of last years starting playoff QBs - none we acquired by their current team using a 1st rd pick - NONE. We also have $55 million projected cap room next year And can they please tell us who this mystery qb they would draft with the pick next year is that would come in and lead us to the playoffs? Very competent QBs hit the market for various reasons - if you have the cap room and attractive talent - they can be acquired

Thank You Ralph - giving clear directive to the trust that a priority would be given to a Buffalo based ownership (if they paid 1 Billion) was not enough. -

You really expect to use such a poorly written article as proof of no Niagara Falls site??? Lets see : 1- repeatedly indicates 80,000 seat stadium when almost all indicate 60,000 - thats quite a few less people 2- indicates a stadium used 10x year has no impact - very true but all agree any new stadium would be a dome used 100x year 3- never mentions the main reason why Niagara Falls is attractive - its close proximity to the Toronto Corporate market
