So now the Texans have given the Dolphins 2 first round draft choices including the the #3 this year plus a second round pick for Tunsil and now pick up a pro bowl linebacker in exchange for a scrub DE they over paid for in FA last year. I almost feel like the Texans owner lost a massive poker bet to the Owners of the Cardinals and Dolphins. Both teams are way better now because of the Texans.

I think anything is possible because my name is not Brandon Beane. We have a few holes at WR with JB and possibly McKenzie’s exodus’s. To completely rule out (with certainty) the potential of a top WR coming here is lazy and closed minded. Both SB teams were/are completely loaded at WR and TE. Since it’s a copycat league what makes you think this is 1000000% not happening to the point you are discouraging other posters from considering the possibility?

I love when people definitively speak as if they are in the know but clearly are not. We have zero idea what direction the Bills will go in free agency so let’s not pretend like we do.

Nearly all QBs signed via FA to be the starter will command a min salary of $15M. That’s a huge chunk. Dalton, Fitz, Smith should get $10M min and Trubisky / Crab Legs should get $15M+

We shall see. Most of those teams with a lot of cap have rosters that are gutted and need a QB.

Which isn’t available until next year so I’m guessing he will sign a 1 year deal. If he has another 10 plus sack year he will break the bank.

At the end of the day, hope is all we really have in this world.

There’s going to be 50 3rd round comps 2 years from now because 90% of the contracts this off season will be 1yr deals. On the other hand there shouldn’t be many comp picks at all next year because the market is flooded with players that were cut. Should be interesting.

I bet he gets the exact same deal as Mahomes plus + $1M AAV. Josh should and will be the highest paid QB in the history of the NFL at time of contract.

Josh doesn’t have a super model wife that makes more money than he does and I’m sure the Pegulas won’t agree to pay Josh off the books like I’m sure Kraft was doing with Brady. That being said, I see no reason for Josh to give the Bills a discount.

On what grounds? We had one of the tougher schedules in football. Josh is only going to get better plus our team was not very healthy heading into the playoffs.

How’s he going to GB? They are 29M over the cap and I don’t see them clearing the 50-60M needed to sign Watt, Draft picks and other free agents. Rodgers sure isn’t going to give them a discount.
