  1. Hamdan is significantly better than Fitzpatrick.
  2. Just watching the Madden memorial...does it seem like he died, instead of retired? Where is he?
  3. Well, it appears with that, they have decided to go to late-game Cleveland mode.
  4. Well, shut my mouth.
  5. So, what are hte odds the Bills just take a knee?
  6. Man, how did we not do better than Ryan Fitzpatrick? There seemed to be a glut of failed starters out there, we ended up with a guy overmatched to be a backup.
  7. Was that Nick Harris who wrapped up Young>
  8. I'm glad they went for it there - I always wonder...how much is it worth practicing your field goal team? That seems like it's almost exactly the same in practice as in a live game. Might as well try your short-yardage game.
  9. Omon's running hard - where's Rhodes? Hurt?
  10. Nice pick by McKelvin, but really, who the hell was Vince throwing that to? He might not make the team at this rate.
  11. Well, so long Trent, et al. That was fun while it lasted.
  12. I'd say "don't worry about it, once our scheming comes into play in the regular season, we'll be in better shape" but I don't really think scheme and gameplan is what gives us our edge.
  13. Schobel's gonna get beat by a WR every time - so is every other DE in the league. The team got burned there. I'm not liking our (lack) of coverage on Crumpler.
  14. Four man rush, nobody should get that open.
  15. The Bills are DESTROYING Chris Johnson. That's something.
  16. Yeah, even if he gets three preseason games, i think we're going to be fine. It's been stupid, like most of the other draft picks who haven't been signed, but I think it won't really matter as long as he gets a few weeks in. IF he's been working out like he plans to play in the NFL this year.
  17. It's gotta be Bruce. Arguably the single greatest player at his position of all time - which is definitely more than you can say for Jimbo and Thurman, and I think there's not really a case that it's true of the Juice. Plus, no matter how good Bruce looked on the field, the truth always was that he was even better than that. The guy played end in a true 3-4 defense and set the sack record. That's like throwing for 5000 yards all out of the Wildcat or breaking the rushing record in a Run & Shoot.
  18. What if there were some kind of deadline for both sides that was much earlier than the next year's draft? Say August 1st - no contract, the player doesn't get paid and the team loses the pick. That seems like enough Mutually Assured Destruction to make sure deals get done. Of course, if Russ Brandon borrows Darcy Regier's fax machine, we'll all be screwed.
  19. Has anyone ever fired Eugene Parker? He seems to get more and higher-profile clients every year. I don't like him either, but apparently he's doing exactly the job that these guys hired him for.
  20. I'm sorry, are you asking us whether or not we're pleased the late daughter of the team's owner has died? Because that's what rating "Linda B." is on a scale starting at 'Do not resuscitate' sounds like to me.
  21. Yeah, because Aaron Maybin would be playing for $25,000, but Joel Siegal has him locked in the basement.
  22. No clue. Sports agents are hired to get the best deal for their clients. And I don't think holdouts or complaining to the media exactly involve some kind of soul-selling deal with the devil. If Joel Segal had hired a hitman to take out Aaron Schobel's knees in order to get Maybin a better deal, that'd be a different story. But I wouldn't say there's any real problem in, you know, waiting to see what the market is before he signs a deal. Annoying, but if Maybin's willing to take the risk, I don't think he's getting bad advice. In any case, I'm paying to see the guys on the field, not the guy in the owner's box. I'm just as happy that they more money than less. I mean, I don't like it when high salaries make us less competitive, but that's a problem with revenue sharing.
  23. I would enthusiastically root for a team named the New York Eff Yous.
  24. Romo does seem poised to backslide, but his last three seasons would rank #1, #2, and #3 in passer rating for the Bills 1992-present.
