  1. Jauron needs to have been fired yesterday.
  2. I hope his guffaws make up for the 95% paycut.
  3. I don't think a benching is going to help his confidence. He needs a QB coach.
  4. What's more likely, the Bills win the game against the Pats, or the Pats win by 35 points?
  5. There's gonna be a goddam QB controversy this year, I can feel it. The Bills are going to start 0-4, and Jauron is going to yank Edwards and put it Fitzpatrick. Afterwards, he'll claim Trent was hurt. Fitzpatrick will start the next game, but no update will be given on Edwards' physical condition. Then, after Fitzpatrick loses a few, Trent will go back in, Jauron claiming he was the starter all along. And he'll be retained because "who knows what would have happened with a full season of Trent?"
  6. Belichick has to be worried about how he won't get accused of cheating after he beats us 77-3
  7. Nice pass by Charlie Batch - he's really carved out a role for himself on the Steelers bench.
  8. They're lucky this game wasn't in Buffalo, or else the boos would be raining down on these chumps.
  9. The Bills have 30 yards of offense and 28 yards in penalties.
  10. All right, one turnover, one first down. Let's break the tie here.
  11. The Bills need four new defensive linemen, or else a pass rush scheme that involves linebackers.
  12. Broken play gave us a shot, then we blew a long run and got no pressure on 3rd down.
  13. See if they bring in any QBs to try out - Kevin O'Connell doesn't seem to have the same ability as Matt Cassell.

  15. You live in the Bizzaro world if you think that Trent is going to rip his coaches in the media during the preseason.
  16. Prediction: In December, Dick Jauron is fired. Dom Capers is hired in January. In March, he releases Kelsay, Williams, and Stroud because "we're switching to a 3-4," and brings in scrubs from his old teams. In August, Schobel is released after his switch to LB is unsuccessful. In the fall, the Bills go 4-12. "The new defense takes some time to get rolling". In 2011, the Bills go 8-8. "Improvement means it's worth keeping. Beside, the 3-4 hits its stride in year 3, we're ahead of schedule." In 2012, we're 6-10. Capers is fired, and the Bills hire a coach who promises to bring back the pass rush and run a 4-3, purging the old roster's 3-4 specialists and signing retreads from his old teams. Repeat every 3 years.
  17. $350. Ouch.
  18. If Parker is lying about the reasons for Crabtree's holdout, I think it would be pretty easy for his potential clients to determine the truth by, say, calling up Michael Crabtree.
  19. Reed is probably going to lose out in a numbers game in the near future. There are some superstar WRs going in soon, and to writers who didn't watch him play, he's going to look like a guy who played a long time and accumulated numbers without being a gamebreaker. None of his seasons were in the top 100 for receptions, yards, and TDs. He just kept playing well for a long time, and Art Monk seems to prove that the voters will make you wait a decade before they decide that's enough.
