Actually, what's pretty alarming is that a LOT of people believe that aliens have contacted the US government. It's not like aliens are at 5% and Jauron is at 3%. 37% is a lot of people. Generally, that's the kind of range that both the Democratic and Republican parties get (with the last 25-30% being independents). So if you decided to base your campaign for president on this issue (and it seems like the kind of thing that should be important enough to the true believers to trump domestic and foreign policy concerns), it sounds like you'd start out on roughly equal footing with the major party candidates.

If the NFL is fixing the schedule to give the Patriots our game after their bye every week, it's to screw them, not us. The one game for which they get an extra week to prepare is the one they were unquestionably going to win anyway.

I'm willing to believe that in any poll, 5% of people just answer wrong, for any reason - messing with the pollster, being really old and not hearing the question, not speaking English well, repeating the first answer choice just to get off the phone, etc. That doesn't explain the geocentrists.

If draft picks are worthless because our front office can't draft talent, then there's no point in following the team. You can't succeed in this league unless you can draft. Now, that's not to say that it's not accurate, and it's not to say that Stroud isn't more valuable than a first round pick. But if we don't have any chance of drafting talent, there's no team.
