  1. Sorry - I can only follow online. Did Kyle Williams get hurt on an offensive play?
  2. What I don't like is that we've given up 54 rushing first downs, just one better than the worst-in-the-league Browns. Rushing first downs are really the sign of us getting beat where it counts, all the more painful because our pass defense is playing really well (or at least, is simply blessed by opponents like Byron Leftwich, Derek Anderson, and Mark Sanchez)
  3. I think the Bills' best hope to get a real GM is for Ralph to promote Brandon to team president, and then authorize him to hire a GM to handle football operations.
  4. I wonder if it's possible that a London team would be HQed in the United States, for immigration and payroll purposes, and really just play its games in the UK. Still, though, I think this is more of a marketing strategy for the London series than an actual plan. "Oh yeah, Brits - come enjoy the game, you might even get a team of your own!" It's unlikely.
  5. Yep, ten straight TD receptions as a Bill, before the streak was broken during a meaningless week 17 game against Detroit, I can tell you after looking it up. I remember that Detroit game - he caught a short pass from Reich around midfield, and I was heartbroken when he didn't take it to the house. Seriously, I was pissed at Reich for a week afterwards.
  6. Yeah, that should raise some pretty serious questions about who the hell is in charge on this ship. We need a QB with better social skills than Tracy Jordan (DO NOT LOOK AT MR. EDWARDS! DO NOT LOOK AT HIM IN THE FACE!)
  7. I can't figure out Kyle Williams. Sometimes, he really seems to be making plays with great energy and intensity. I like Stroud and Schobel, and Kelsay is even having a better year than I remember him having in a little while. So it seems like the individuals are fine. But the defensive line is clearly not getting it done, and I have no idea who to blame anymore. Is it just that Williams and Kelsay are getting noticed for making a -2 yard stuff on 4th down or a QB hurry and failing to make the 2 yard stops so the plays become 8 yard gains? Or is this all on the LBs?
  8. 4-3-1 if you don't count his 0-4 start.
  9. I think Roscoe Parrish must have spent his signing bonus hiring boosters. I've never seen such a marginal, mistake-prone player get so much praise around here. At least the Wes Welker comparisons have drifted away.
  10. At which positions do we have better talent, exactly?
  11. This is, by far, the worst trade proposal I have seen on this board.
  12. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/blog/?p=4309 And more.
  13. That INT in overtime was painful. The defense puts up a solid stop deep in Jets territory, and gives the ball back to the offense at nearly midfield, and they tried to give the game away. Luckily, Sanchez gave it right back, or else we'd be here talking about the Bills choking the game away.
  14. Gilbride and Cottrell are the only ones who have really had any success in the same jobs we had them in. There rest of them got demoted and had a modest amount of success.
  15. Fitzpatrick goes 0/3 in overtime with a disastrous interception and suddenly becomes John freaking Elway.
  16. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed five passes to wide receivers, including a screen to Owens that went for a loss. Two to Owens, two to Evans, one to Reed. That's not good. That's comprable to the numbers Edwards put up last week in that train wreck. I'm not sure that Fitzpatrick is worse than Edwards, but it's not enough to make a difference.
  17. Time to delete this thread.
  18. Both quarterbacks are awful. Fitzpatrick was intercepted at midfield in overtime. He got bailed out by Sanchez being awful. But he gave the game away on an absymal pass and they got it back on another. Edwards is also awful. It's not an argument worth having. We need a real QB.
  19. The Bills aren't actually out of this game. I mean, they are as a practical matter, since our offense is terrifyingly bad, but despite our series of problems, the defense is keeping them in striking range, despite all of its injuries. The Jets are not that good.
  20. Nobody check the score of the Patriots-Titans game.
  21. Okay, Ryan Fitzpatrick is worthless.
  22. Raiders up on the Eagles - there's another competitor for the top QB.
  23. For all the talk about injuries, the Bills are only missing one starting offensive lineman and one guy from the defensive front 7.
  24. Jarius Byrd got beat pretty badly there, though Terrence McGee seems to be the only one hustling.
  25. Wow, nothing makes a 80 yard run better than an 80 yard run with a 15 yard bonus after the TD.
