  1. Sign Tupa! The answer to our QB woes, and you never know when you might need a new punter. I mean, in Tecmo Super Bowl, I could average 70 yards with him. Eat that, Moorman.
  2. If any of the big 3 QBs are on the board when we pick, it's a solid change to trade down with a Minnesota, a Miami, or even with the Cowboys. Besides, even if the draft goes Bush - Brick - Ngata -Williams - Davis - Huff - Bunkley, we can still pick up, say, a Tamba Hali for our D line, Winston Justice for OT, or even Jimmie Williams to replace Nate if he leaves in 2007 (not that all 3 QBs will drop that far anyway).
  3. I wouldn't mind playing against that twice a season.
  4. Sigh...not to beat a dead horse, but this is TAMPERING! Josh Reed is not a free agent, he hasn't been cut, he's a member of the Buffalo Bills! You can't express interest. But nobody in the league gives a flying F--- about that rule.
  5. They should sign Bruce and draft Moss, then release Bryson, Pinner, and K. Jones, permanently fixing them into a 5-wide situation with Rogers, Williams, Williams, Bruce, and Moss. And only call Hail Maries (sp). Because even if they only work once every 6 tries, that's still probably 4 TDs a game.
  6. Isn't this tampering? I mean, unless Bentley was willing to pay for any price they'd offer, the Eagles shouldn't have been able to talk to Bentley at all.
  7. DS? DC? Am I the only one who hasn't heard those before?
  8. Nick Saban's first year as a HC was roughly the same as his new offensive coordinator's, improved only by New England tanking week 17. Let's see what really happens.
  9. The bottom line is this: 2005: no starters 2004: 1 starter (Evans) 2003: 3 starters (!) (McGahee, McGee, Kelsay) 2002: no starters 2001: 2 starters. (Clements, Schobel) There are 22 starting positions on an NFL team. In five years, Donahoe used the draft to nab six of them. SIX!! That's abysmal.
  10. I thought we had bad backup running backs and good linebackers?
  11. The secret plan is actually to release not only Losman, but Holcomb as well. Then bring in an open competition between Couch, Smith, and Cade McNown. Three top-12 picks! That's gotta net a playoff berth.
  12. I don't imagine that that really includes the wide-area marketing the Bills do. If you add Toronto, Rochester, Syracuse, and everything in between, we probably get pretty good numbers. 5 more hockey games at the Blue Cross Arena wouldn't hurt, though.
  13. Didn't we win 9 games a couple of years ago? It's amazing what happens when you're not longer coming-out-of-nowhere.
  14. To Seattle: Brian Moorman To Buffalo: Walter Jones, #31 pick :-D
  15. Najeh Davenport comes to mind in FA. He's a career backup who always had a vague glimmer of starting potential. Likely to come cheap, unless somebody else gets a woody for him.
  16. What about this trade? To the Bills: Ryan Fitzpatrick To the Rams: future considerations Fitzpatrick was a 7th round pick, with a sub-60 rating, ending the season with games of 58, 32, and 45. His last game he went 10/24. These aren't even JP numbers, why would we want someone even more raw? If Fairchild thinks he can be a miracle worker with Fitzpatrick, then bring him in for nothing. Or just wait and grab him after he gets cut in training camp.
  17. Kugler could have remained on the Lions' new staff in some offensive line capacity, he said, and was offered a job as the Buffalo Bills' tight ends coach.
  18. If that played out, and we were exceptionally clever, we might be able to nab a 3rd or 4th from the Lions to swap spots. Cleveland moved from 7 to 6 for the price of a 2nd to get Kellen Winslow, if the Lions get antsy, maybe we could even match that. Then snag D'Brick at #9, and maybe pop back into the late 1st with a DB.
  19. Kelly Holcomb and the Browns made the playoffs in 2002.
  20. The more better prospects there are, the better our options look. Right now, there seem to be seven consensus top picks: Bush, Young, Leinhart, Hawk, Ferguson, Ngata, and Williams. We pick 8th, meaning we could miss out on all of them and take a second-tier prospect. Cutler at worst bumps someone down to us, or even lets us trade the spot to someone who covets him. More prospects, more prospects!
  21. Who knows when this was updated, but evidently Corey is/was the DL coach for the Saints http://www.kcambassadors.com/docs/bios.asp?bio=WaltCorey
  22. Is there seriously any way that this is an ethnicity class? Have you heard of such a thing? My best guess is that someone at CNNSI read Ethics as EthiNcs, and then an editor changed it to ethnicity.
  23. Sometimes, when you do that, you get Dick Jauron.
  24. That's not the most notable list of QBs I've ever heard. Garcia had some good throws to Terrell Owens and Jerry Rice ( I think he was still there), Drew Brees lost his job to Flutie before finally coming back out of nowheere, Jon Kitna is a career backup, and Rex Grossman hasn't played a solid 8 games yet. Whew.
