    Overtime is essentially random - do you think your team can gain two yards in a play more than half the time? Then go for it. On a nice day, it's almost always the smart call. However, you take on 100% of the blame for a loss - rather than passing the buck on to 'non-executing' players. That requires some brass in your jock.

    Nobody was against adding a tall receiver to this offense. Some people didn't like Malcolm Kelly, and others didn't think any of the options were worth the #11 pick. Jauron/Brandon agreed with all those people.

    Given Peters' catching ability, it seems worthwhile to have a few plays this season where he lines up there outside of Chambers or Walker and either just power blocks or is a decoy - or goes out for a pass.

    The Bills need to do something interesting if they want national coverage. You'd think a punter-to-DE fake field goal would do it, but hey, FAVRE!! Honestly, don't worry about it. Read the Buffalo News, visit TBD, and know that if the Bills make the playoffs, Mort and Clayton will say they were fans of Jauron/Levy/Brandon all along.

    Peters doesn't have much to lose. Worst case, he plays out a contract that pays him almost $4M per season. He's not going to get cut, and unless he's really terrible all three years, he'll get another one matching it - or better - when this runs out. And most likely, he'll play well, get a big contract extension from the Bills next spring, and nobody will remember this holdout.
