Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the vaccine about 99.9999% effective at preventing death and like 99.999% at preventing hospitalizations? Isn’t that what matters? Why did the narrative shift to stopping any chance at potential spread? It’s what got us into this mess to begin with. Went from flattening the curve and protecting the vulnerable to crazy protocols for everyday life that were often totally ineffective. I agree with your point about number 2 but people that cannot get the vaccine for medical reasons should be able to determine their own level of comfort for assuming risky activities at this point. Of course like all of this, just my meaningless two cents.

I’ve played since I was 4 and say it’s a dirty play. The fact that he “let up” for a couple strides at the end doesn’t change the fact that he came across the whole ice to head hunt him. Certainly could have done a lot different if he was really trying to stop the potential goal. It’s one of those plays that you can expect to get payback for. And let’s not forget, a penalty was called and he was ejected from the game.

STH passcode for individual ticket sale
billsfanmiamioh replied to richNjoisy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It definitely let me purchase some extras for the opener before my “window” earlier this morning. Am a season ticket holder, had to enter the code. Got it about an hour before it was supposed to go live. -
Depends. There’s a few downtown on the river close to the stadium. I’ve stayed at the crown plaza and they have a water taxi that will take you across the river and drop you at the stadium. Can bring booze too. I prefer to stay over in Jax beach. Usually at the 4 Points oceanfront but have also stayed at the best western there which wasn’t too bad. I plan on going to this game as well.

Drink lots of water, it’s a marathon not a sprint. Hit up some of the unreal eating establishments (love GW fins, Dragos, Felix’s). Last time we were there the swamp & the beach were the Bills fan gathering places. Spent a lot of time there & drank enough to put down an elephant. Make sure to grab some hand grenades, but be careful they go down pretty easy. On a non drinking related suggestion, the WW2 museum was great.

Bills on Thanksgiving again!
billsfanmiamioh replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My wife actually brought up the idea of “taking a break” from hosting thanksgiving at our place, ditching the kid with the grandparents and us two going down for the game. 🤯 -
Sedona is awesome. Did a few days at enchantment resort on the tail end of a west coast trip when my wife was pregnant. Scenery and night sky is unreal. Very spiritual type place (at least was for us)

Oh sorry I forgot. I definitely hit a house too 😬

Well maybe I blocked it out, but it was tighter than I remember. Could have also been the fact I hadn’t swung a club since October....I managed to mix in like 6 pars along with my usual lot of doubles and triples. Wish I could eliminate the disaster holes from my game. Oh well, great week so far. Weather perfect, good food and lots of fun on the beach and pool chasing the kids around. Have the pot for a boil heating up as we speak and the kids will be asleep soon. And we have 2 more days before we’re done so not much to complain about!

Covid vaccination policy for NFL players and staff
billsfanmiamioh replied to WhoTom's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They may be in the minority, but there are people who have legitimate medical and or religious reasons for not getting vaccinated. Like basically everything in life, it’s not always cut and dry. -
Awesome work! St Jude really does amazing things and Jake is certainly proof of that. No other fanbase knows their team like we do. I think we all have a special gift for recalling certain players, games, moments, etc over a vast span of time. Probably because we all care so much. We are close and I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have us all rewarded for all the years of obsession.
