  1. So you’re the a hole that used up all the cheese? 😂 Most of the places around Hamburg were closed so we called Blasdell for a pickup order to take back to the hotel. Couldn’t get a pizza made because they were out of cheese! Got a double order of wings and the 3 slices they still had in the case. It did the trick.
  2. So at the same time, one could also ask if this technology has been around for decades, “why now”? It’s not like vaccine development has been put on hold since for the last few decades. Just as it bugs you that people being up this point, it bugs me that people are looked down on for bringing it up. John’s Hopkins has something on their website that shows the typical timeline for vaccine development. Sounds to me like a lot of the reduction in timeline for this one was consolidation of the clinical trial phases. I get that there is probably a lot of red tape in these things, but reading that the parts designed to ensure safety were “shortened” or done concurrently does not exactly give me any warm fuzzies. I think it would be nuts to not have any reservations at all for something that came out in a year as opposed to 5-10. Remember when the talk of a vaccine came around? Seemed like general consensus was 2-3 years best case scenario. Remember J & J having to pitch a million doses when they found out they were contaminated in the manufacturing process? Ever read the report on that? Covid obviously dictated some extreme measures but I just don’t agree with the “take the shot and shut up” mob mentality. I made the decision to get it and protect myself, I don’t vilify those that didn’t.
  3. Right, and there are mountains of data on those vaccines which actually went through the normal approval process. Why is it so crazy for people to simply have some reservations about something that is essentially a new mode of action and was fast tracked? Especially if they are not in the generally accepted at risk groups?
  4. Probably stemming from the little dweeb county executive. It’s been his vendetta for months, just needed a couple games under the belt to throw the lack of mask compliance in the teams face and I’m sure threaten capacity restrictions or something.
  5. That actually makes some sense so we definitely can’t do that around here.
  6. That part of the new “policy” is total BS. Flip the script after 1 game then you lose seniority if you want the refund? That’s a joke.
  7. Well wouldn’t that stand to reason since the vaxed are getting tested one every two weeks or whatever and unvaxed a lot more often?
  8. How so? It’s never going to end. Vaccinated still spread.
  9. Sounds like you should have stayed home. What did you honestly expect it to be like?
  10. I heard that live it was great. Sal lost his ***** (with good reason)
  11. I hate everything
  12. Been here in the hotel tossing & turning since around 330 am. I’m basically JA17
  13. Why do you care if someone does not get vaccinated? People who are able to get the jab have had ample chance to protect themselves at this point. And it’s clear that the vaccinated still spread covid. So why the continued obsession and vilification of the unvaxed? On and I’m vaccinated by the way. I’m supposed to do that right? So you think I’m only misguided not deranged?
  14. I had some there in June and they were still great. It was like a random Wednesday night though and not very busy.
  15. Someone over there must like Chevelle, because the out of the tunnel song a number of years ago was “Slleep Apnea” and recently (maybe even still in 2019) was “An Island”.
  16. Smallest nfl stadium for the smallest market? The horror!
  17. Had my first bar bill experience after the game Sunday (had to wait a bit over an hour for a table). These are what I had and they were phenomenal. Bar Bill and Gabriel’s gate are my 1A and 1B now. I haven’t tried 911 yet but will sometime this season
  18. Too bad, definitely liked him and his writing.
  19. No I hear you, I just disagree. I feel like it probably will end up a newer, lightly spruced up version of the current generic type facility. But I think that’s probably what the majority of people want. Could there be all kinds of other pre game shiny stuff outside and around the stadium? Of course. I just think that after the initial honeymoon period, everyone goes back to their weekly routine. Same lot, same group, etc. I’d be in that camp. If I want to go to a festival or a street fair I will, I’m there for a football game.
  20. I get what you’re saying but I just don’t see it. People from WNY (I’m one of em) are kinda set in their ways and reluctant to major changes. A new stadium on the old site with modest price increases I think people would accept. I just don’t think the economics work in Buffalo for some kind of big downtown extravaganza where food & booze are super pricey, tailgating is limited, etc. It’s not our vibe, let someone else have it. Not to mention, I still haven’t ever really seen a viable solution to the traffic nightmare it would be. Sabres games suck for that and we’re talking what 1/4 of the cars? Anyone that thinks it’s bad at the stadium now would be in the looney bin if it was downtown.
  21. Why? So it can be like Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Nashville, Etc? Been to lots of downtown stadiums and they’re fun for a day but there are very few places (if any) like OP for a game day experience. People I’ve brought with me that have only known “downtown” stadiums are always blown away and jealous we get to do it 8 (or 9) times per year.
