    Consistency is definitely the differentiator.

Allen’s high is higher than anyone, but he doesn’t have the same baseline Mahomes has week to week.

It’s also true that Mahomes has had better coaching, protection and weapons than Allen every year.

Bills have had a top offense for like the last few years. And Mahomes just won with an offense where only Kelce scares you.

So are we supposed to overlook his Homelander act as football czar with the Texans.

The Bills would need to triple the doorways widths at OBD to let his ego pass through. Doesn't play well in the sandbox or with others.  Legendary dust ups with Brady and JJ Watt - a couple of first ballot HOFers.   Not to mention a couple 21 point losses in divisional round as flags on his resume.

His offense at Houston was always rated in mid teens even with Watson.  Easy pass for me.

There's a difference in being a coordinator than being a head coach who makes personnel decisions. He f'ed up that organization bad, but he did take and won a playoff game with them as well.

The NFL needs to cancel or postpone this weekend. There is no way the Bills or even Cincinnati will be able to concentrate on practicing let alone play a game.

I agree and nor should the BIlls, Cincy or any team, coach or player be focusing on the games right now, i understand its a business and they have to conduct business but IMO until that young man can make a full recovery or at least get an update toward the positive. i think it would be best to put things on hold at least until next week. Things are still very serious right now.

You are probably right! A very dumb rule! It is what it is, I will take the positive move forward by Mac in this game.. that was such a beautiful pass and Henry didn’t have to do the stretch as he already broke the plain.. but hey 388 yards and 2 TDS a damn good move forward for the QB.

That's what i took from the game too. Mac look real good. I am ok with the results if he is gonna be able to play that well moving forward.

Every single fan base feels that they get screwed over by the refs and have conspiratorial thoughts about why the NFL doesn't want them to win.  The fact of the matter is that refs make mistakes and there's negative and positive variance within that.

Don't use this logic here, that's not what the internet is for

Lol lots of "loaded" teams don't make super bowls year after year. Super Bowls are extremely hard to win. And frankly they aren't won just by being "loaded".

The Bills are also "loaded" right now. If we win the Super Bowl does that discredit Josh Allen because his team was loaded? Bet you'd be the first one defending him when the haters come. Same goes with any qb, including Brady.

The point was Brady didn't go to the lions and win a SB for all the "Oh it was Brady not bb" crowd. He went to a team that was talented enough on both side of the ball, they just needed a QB to not turnover the ball.

Brady wasn't that hot in his last SB w N.E. and he wasn't too hot in the NFC championship game either. He benefitted just as BB benefitted. That's typical how it goes in football but some fans to silly to admit that.

Like so many coaches, he probably thought success was based on scheme and not players. In some regard, the Pats success with only a single long-term superstar was largely based on BB’s scheme. However, as in most of the coaches cases, if you don’t have the horses, you’ll lose the race.

…at the end of the day, coaches will eventually outsmart themselves.

    Well said.

Go to GamePass and tell me what you see. Maybe he had sunscreen in his eyes-- that might help explain his utterly awkward incompletions.

And btw-- that high-arcing, long hang-time lob to Agholor is exactly the kind of pass that earned Micah Hyde a highlight reel interception in the Pats* wildcard round beatdown. That was Jones' calling card in college, and it might fly against a Panthers' second string corner in single man coverage, but it's not going to go so well in the regular season.

I hope we see more passes like that this season!

    Utter awkward incompletion!? Ha ha

micro- analyzing a QB thats not even your own in a preseason game..I tell ya

like we still fixated on that interception throw Micah Hyda picked off. It was a good throw just a better defensive play but....

Nobody anywhere is even Talking about anymore..

  9. 54 minutes ago, Rocky Landing said:

So, I watched the Panthers at Pats* last night, and I'm pretty sure I saw this:

Mac & Cheese played in three series-- all against the the Panthers' second string, I believe. In his first two series, they went three and out, and looked like warm dog poo. At the end of the second series, after throwing a truly terrible seven-yard incompletion, I do believe Jones walked back to the sideline crying. Literally wiping away tears. Did anyone else see this? I'm not even sure what to make of it.

    Ha ha wow! 😂

He was not crying...are we serious w this? Not the QB can't handle a preseason offense series now...ha ha

And I see how you left out his 45/46yr bomb to Alghor on his 3rd series of his 1st preseason game for the season, but ok.

Im referring to ***** like this.  You are a guest in our house.  Have a little respect.  Most of your posts are confrontational.  There are other pats fans that come here and I dont mind them.  They are actually pretty cool to talk to.  You however have been kind of a douche since day one.  That and I dont really understand why you come here.  I get coming to talk trash back and forth maybe on game weeks but like??  Does your board not have any people to talk to or something?

You being a little sensitive if that one comment bothers you. Really?

I been here over a year can't say I said anything bad about the bills franchise so 🤷🏿

And I'm pretty mild compared to what i have read here... you can always ignore me if you are that bothered.

Do you come here just to argue?  I can't recall a post from you where you came here just to discuss.  It seems like you always come here to argue.  What is wrong with your own forums?  Why are you here? Come back during Pats week if you want to argue.

Why are u concern about what I am doing especially when

    1. I am actually agreeing w a poster in one post and discussing the actual premise of the thread

And 2. replying back to another one, who replied to me??

    I see no arguing.

You guys should’ve signed him.  He’s be your best WR by far.  I mean, you traded for an always injured WR that can’t get separation and paid two average TE 15M each.  Julio would’ve made a ton of sense.

unfortunately, he wouldn’t want to play with Macnchz.  Too noodley.

BB signs who he wants to sign n the last time I checked, NE took care of Julio at the top of his game. so nobody cares if he wants to play for NE or not.

I live in Mass, and we should all know per the media Macbutterbean has put on 20 lbs of muscle, his testosterone is off the charts, he’s 3 inches taller, and his mental processing is up 2000%.  his accuracy is now 95% sideline to sideline.  He is #17 on steroids.   Fear him, and fear him now!

no need for offensive coordination because he is all that is needed.

I live in Mass as well and I have heard no fan or local media exaggerate like this??

Are u gonna sit here n tell me u heard it from ESPN?

My obsession?  How many times have you responded now?

It's a slow off-season.  This is football.  Julio's success is directly tied to his QB.   Why wouldn't Brady be a big part of this discussion?

Julio's past 2 years have been marred by injury not by poor play, as you're suggesting.  You'll see.

I agree with you. It's not like Julio is having Jameson Winston throwing him the ball, on top of the fact the bucs still have other options so Julio doesn't have to do too much..

dying laughing at posters making comments of the QBs age or claiming the wide out is done like the QB just didn't win a SB 2 years ago...with tight end that missed a couple of years of playing and was injured prone in Gronk.

If Julio is in the right situation he can come up.big for them when they most need it. That's all they need. Don't need him to have 10 catches for 100 plus yards

Eh, I'm mostly just having fun, but while you're here, as someone who probably follows the depth more than any of us how's the preseason game actually going for you?

They didn't/don't  look like dawg sh*t today. And me as well as everyone is expecting it..overall it's preseason..so I can't put too much into anything.

I am waiting for the season so I can yell n scream wondering why the f did BB bring back Matt Pratricia!

I am just glad football is back on my TV..can't wait to this weekend so I can see all the teams replays from their own games.

See the deal is you have literally no idea of what Bills fans have suffered through with the drought and NE Dynasty.

You'll get sympathy from some Bills fans when you lose twice to the Bills every year and finally make the playoffs again in 2039.

    2039.

Don't overreact and reply too quickly.  Read carefully what I posted and let it sink in.

See your first mistake is you thinking I am looking for sympathy..

    Sympathy for what??

What is this obsession with Mac Jones?

Patriots success hunts alot of Bills fans. And every year they can't win a ring the Patriots will stay in some bills fans souls

You're asking the same group of people who downplayed Brady for nearly 20 years (and still try to excuse away his SB wins) if they're now worried about Mac Jones?😂

Not trying to be mean, but the majority of us Bills fans aren't going to acknowledge another AFC East QB while the Bills are atop the division. Just ain't happening.

For reference, us fans (I include myself in this) were often way too optimistic when we sucked... Now that we're good, fans are overly cocky instead. And even if I don't want to be that way, we have a QB that can give us a chance to beat ANYBODY any given Sunday, so it's hard not to be.

When NE did it..we were "ignorant scumbags" according to other fans.

Rams looked like they were about to win a blowout in the SB. Then the injuries started.

If Burrow had another 1-2 seconds and saw Chase wide open on that 4th down at the end of this SB then the Bengals are World Champs.

Just have to get into that game, and anything truly can happen. A timely penalty, a guy falling down, a bounce here or there and your entire legacy changes.

While I do agree anything can happen. Your QB still has to be talented enough to make it there and help win it.
