Every team had aging players here and there. Obviously 53 spots to fill. But overall the pats are pretty young on defense. They got younger back 2020 in the draft. And every team is different and what every coach is looking for is different as well. Harbaugh/ BB will look for a already made roster. There are other coaches who will look for a good situations/ good ownership. And there will be coaches just happy to have a job. The Patriots are a good situation from the stand point that they have a top pick and cap space amd good ownership. That is perfect for a younger coach to come in and make it their team. Plus Varbel has already expressed interest in coaching for the Patriots.

Please point to where is the aging at exactly? Their top corner who looks to be a stand out is/was a rookie Christian Barmore their D-end who came on the last few games was drafted in 21 Kevion white another D-end Was drafted in 2023 Jabril peppers 28yr Kyle Dugger strong Stafety drafted 2020(27yr) Josh Uche LB. Drafted 20. (25 yes old) Not going to go through the whole roster, that would be wild, but went through some noticeably names on defense just now.

That defense is not aging. Vrabel has already said he wants to coach in NE.(should they choose him) And a top 3 pick is still a top 3 pick.

They have a top pick and plenty of cap space.

Why is it so hard for fans to admit reality?

It's funny reading this thread. If another team gets so much as a 1st down, about 90 percent of this board wants to fire the whole team. Win yesterday's game, now the irrational wants to act rational..lol -
The Bills are done, stick a fork in them

I get where you are coming from...but you move on from Allen and it would be another 50 years hoping for a championship.. I think people need to chill from jumping off that ledge bit... Still got like 8 games left despite what you are seeing...the Bills are still very dangerous... -

From a fan of your rivals. The Patriots. I give you all the credit in the world for willing to come with this opinion against your fellow mafia brethren. But I can say, Josh Allen is a generational talent. A once in a life time thing...you don't just get rid of that in such a short time, championship or not. You tweak everything around him, but you do not give up on that type of talent too soon. That's just crazy, something that would get you fired in a heart beat if you were a GM. -

Mike Vick at Bills practice and the nfl script release
Ghost_002! replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kind of shocked by how negative people are against Mike Vick. I would say. To each his own, but this doesn't have a negative reflection on the bills cause most people never condone his behavior but clearly understood he has been a changed man for over 20 years now. And your coach, GM etc who are thought to be a good judge of character have no issue with bring In Mike Vick, so that should tell you a whole lot. And kind of offended someone who doesn't know Mike Vick at all called him "ghetto", really?? -
Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)
Ghost_002! replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cause he wants to play overall..he can sign a 1 year deal, ball out and get what he wants next year. This has been the same for years. A player says what he wants, he doesn't get it, then he goes to the next step, take what's out there in hope of trying again in free agency next year. Again..no other team is offering him anything. If someone goes down. Then he is in business. Right now only the pats, titans n chiefs have kept in talks w him. The chiefs do not have the money that's why they haven't offer him anythin, but they are still in talks w him. Ik for sure BB already said he would sign Dhop, but only 9n his(BB) terms and also there is a understanding there is no rush for him to sign w anyone, but he left on good terms w everyone he has visited. -

Might as well seeing the front offices of better QBs aren't doing anything... I mean he is out there right? And yet no contenders have even offered him the league minimum... -

The Patriots hasn't offer him what he is looking for either. No teams has. It's already been reported of the two teams, especially the Patriots they are not in a rush for him to make a decision. Barring any major Injury to another teams wide out group. It's between Tenn n NE. -
GOAT debate related to era Montana vs Brady
Ghost_002! replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Couple things to add to this debate. Although there are those who like to bring up Montana and other players playing in rougher era. It's not true The rule changes as we know of today happening AFTER Brady's 18-1 season. Brady had already won multiple championships by then and you could still beat the f out of the QB back then....(remember bountygate and what the saints did to manning) And i know anyone with any sense is not really using the "cheating" thing as a point..but before you think the 9ers were clean...Montana, and even Jerry Rice already admit Rice and Montana's lineman used "stickem" during their SB runs... And really people gotta stop bring up different eras...although the athletes are more advance now, cause naturally humans have evolved. All these players were still special no matter what era they were in. No regular joe could of played in any era. The athletes were superior in both mind and body....so my point, Brady would of been completely fine had they not changed the rules..because he would of adjusted. Just like Montana or a "mean joe" green would of been fine in this era. -
Ben Coats Daniel Graham ha ha..True meaning of motherf**ker.
-
That's when the "specials elite" player comes out. like said, Burrow weet to a SB with a bad line (not to say they shouldn't upgrade at their OL if it s truly a problem), crap the eagles when into the SB running a damn high school offense, Brady documented had an average receivers in his SB runs with the pats....and a lot of what Mahomes does is because of the player he is. yea Reid helps here and there but Mahomes executes that is not saying Allen does not, and Allen has on many occasions showed it's Allen on this team and everyone else..but can't keep blaming coaches when it doesnt work for you. Elite players over come that most time..

Excellent analyzation!
-
Cause what?? Zach Wison has physicay better tools than Mac and Mac's still the better QB. I hear all this talk about Tua and had he stayed healthy toward the end of last season, the fins would of been a threat. Especially with the two wide outs they have. And plz let's not compare him to Allen, Rodgers, Barrow, etc...we clearly know he is not on that level...

How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?
Ghost_002! replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
So in the end, is this thread saying the Bills don't got next then?
