  1. I think we all understand that Bosa has an injury history, but thanks for pointing it out anyway. The point I was making is that this is meaningless to his ability to be ready and meaningless as far as anything concerning the regular season. If there is an injury at all it is likely equivalent to a scratch, like Smith’s every year pre season injury. It’s an excuse for his non participation, which is not needed anyway at this time.
  2. This is such a non story. For a point of reference, after his first few years, Bruce Smith literally never had an off season/training camp where he did not have an “injury” excusing his non participation. Joey Bosa does not need the physical reps. I would actually be questioning the sanity of the Bills coaches if they did not put Bosa firmly on the sideline until such time as his participation would actually be productive, which is certainly not before training camp.
  3. I agree with your take on the storylines, but I think the Cook situation could also be on the table. While interesting, blowing it up in public would be bad. Hope I am just being paranoid.
  4. With you on the steak. No way on the wings.
  5. I would rather have Epenesa than Von at this point without question.
  6. He needs something between his ears but I am not sure it’s peace. Good luck to him, but I would not expect much if I were a Cowboys fan.
  7. First of all, this is just click bait speculation by the “writer”. Second, I am not sure how it would be bad news for the Bills. I am pretty certain that the bills OL is intimately familiar with all his moves and he no longer has the pure speed around the corner to threaten. Have at it Baltimore, but I doubt it.
  8. Hate it. Major distraction in a critical season. Just going to have to trust that McDermott can get them through it without major downside.
  9. Well, at least that’s the right conversation.
  10. It is useless to compare the two. If you want to make a case that the Bills should have drafted McConkey, then compare him to Shakir and make that argument. Coleman has a completely different role, unless someone wants to argue that McConkey could play the X which is the position the Bills were trying to fill with that pick.
  11. They play different positions, but don’t let that stop you.
  12. Sounds like a bargain. https://www.instagram.com/p/DJqC8-fztxS/
  13. Poyer was a great Bill! A playmaker at Safety, team player, 100% effort kind of guy. Perennially underpaid, but was never a distraction over it. I would like nothing better than for him to retire a Bill.
  14. Beane and McDermott in fact both praised his work ethic. That is certainly not his issue.
  15. The Bills should have absolutely no interest in this guy at this point. He is not good enough to crack their top 5 and there are better developmental and special teams options. Frankly, I was glad he was gone - very unreliable. Despite some opinions, there are teams with much weaker WR depth than the Bills who would be happy to give him a vet minimum try.
  16. Lewis is the primary backup to Johnson at Nickel. They clearly brought in competition, but I would be surprised if a fifth round rookie shows enough to warrant dumping Lewis quite yet. If they can improve then, great, but it’s a long shot year one.
  17. Agree. Jeremy and his little pal have been acting like they survived an assassination attempt all week.
  18. I agree - very different players but playing a very similar role, minus the special teams. Had Coleman continued to improve after his injury, Hollins role on the field would have been continually reduced. He took on more than his share because Coleman hit a wall. He is a more talented player than Hollins. He will be expected to start living up to his draft position this year. Who will pick up Hollins ST role is a more apt question. It’s a big challenge for the young man but it is now or never.
  19. Moore is not an X receiver. No way. Coleman plays. Exactly right. I loved that he put those two clowns in their place.
  20. Agree. The choice is not going to between those two. More like Shenault vs. Codrington. It is Moore vs the practice squad scrubs the Bills already have for spot 5. He is not likely to lose that but I guess we will see.
  21. They are very different players with different skill sets obviously. If Coleman gets up to speed, they will not miss Hollins in the least.
  22. Moore said previously that he and the Bills have been talking on and off for some time. The plan was to wait until after the draft. Personally, I prefer this option right now for a team chasing a championship. A known quantity with upside vs a developmental draft project in the 4th or 5th round.
  23. What is the over/under I wonder on how many threads you will start pounding the same tired point?
  24. He carries a $25m cap hit this year. Are they going to pay him with cookies? The Bills do not have the cap room or flexibility to afford this, even if they wanted to.
