Cover 1- Why And How Miami Gashed The Bills In The Run Game
FLFan replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Miami is not a typical 2-6 team as you well know. Without Tua, they were not competitive. With him, their offense is very good. At the same time, but for a fluke interception and two bogus holding calls that game is not that close. Yes, I am very satisfied with that win. On the rushing angst, they kept Miamis big playmakers from making big plays, which was the point. -
Bills signing Quinton Jefferson; Update..AND Jordan Phillips
FLFan replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Phillips is 60 pounds and several years away from being that player. He is a shell of what he was in his glory days with the Bills. He was a shell, albeit a fat one, in his last stint here. More of a guy who is just going to hopefully clog up a lane now. -
True enough. However, he was also guilty of headhunting in at least two plays I recall from the first game. I am not sure if a suspension is warranted, but that hit was cheap and in my view, given the history from the other game, not unintentional.

It has every relevance to this topic. Focus on the “ struggle” of the Bills run defense is missing the point. -
Cover 1- Why And How Miami Gashed The Bills In The Run Game

Meanwhile, the Bills averaged more yards per run than Miami did, yet we are not talking about how the Bills run game “gashed” the Dolphins. Bottom line: the Bills game plan worked and they won. The rest is noise.- 73 replies

Waddle injured then returned on the very next play
FLFan replied to hammer2427's topic in The Stadium Wall
It did not look that serious. It looked like he was being a baby. -
This is the kind of “leadership” you get from a Mike McDaniels coached team. Exactly none.

Week 9 - Dolphins at Bills Game Week Thread
FLFan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Codrington has been very solid. He made a mistake in judgement on Sunday which he is not likely to make again. -
Josh and Hailee had a Halloween Party in OP. (Just Fluff)
FLFan replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally, I think it was simpler than that. She wanted a ring and he was not interested in that. It’s the simplest explanation. I can’t say I really care either way though. -

Thanks SDS for your effort in noting his passing. He is missed.

Tuesday is their day off. -
I loved Trey here in his prime. Great player. However, he has suffered two back to back devastating injuries and has barely played the past three years. He is currently not good enough to make the game day roster for one of the worst teams in the league. He would not be in the top 4 outside corners here. People need to move on. It is unfortunate but he is done.

This is a really silly argument. Sorry, but it just is. Feel free to be a Jets fan and haunt their board if you are so impressed with their decisiveness.

So about the refs tonight UPDATE: Rams game discussion on page 14
FLFan replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, much as I hate to, I have to give him props for this. He was smiling and shaking his head after that play. -
All this means is that McD controls he game day roster and he is not going to declare who is in and who is out before he has to, particularly before he has even seen the player practice yet. I think Cook’s agent learned this the hard way on Monday night. I am not sure why anyone has an issue with this. Not everything is some sort of controversy or conspiracy.

It’s nice that his agent thinks so, but it’s not up to him or Cook.

Week 6, Bills v. NJ Jest, PREDICT THE SCORE!

Bills 3, Jests 2 -
I am really bummed that the Jests fired Saleh. He was reliably bad enough at his job that it was always possible he would just hand you the game, and the dysfunction was priceless. Now, who knows.

It’s not that I think Josh Allen was not due some criticism for his performance against Houston, but I did not find this analysis from Simms particularly helpful or insightful. Still pictures? Really? How about we evaluate the whole play. I can drawer any conclusions I want from a still picture frame at a point in time. Apparently so can Chris Simms. He should do better.

The Jets are the very definition of disfunction. Thanks Jets.
