  1. Payback is a B word. Bills will roll them tonight.
  2. Please tell me your are not faculty at SUNY Amherst. I would totally have to recalibrate my respect for the university.
  3. No, you are wrong about that.
  4. There is no precedent or moving games due to a perfectly normal weather event that is actually expected tp be in play when they make the schedule. This is entirely different from a from a freak occurrence of 7 Feet of snow, accompanying travel restrictions, and severe danger to players, coaches, opposing team, and fans with respect to staging a game. It seems a pretty clear distinction. NFL games have been played many times, in Buffalo and elsewhere, with conditions every bit as bad or worse than predicted for Orchard Park Saturday night.
  5. I guess you think Allen was "bad" last week. I do not. One or two passes that got away from him, half a dozen drops, and two touchdowns. He was efficient, did not turn the ball over, and we actually won the game, if that counts for anything. I thought he had a very good game, despite the lack of gaudy stats.
  6. Ok then. Keep a stiff upper lip young man, but I am not buying the lack of concern. Yeah. He is full of shite. It is in his already.
  7. Clown he is. Doogie Howser, Head Coach. (He also reminds me of Howdy Doody, but that may be way to old school for most people here.)
  8. James Lofton looks pretty fit despite the gray hair.
  9. I am not sure the Cardinals are a bigger train wreck with or without Murray. They should be able to find a decent fill in this offseason and figure it out from there. It might be an opportunity to get some actual leadership at that position and an offensive design that can actually be executed. Then again, Kliff Kingsbury is an idiot, so there is that.
  10. Hopefully, this is the final nail in Sullivan's local sports journalism career. I thought he actually reformed for a while and had gone back to actual sports reporting and balanced analysis, but he just could not help himself and reverted to his stir up controversy where none exists and be a general pain in the butt approach. Last chance I feel pretty sure.
  11. Thats not being "cancelled". That is being fired for embarrassing your employer. It happens all the time.
  12. Yes. I keep reading in this thread and many others that the Bills are somehow deficient in third down conversions. Just not true. They have literally led the league all year. They only gave up the lead in this category, barely, to KC after an admittedly dismal performance last week (15%!). That had everything to do with the much talked about drops last week and a tough Jets defense, and was a total anomaly. Some facts here here in case anyone is interested in those. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/third-down-conversion-pct
  13. Or Fubu. Not sure if Hulu offers a free trial anymore.
  14. I am not. He is just not very good, and was not very good for the back half of last year at least. I watched the two games he played in Tampa. He was awful. Sadly many people are more in love with their idea of Beasley than the facts.
  15. I think you are right, but there is no amount of evidence that will convince his fans of that. It stinks of desperation to me, as did the Brown signing. I hope I am wrong.
  16. The next Bailey Zappe.
  17. No kidding. Wilson is listed at 5’11” and he towers over him.
  18. I guess you missed the sarcasm, being so anxious to agree with the sentiments.
  19. The Chargers defenses is not at full strength but still good enough to plan and execute a lock down on Tua. The point is that Tua was never “best in the league” or a real MVP candidate, despite the breathless assertions otherwise.
  20. Tua is finally facing real real defenses and is being exposed, as is that entire mediocre team.
  21. He wears them to look more grown up.
  22. For the season he has 19 carries for an average of 3.8 yards per carry. I think we are just fine without that production.
  23. Agreed. It was supposed to be Davis, as he had shown in the past, but this year, not so much ....
  24. Agreed. That was supposed to be Crowder, but unfortunately he was hurt. MacKenzie was never going to be that guy, and unsurprisingly, the 5th round draft choice is not up to it yet. It is a problem. The running backs have simply not been able to take up the slack.
  25. Sadly, it is largely unbearable most of the time now, but especially right after games. We have been invaded by an army of bandwagon fans that do not have a clue, plus the usual contingent of posters who are just miserable. Enjoy the ride, or what’s the point.
