  1. There are going to be many shocked and sad Bills fans next year when they come to the realization that: 1. Other teams value Edmunds very highly. 2. The Bills will struggle to replace him, leaving a major hole in this defense. I am sure the Beane and company would love to retain him but I doubt that will be feasible given the Bills cap limitation and the contract inflation going on.
  2. Just a random thought - The best thing about the announcement that Tua will not play is that we are spared a week's worth of incessent whining about the the great Miami offense and weapons and the Bills inability to contain them, and the constant ball washing of Mike McDaniel, Boy Genius coming from the national media and the self loathing Bills fans around here. Perhaps we can all just relax and enjoy the butt whipping to come. There will be plenty of time come Sunday night to twist our collective panties into a knot over the juggernaut known as the Bengals.
  3. Romo is a competent analyst, although he can certainly be annoying a times. One of the few good ones. Far better than Troy Aikman, for example, or Chris Collinsworth.
  4. Kliff Kingsbury kanned! Kalamity kry kiddies!
  5. Yes, there was a defender wrapped around his lower legs preventing completion of the throw. This was obviously the reason for the poor pass.
  6. Lack of consistent pressure today was an issue and left Jones with way too much time which made the pass defense appear poor. There were times he was standing there for 5 seconds and more with no pressure at all. Also, Marlow looked lost out there. it was a huge problem. Yet despite this, the defense recorded 3 interceptions and held them to under 250 yards passing. we won by two touchdowns. i expect with a full week of preparations and less of a running on pure emotion approach, The Bills D will be just fine, although replacing Hamlin does concern me.
  7. With Indy and Detroit out, Atlanta becomes the best location. It’s neutral, an NFC city, indoors, easy to get to, time zone friendly and seems available. New Orleans maybe? They could play outdoors, potentially in AZ, but that seems like a more difficult road.
  8. I think it is at least likely, if not probable, that Miami loses to the Jets. Who is playing QB for the Dolphins? The Jets D will handle them. 13 - 3 Jets.
  9. If the Bills win, any game against the Bengals will be in Buffako, so yes, pretty important.
  10. I totally agree - we have numerous ridiculous threads every day that should not be started and should not remain open. Any order that can be applied to reduce that number, such as limiting head coach firings threads, is much appreciated.
  11. I do not see how we can conclude he is a good coach based on the collapse of the team down the stretch and the gross incompetence displayed in the mismanagement of Tua’s head injuries. That alone speaks to his immaturity and lack of leadership. He could not out coach McDermott on his best day and did not in either game.
  12. That is exactly what it looks like - attempt to injure Allen and he succeeded. Even that was not as blatant or hideous as Hurst lowering his head and launching himself at Taron Johnson’s head as he lay prone on the ground, giving him a concussion. Both plays should have been flagged at the time, and I believe, given different circumstances, both would be under review by the league for potential discipline.
  13. He has never played safety. They are ni5 going to teach him a new position at this point in the year. Mayden has already been with the team.
  14. I could see the Bills not caring about a forfeit at this point, but the Patriots are in a win and in situation. The Dolphins and Steelers are also still alive for that spot and need NE to play and lose. The game will be played.
  15. No, and he did not die on the field. As bad as it was, it was not as bad as this.
  16. I hope the mods are paying attention. This fool and a couple of others should get the boot. No need for them to be part of this community.
  17. Young’s response to that was “yeah, but, it’s where they are” and then they proceeded to show every red zone interception he has thrown. All 4 of them. It’s so weak and so many people, including many posters here, buy into it.
  18. What a warrior. Proud he is on the Bills.
  19. Beat me to it. 👍
  20. So he is haunting Twitter now? Good place for him.
  21. Simms’ take is at best hyperbolic and worst just ignorant. Trey is not 100% but he mad some excellent plays against both Miami and Chicago. His skill shines through even less than 100%.
  22. Yes, and is this not really the more essential point than how many catches and yards the Bengals receivers have over how many less games? The Bills are the better team by virtually every objective measure, and have in my opinion at least, by far the better QB. Its a valid point, but in my opinion, it is about overall production at the end of the day. The Bills offense has been more productive overall YTD. They are talented. Great. 11/4 vs 12/3. 11/5 vs 13/3 come Tuesday morning.
  23. Exactly. The Bills will most likely play almost, if not exclusively zone. 3 man rush and 8 in coverage has been very successful against Burrow at limiting big plays and limiting his completion percentage, so I expect to see some of that. I would not be surprised if Burrow throws for 400 yards and still loses the game by two scores.
  24. Interesting. I guess the Bills weapons don’t suck after all.
