  1. Nothing will end it at this point, I just hope he does give the media any more BS to speculate on.
  2. FYI there is already another thread open with updates from camp which is five pages already. The answer to the returner question, for example, is already there.
  3. I hope all he has to say is that was an internal issue, it’s resolved and the details are nobody’s business.
  4. I am not writing the guy off. Second year in a system with decent coaching and better weapons, we’ll see. I am writing Beasley off though.
  5. That may be, but his 6.8 yards per attempt in 2022, good for 24th in the league, would argue against the effectiveness of that ability. Cole Beasley will not help that stat, which is the point.
  6. I appreciate Beasleys accomplishments for two years here that were outstanding and integral to their success. I also appreciate that in 2021 he looked on the decline and they were right to move in from him, especially given his continued distraction. He made one significant play in his redux here last year and other than that was immaterial to detrimental. Even given his less than stellar showing in limited action here he could not help himself in trashing the Bills this offseason. I could not care less what happens to him at this point. Good luck to the Giants. One advantage I suppose is is that Daniel Jones’ effective range of about 4 yards from scrimmage fits in with Beasleys geriatric skill set quite well.
  7. Perhaps, but only slightly. It seems to me that he is modeling himself after Schopp pretty closely and becoming almost as much of a bore. He even has his own yes man flunky now.
  8. They could be better than last year, but I think people are generally overestimating the “Fangio miracle” that is about to occur in Miami. A reading of his record as a DC does not support some massive improvement due to his presence. He had one year of success in Chicago, and a nice run in SF, but other than that his record is unimpressive. SF was 9 years ago. Just saying. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/FangVi0.htm
  9. I think this is more likely than not. He has not impressed me as a leader. I guess we will see now that QB excuse has been taken away, but implosion of the Jets at the first sign of trouble would not at all surprise me. The Bills are still the class of the division until somebody proves otherwise. 13 wins is a realistic target. 11 or 12 would not shock me, nor will it cost them the division in my opinion.
  10. I am not sure he was first. I tuned in WGR the morning (I know, first mistake) and Jeremy White’s stooge (Nate Geary?) was making a big deal about this. I turned it in again three hours later and was still incredulous about it. You and everyone else needs to start ignoring this horrid, useless, arrogant for no reason troll who calls himself a genius and is anything but.
  11. Yes, they do, and Jets are the new darlings so I expect every break to go to Sauce again.
  12. Exactly. As the owners have stated, their expectations, for both the Bills and Sabres, are sustainable success with an opportunity to win championships. Beane and McDermott have done that. Adams and Granato are building the same way. They want to win championships, but I think it is highly unlikely that Terry Pegula abandons the goal of sustainable success based on whim, or short term disappointment, or certainly fan expectations. Their time will come.
  13. Yes, and despite the lurking lynch mob among the fans, they are universally respected among their peers. So much so, for example, that the Giants are trying to replicate the Bills success utilizing key lieutenants and process and approaches implemented by the Bills. Neither would be unemployed very long if Pegula decided to fire them. They have earned a great deal of rope with the Pegulas and I doubt seriously whether this is even a conversation they would entertain for at least two more years, but as you say, likely much longer, unless a total disaster would happen.
  14. Only if you also post your IQ score.
  15. More baseless speculation. He actually even refers to the Volin article, itself an exercise in baseless speculation. Training camp cannot get here fast enough.
  16. Unsurprisingly, there is a great deal of whining about your post.
  17. It would be a rare organization indeed where senior managers did not hire people they know and trust for key positions when possible and warranted. In fact, said managers would be fools for not doing so.
  18. but Saleh is a genius!
  19. The real question here is who care what Beasley thinks, about anything? At this point he is like a pimple that just won’t go away.
  20. No it’s not hard to figure out. You just ignored the point, but onward.
  21. This is actually hilarious. Sal C is not employed to provide objective analysis. He is employed to provide a fans perspective on the Bills based on his football knowledge and somewhat limited journalistic skills. He makes no bones about his fandom. He wears it on his sleeve. I actually find his reporting insightful at times and useful in understanding what is going in behind the scenes and anticipating moves the Bills might make, what they are thinking, etc. Why? The team and the players trust him with access. Every team and market has at least one guy just like this. If it is so called objective and critical analysis you are looking for, there are plenty of options nationally and , yes, also in the local media, whom are not all captive to the Bills. You can just check in here as well where there is certainly no shortage of people trying to sell you their opinions as objective facts. If you are expecting Sal to join the fire McBean chorus, for example, you are barking up the wrong tree.
  22. Exactly. At this point people are running with totally unfounded salacious rumors as if they are fact. They should check out of this thread and turn on The View.
