  1. No thanks. There is no evidence to suggest he would be more than mediocre in the NFL at this point. He has been away a long time. He is not exactly a modern day offense type thinker, and if you watch Michigan you will note a decided lack of agressiveness in game management which is what everyone is worked up about with McD. I would not trust my $250m QB to Jim Harbaugh. Pass, as if this is even a remote possibility.
  2. Also, Hurts had two turnovers in that game which also impacted the score. You are right about the “analysis” that you responded to being disingenuous at best.
  3. This is simply more self aggrandizement and attention seeking from the narcissistic Rogers. If he plays another game, it will be next September.
  4. Why is it a mystery on who would be making the call? Terry Pegula is head of the organization and the owner. There is absolutely nothing that would indicate he is not the primary decision maker. McDermott reports to him directly. This is not a mystery. Some people seem to need to create confusion where none exists.
  5. That was the worst officiated half of football I have ever seen. Kudos to the Bills for fighting through it to a 10 point lead, but the lead should be larger. The Bills absolutely dominated that first half.
  6. I have Indy and Tampa so I am watching Red Zone.
  7. You are probably right about that, but Miami did everything possible to hand that game last week to the Raiders and their total offensive incompetence prevented an upset victory. KC has a much better D than Miami. I can’t see Hoyer being much of an upgrade over that chump they played last week. This has been a strange year though ….. I think we are on the same page. I was just suggesting I certainly hope the Bills do not take that approach.
  8. The Eagles have the least rushes against in the league. Teams are passing on them, sometimes because they are behind but also because the Eagles are more vulnerable there. I think the Bills can and will rush enough against the Eagles if they are smart about it. That said, this is not a team you try and ground and pound against. They need to pass and score to win.
  9. Who is playing QB for the Raiders? Sounds like it’s going to be Hoyer, or rather the rotting corpse of Brian Hoyer. The Raiders offense is a hot mess. I cannot see them hanging with KC in any way.
  10. Perhaps Roger’s will convince the Jets ownership to hire Hackett as HC after they fire Saleh. That would be perfect.
  11. Well, that was bound to happen eventually.
  12. I think he is fine in that role. He is simply over his head with respect to the role of a head coach.
  13. Saleh needs to be fired. He is simply awful.
  14. Or maybe he is just an arrogant POS who does not want to get his nose dirty.
  15. He was referring to when Davis was the third outside WR, not to yesterday’s performance.
  16. As long as one of them is against Miami.
  17. If I were Josh, I would be asking Saleh “Hey Bob, who is embarrassing who now, you *****”. But hey, that’s just me.
  18. I think that is the best game the Bills have played, as a team, all year. Tough, emotional, and focused. Very encouraging.
  19. Outstanding start to this game.
  20. I like your scenario. However, I would not give up on the AFCE quite yet. I know people will think I am delusional, but Miami is likely to lose at least 2 more if not 3 more before that game. Remember, if Buffalo wins both games against Miami they only need to tie in record. Of course, this scenario requires that the Bills accomplish a very heavy lift in the meantime, and the way they have been playing, that would seem unlikely. Getting their collective head out of their arse against the Jets would be a good start, but if they win the next two they are capable of a run. I think they need to go 5-1 prior to the last game to have a shot at it.
  21. All you need to say is “Ben Volin says” and you know the rest. Nice job here, but there has never been any reason to take this guy seriously about anything.
  22. I have not been on the McDermott is the problem train like many posters here have been, and in fact I have always argued back at this, but that train is beginning to leave the station in my mind. This article by Sharp is outstanding, well reasoned and backed up with facts. It is the best written explanation of what may be the crux of the problem I have read certainly. Definitely food for thought as the mistakes and failures by players and coaches pile up week after week. That said, I definitely think Dorsey was part of the problem. Whether it is partly or mostly due to McDermott’s direction is a valid question, as is the role of McDermott in Josh’s erratic performance. I know if I do not see some evidence that this team has not quit on the season and by extension the HC by the end of the year (hopefully very soon) the train will be all the way out of the station for me. Thanks for posting, really. I had already read it and would have posted if you had not already done so.
  23. When people start their posts with throwing out terms like “apologists” and “fan boys” you can be pretty sure what follows will be ignorant and you do not disappoint.
  24. So if someone does not agree with your “assessment” they are a coward? Thanks for letting us know. What revelation.
