  1. Apparently the "source" failed to read the entire agreement. I wish people would stop linking this nitwit to the board.
  2. The relocation fee goes into the poctets of the owners and they can set it as high or as low as they want. The lease buy out would I assume go back to the State/County who are funding the stadium improvements
  3. This process will be overseen by by a Court, who is responsible for ensuring that best interests of the estate are being met. It is not a free for all. The process will take time - 2 to 3 years best case from now to eventual NFL approval and then formal transfer - but cannot be forestalled indefinitely.
  4. Done, Thanks to Chandler#81 - stole his. Great idea.
  5. Like so many others, the Buffalo Bills have been an integral part of my life and that of my family - from my father, to me, to my sons. We have Mr. Wilson to thank for that. His vision, his dedication, and his commitment. He understood, perhaps better than anyone, the special bond his team shared with the community. RIP Mr. Wilson, and thank you.
  6. I am not sure how you draw this conclusion from that article. It sounds like a lot of "coach speak" to me, along with a reporter lapping it up. Based on what?
  7. They always draft a corner somewhere. I would think pretty much every team does. I would not expect one before round 4 or 5.
  8. Well signing Sanchez as third string QB will certainly push them over the top.
  9. Exactly. If the Jets thought he would be of any productive use as either competition for, or a mentor to Geno, he would still be there. We have seen the best that Sanchez has to offer and it is not very good. He would be a major distraction - not a help in any way.
  10. You do realize he plays the same position as Mario Williams, right?
  11. It is possible they contacted Jones and others who had no interest in visiting or talking with the Bills.
  12. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Bills defensive line. Quite simply, one of the best in the league. They do not need either of these players, but especially Allen.
  13. The SEC is a good college league but all the SEC stats in the world do not necessarily translate into NFL success. The Bills should not be wasting a draft pick in the top 5 rounds on a QB who projects as a career back up, best case. He is a winner, but it takes much more than that. (Tebow anyone?)
  14. Carrington was a marginal player who was beginning to show real promise at least as a good rotational player before his injury. (oops - should have taken that extension, Alex) Now he is a just a marginal player with injury concerns. I certainly do not blame him for shopping around. You never know if someone will overpay. I would certainly not blame the Bills if what they put on the table was a "show me" type of low ball contract, which is probably what he he is seeing elsewhere as well. I would not hate it if he were back on that kind of deal, but don't care if he leaves at this point either. He would be no lock to make the team.
  15. I do not believe that according to the CBA they can even negotiate with Dareus now. I believe there is a rule preventing negotiation of contract extensions for rookie deals until the final year, so not a priority now. I could be wrong about this, but that is my recollection. I agree it should be as soon as it is possible.
  16. I like this take. I am hoping the Bills have an opportunity to trade down. I am not sold on Evans, and I think they can get a very good tackle prospect in Round 2. I would love it if a trade down similar to last year were available. Benjamin and an Ot in the second would be a great draft.
  17. I am hoping for trade down as well. I. Think Evans at 9 is very risky. A trade down will still allow them to pick up an OT and WR with the first two picks, and have an extra second rounder to play with. If they do not trade down, OT would be the best bet.
  18. I think in a couple of years he may be as good as Thad Lewis.
  19. Agree. I do not understand the fascination people seem to have for wanting to get rid of our best players. ( yet cry all day about Byrd choosing to leave). We should be collecting playmakers not trading them.
  20. You are now, officially, a troll. Welcome to ignore.
  21. Parker screwed Carrington. He could have signed a long term extension with the Bills last year before his injury. Now he is damaged goods worth only a try before you buy type of contract. Too bad - the kid had potential.
  22. That's nice but he does not play for the Bills.
  23. The only problem with that is Chandler has outperformed many of the TE's you have rated higher over the past few years. I am not sure I understand your criteria. Chandler is certainly not elite. He is average to above average. He lacks speed certainly. I would love for the Bills to have an elite TE, but compared to the other FA options this year once Graham and Pitta were locked up, I am fine with Chandler. Finley could be the exception, but he may or may not be healthy, and who knows if wanted to even leave GB. I would rather the Bills focus the draft on a potential #1 WR, OT, OG in that order, and resigning Chandler allows them to do that. As to TD production, do you think the QB position may have a bit to do with that?
