  2. Exactly. He thought he was beat and panicked. Look for the damn ball. It hit him in the head - would not have been hard to find.
  3. It was a "safe" play to run from that position and situation which actually worked. It caught NE defending the pass downfield and he gained 15 yards. Had Spiller not fumbled the ball, the Bills were set up for a pass to get to field goal range, and they had a time out. The one time Spiller chose to NOT run out of bounds was the exact time he should have. There was nothing wrong with the play, everything wrong with Spiller's decision making.
  4. While yesterday was disappointing, I am still excited as well. This forum is mostly unreadable after a loss, any loss. Fire everyone! Everyone sucks! The sky is falling! I think the sky is pretty much where reasonable people expected it to be at this point, but maybe that's just me. Part of why I watch the Bills and follow the team so closely is for the enjoyment of watching it all unfold over the course of a season. There are 10 more games I believe. We will see where we are then. In the meantime, buckle up and put on your raincoat if you insist on remaining positive in the face of massive loss induced hysteria.
  5. Extremely good point and well said. Both teams are vastly different than in past years and the Bills are the team that is on the rise. I would be happy with a one point win, but my gut tells me this one goes big in the Bills favor. The Bills front seven will dominate the Pats forcing Marcia into rushed and bad throws. Two interceptions minimum in the offing, three to four sacks. I expect the Bills to come out more aggressive Sunday than they have been in terms of formations and tempo. Spread the field and run Spiller and Jackson. Orton can beat this defense. 37-23 Bills.
  6. Seems about right.
  7. I agree they were apparently trying to simplify for EJ. However, they definitely have the offensive scheme available. It is just a question of when and where they are going to feel comfortable with Orton. This could be the week. I hope so, because going 3 wide and spreading NE out seems the best way to attack them to me.
  8. Great post! I am relying in our fans in the stadium on Sunday to make it impossible for Marcia. We are counting on you. Let's usher in this new era of Bills Football with a crushing defeat of the Pats. Go Bills!
  9. Yes they do. It seems that Marrone decide to play along this week. The Bills injury report is loaded with players who will undoubtedly play, but are listed as Limited Participation which is the current equivalent to questionable.
  10. Frankly, I always thought that any male that listened to Bon Jovi music was a bit gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that ....
  11. He also can't spell "personnel" so that might have been the first clue.
  12. You make a good point. Graham at least approached it head on. Sully approached it like the weasel he is. The tone of the question he asked was arrogant and weasel like. To paraphrase the immortal words of Kyle Orton, "that was a crap question". Ten to one that Sully's next article will go out of his way to get even. He is that big a douche.
  13. I had no doubt about that before. It is interesting to note far down the pecking order they are in the Bills eyes by how long it took for them to get recognized. Just an observation.
  14. Pegula said yes, "by his choice". When Littman was speaking on Wednesday, he indicated he would be working for the Foundation, so staying with the Wilson family.
  15. So did the Colts win last night or did the Texans let it slip away?
  16. I am pretty sure that AP would be just as dumb whether he smokes weed or not.
  17. I have that feeling, so you won't be alone.
  18. Well said. My favorite comment from Tate was that he would have grabbed Scwartz and thrown him to the ground if he did not know he would be fined. Really? I think I would like to see him try.
  19. Are you suggesting that Tommy Boy is experienced at controlling his gag reflex?
  20. I am tempted to take the Bills in the Suicide Pool this week. That's how confident I am. This is THE game that will propel this team to the next level.
  21. Beat me to it! Great post YOLO. Actually, I think 41-14 may not be far off, but NE will probably have a couple of field goals as well. 37 - 20 Bills.
  22. Amen. I have assumed so far that the reluctance to line up in more spread formations was to protect EJ. I am hoping that Hackett will be more aggressive with Orton. Running up the middle with either back from that power formation is simply not working with the subpar guard play they are getting. The running game will be much better out of the spread and the offensive will be more explosive. It was every time they used it against Detroit. It is definitely the way to attack the Pats.
  23. As would I, but that one was obvious. The ones that drive me crazy are the calls that have nothing to do with the play. A case in point was on a Detroit series, I believe the first of the half. The Bills stopped Detroit twice on that drive only to have holding penalties on the secondary. On the second one, Detroit ran what was obviously intended to be a swing pass to the back. Stafford never looked anywhere else, threw the ball rather quickly, and the Bills defended it properly. Suddenly, a holding flag comes in from the far side of the field. It was ticky tack to begin with, but clearly had nothing to do with the play. Drives me crazy.
  24. They actually have the Bills at 22, 5 spots behind the Dolphins. Probably the worst I have seen so far. Not that it matters - I just find it funny.
