Palmers numbers stunk last season. And this was with MANConkey on the field at the same time getting all the attention from defenses Palmer 2024 Rec 39 Yards 584 yards Avg 15 yards TD 1

Its up to Brady to scheme him open as well or rotate him into slot at times. Bills need some creativity on offense.

I think one thing that that is lost in the discussion about "elite" talent is that coaching matters every bit as much as the drafting part. So if there is very little elite talent on the Bills, it may not be Beane at all, it could be McDermott. McDermott could be every bit as much to blame. Beane could draft the next superstar, but if McDermott can't coach them up that player will fail. And who the lead coach on offense? Brady ? The guy that was fired from the Panthers?? Surely you can't be serious!!

These are Julio Jones types of measureables Could Prather under the tutelage of Josh become the next Julio Jones ???

Beane missed his opportunity. He could have signed Cook for a bargain 15M a year. But because he waited too long, the price has gone up to 20M a year. 3 years 40M guaranteed, Bills can get out on the 3rd year. "He who hesitates is lost"

Your point is valid. Bills fans automatically think we will pick up right where we left off in league scoring. But in fact, every year is different. Each new year is a complete reset. There is no "picking up where you left off". Our main competition is stocking up on WR because Reid knows the value. Ravens will be better. The bengals will be back in the mix. Watch out for the Chargers. We need to give Josh every tool available to be successful next season. And we have reloaded the defense several times already in McDermotts 10 year tenure. Does anyone honestly think this year will be different ? At least give Josh some new weapons in this completely new season to outscore teams in the playoffs.
