  1. I just got ST for free too !
  2. I'm visiting SoCal now myself. Beautiful place. 75 during the day 65 at night. No humidity I could get used to this weather
  3. I've heard the lions Oline uses a zone cut blocking scheme. Hopefully we won't lose 3 of our starting Dline on a meaningless preseason game !
  4. No pass interference. DB did not hit the receiver early before the ball got there but at the same time. Great play !
  5. I thought this was an interesting article. The 2M per month is a drop in the bucket. The 49ers have already generated more than $1 billion in revenue from Levi's Stadium This was back in 2014 before the stadium even opened. "Each of those nearly 70,000 season-ticket holders will pay a seat license fee ranging from $2,000 to $80,000 - which generated $530 million in revenue, according to the paper. On top of that, the Niners will rake in more than $100 million in ticket sales (prices range from $850 to $3,750) annually." https://footballscoop.com/news/the-49ers-have-already-generated-more-than-1-billion-in-revenue-from-levi-s-stadium
  6. I'm afraid thats not how it works. The local citizens approve a tax hike to help pay for the stadium and every penny the stadium makes including concessions and even parking go straight to Pegula's pocket. The same thing happened in Atlanta. The Falcons were playing in the the Georgia Dome which was a 20 year old stadium in good shape. The Falcons were leasing the stadium from the Georgia World Congress center, so all profits from Falcons games went to the GWC center. Arthur Blank (owner) asked for a new stadium and to have tax payers pay a portion for it. The tax hike was approved and once the Mercedes Benz Dome was built, all Revenue (every penny) went straight to Blank. That is the real reason billionaires want new stadiums. Its not that they can't be renovated, its because the owners want all the money from the stadium going to them instead of the local city/county governments.
  7. Fromm !!!! Looks like Fromm is heating up !
  8. The story has gone national. The press has seized on the term the "Austin Bills". https://sports.yahoo.com/report-austin-bills-texas-city-190123663.html
  9. The sports firm representing Pegula will work with local government to put a tax hike on the ballot to fund the stadium. If it's voted down "The Sports firm" will theaten to leave Buffalo. This same thing happened with Atlanta and San Diego. San Diego voters voted down the tax hike multiple times
  10. I think Jones could be good. In college he threw the deep ball with alot of touch and accuracy. He's a smart kid too. Newton probably starts the season but if they go 2-6 or so, Jones will be inserted into the starting lineup. He'll struggle at first but could go on a run towards the end of the season. I don't see the pats challenging the Bills until next season
  11. No. No team will want Daboll. In fact if the Bills underachieve this season he could be fired
  12. I wish the Colts would trade for Fromm. He's actually a better QB then Trubustsky
  13. Baseless charges and a completely frivolous lawsuit. What else ?
  14. Fromm !!! Stevenson will make the team. There will be no doubt about it !
  15. Fromm is just getting warmed up !
  16. Any word on how Fromm looked ?
  17. So during the Civil War, the union troops marched into North Carolina for a major battle with the confederacy. Instead of encountering stiff resistance from the confederacy, many confederate troops instead of fighting just turned tail and ran. Yes, they deserted their positions handing NC to the union with almost no resistance. Later the confederate generals reflecting on the crushing defeat said "We should have put put a little tar on the heels of the confederate soldier so they would stay and fight instead of running off like cowards". The name stuck and to this day the university of North Carolina is called the Tar Heels.
  18. Looks like unvaccinated players are going to be much lighter in the wallet. "According to ESPN.com, the league will fine unvaccinated players $14,650 for each violation of the league's COVID-19 protocols, such as not wearing a mask in areas where it is mandated to do so, or attending a crowded, indoor event. " https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-will-fine-unvaccinated-players-14650-for-violating-covid-protocols/
  19. I'm wondering what they could have been arguing about. Which team is less horrible?
  20. The vaccinated spreading to unvaccinated players will be almost impossible to prove since vaccinated players rarely if ever get tested before infection. Unvaccinated players get tested daily so it will look like the unvaccinated just caught it through chance. It will be much easier to catch infection if you're tested daily. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2021/6/16/22537177/nfl-nflpa-covid-vaccination-rules-2021
