  1. You just became my new favorite poster. That's the best response ever.
  2. This is a fascinating list to me ... Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of all three movies (though I think we're the only ones who can stand 3 hours of Contact), but it's such a randomly eclectic list. You're an interesting guy, Repuslif. Yes. You do.
  3. He's the real deal. I know it's only one game, but the guy can flat out play. He's not phased at all by the NFL.
  4. Kellythefairandbalanceddog caught me buying champagne ... and made fun of me mercilessly (as he should).
  5. Just got back from watching the game and I have to say that was an impressive performance all around. I'm as hard on Fitz as anyone here, but the dude looked great today. Crazy props given. If the Bills can stay healthy, they can do damage.
  6. Funny thing is I really wasn't sure.
  7. One of us can't count ... but I'm thinking it's me. Four or five?
  8. Good post ... I am as harsh a critic of Nix as anyone, but I do applaud the recent efforts to keep players around. It at least feels refreshing. Still, the best way to keep your own players is to build a winning culture around the organization. Players want to play for teams that pay them the most money or give them the best chance to strengthen their legacy in the league. For far too long Buffalo has been able to provide neither of those things. Hopefully change starts Sunday at Arrowhead.
  9. It's funny, I've referenced Off The Wall in a bunch of pitch meetings when they ask, "where did that idea come from". When I explain it's from a Buffalo Bills message board, they usually just look confused. I think it's a combination of words they have never heard uttered in a meeting. Either way, it makes me laugh every time. You are the man!
  10. Holy God this is an amazing article. I mean ... You know ... It's like .... I'm speechless. Thank you, kind sir, for finding this gem.
  11. It's not at all what I'm doing. NGU is not a journalist. Has never claimed to be a journalist. Does not trade on his name or make a living doing so. John does. Attacking my post, or NGU's, or Kelly's, or yours amounts to a bunch of people having a pissing contest. It's meaningless. Happens a billion times a day on internet boards. But NGU didn't attack a poster. He didn't attack someone's opinion. He called out a journalist. By name. And called them a fraud. WITHOUT READING THE ARTICLE. I don't know John. I've never met him. But wrong is wrong -- no matter HOW much information NGU has given in the past. There are lines you don't cross unless you're willing to back them up with proof. This is one of them. If you can't see the difference, then you're not really paying attention. What is sickening about this is that this is apparently a sanctioned attack by the front office of the Bills. NGU has said his job is to give inside information about the Bills. So he's saying he's on payroll and comes on here as part of his job to give us information when THEY want us to get it. Think about what that implies. It means he was sent here today to attack JW on TBD in some effort to damage control. If OBD wanted to refute the story, they could hold a press conference. They could grant an exclusive with any number of beat writers to clear the matter up. They could do any number of perfectly acceptable things to show the fans that JW's story was unfounded. But instead, NGU comes on here with an incredibly hostile attitude and not only dismisses JW's story, but throws the man personally under the bus by calling his credibility into question. That's horrific and cowardly. And if this was something that OBD sent him here to do, it should sicken every single Bills fan. If not for their methods and approach but for the simple fact that NGU basically admitted that the Bills aren't even TRYING to field a playoff team in the next 5 years. NGU may have credibility. But he has no class.
  12. You're right. There is no reason to think that. You are making accusations about a man's livelihood, calling him amongst other things a liar and a hack journalist. Yet, you admit you didn't even read the piece in question. You don't even know WHAT he said but you're here making a rant about it. Why? Oh ... that's right. You won't say why you did it. Or who you are. Or what you do. Because you "have inside information". And it's impossible that anyone else can have sources themselves. Even better ones. The truth is, if you work for the Bills and have been feeding us information without them knowing, you're not a very good employee. If you're a friend or relative of someone at OBD, then you're a bad friend for revealing privleged info behind their back. Or, more realistically, if you work for the Bills, as you seem to, then they know what you post on here. And clearly you have an agenda here. But yet you refuse to admit it. Which makes you even more slimey. You're here because someone at OBD got their panties in a bunch and you're doing damage control by making baseless (and cowardly) accusations without offering anything to back them up. You're OBD's lapdog. And not a very good one at that.
  13. Okay ... now you're just being an aszhole. And a coward. If you do work for the Bills (and it's clear that you do) I have lost total respect for how that front office does business. If there was any left in the first place. First you call out a man for doing his job and claim his report is inaccurate. Now you admit you never even read the report in the first place -- or at the very least failed to understand the language in which it was written. You're a joke. You get inside info and you post it on here to feel better about yourself and then you slander someone who makes their living at this without offering a shred of proof or even your name. You needlessly throw a man under the bus while hiding behind shield of wanna-be-tough-guy cowards everywhere: anonymous internet posting. This isn't like flaming a bad poster. This is calling out someone's profession. And you choose the most cowardly, back handed way to go about this. Eff off.
  14. I have not seen a frame of the movie yet, but every meeting I go on, everyone absolutely raves about Drive. I'm talking across the board gushing from execs who had nothing to do with the film. It's supposed to be the best action movie of the past decade. It might mean nothing, but it's rare to hear that kind of universal consensus from the typically ultra jaded folks in tow.
  15. ... And this just became my sig line for Pats week. Dikipedia: Tom Brady "On February 3, 2008, Tom Brady brought his team, with their perfect 18-0 record, to the Super bowl where he promptly choked and was beaten by a banged-up team of young players led by a guy who is not even the best quarterback in his immediate family."
  16.
  17. No, it's not a sexual sight. It's totally safe for work unless there's a language filter. It's a wiki list of all the Johnsons in the world. And it's hilarious. Enjoy.
  18. Murph and Kelso talked about it during the game the other night. That was the first I heard of it. Good find! Classy move. Get well, Allen.
  19. You're forgetting that Jackson is in the last year of his deal. By signing Vick now they can use the tag on Jackson next year. Which will save them money for a year even with Vick's salary. Then, they can resign Jackson to a long term deal (if he warrants it) the next season when half of Vick's money is already off the books. It's a smart move by the front office of the Eagles. It's only 40 million guaranteed. It gives them flexibility to keep their own star players next year. There's no down side here even if Vick flames out this year. It's not going to kill their cap or their team.
  20. I'm probably late to this ... but I found it hilarious. It's no fat baby, mind you. But it has it's charms. http://www.youtube.com/user/EmmaStoneVerified
