The Bills were not in the game for one minute. They got beat physically and mentally by a team that was fired up and better prepared. The crowd at the Ralph never had a moment to get into the game -- and white out or not -- was terribly quiet today. Hard to blame them, the 12th Man needs something to cheer about in order to become a factor. The Bills didn't just get beat -- they got dominated. So much so, there really isn't any point in picking out specific players who shat the bed. The entire team, from top to bottom, played horrendously. The coaches were horrible. The crowd was horrible. And the Jets just flat out kicked our ass from the opening whistle until the final gun. But let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here. Every team, even the great teams, occasionally lays an egg. It's happened to pretty much every team this season but for the Packers. There's no one left on the schedule the Bills can't beat -- including the Jets and Pats on the road. There is nothing to feel good about this game -- but there's nothing to panic over either. It may be a cliche, but failure is not in falling down, it's in not getting up. The Bills have a tough stretch ahead of them, but a win next week and they're sitting in the catbird seat once again. Enjoy the ride.

I totally disagree. Cochran's move was far too early. He went from being 6th in his alliance to being 7th in his new alliance. Let's not forget, since he's not a physical threat, he could have coasted and waited for a better moment to make a move because no one would want to get rid of him. Now he's a marked man. And putting your faith in the unstable crazies in the Blue tribe is a mistake. The better play would have been to tell Coach what was going to go down (which he did) then stick with Red for this vote. Draw rocks. Then he could go back to Coach and Hanz and all of them and be like: "You can trust me, I helped you flush out the idol" etc. Then he could have controlled the game on HIS terms. Bad mistake. (But great episode)

Official Bills-Jets Live Game Thread
CosmicBills replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. But man, that first half was a straight ass whoopin' by the Jets. They're going to regret not stepping on the Bills' throat when they had the chance. -
This is why, for me, it's such a non issue. It's not a slight against the Bills in reality (and I'm sure Rex knows this) but it's a harmless gesture for Rex. Best case scenario he fires up Maybin and rattles the Bills (which won't happen). Worst case scenario, Maybin tries to tackle the ref during the coin toss but gets stiff-armed by a 50 year old man.

Wow ... worst QB in the NFL today. This from a guy who's covered the league for 28 years. And he's a Bronco's beat writer too. The torches and pitchforks are next. -
Blasphemy! Joe versus the volcano is a masterpiece.

 So your definition of a solid wife is one who is so subservient to her husband that she sat back in silence (or blissful ignorance) as her husband stole hundreds of millions of dollars from people AND then had the good sense to commit suicide with him because he got caught? I guess we look for different things in a woman.

This is why God invented the FF button.

DT Williams could be out for year?
CosmicBills replied to Numark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why is it a dumb idea? They told Einstein Time Travel was impossible and if he had listened to the skeptics, he never would have landed the role of Doc Brown. That made him rich. Sometimes it's worth the gamble. -

Must be because Ralph clipped his wings -- probably because he iis too cheap to install netting above the Ralph to prevent his players from flying away. -

I think you are mixed up -- it's not pallindome, I think you're thinking of terrordome (Good song!). Common mistake. -

This is true. I do stand corrected. But what about words like vet and vet? Spelled the same and can mean two different things? What's that called? I forget. -

You're right. They use psychiatrists instead. The NFL has teams that goes through incredible lengths to vet players before they are drafted (some go as far as hiring PIs to do background checks -- something they all deny but happens regularly). So if you think that a GM or front office is above bringing in a sports psychiatrist (or a normal psychiatrist) to figure out as much as they can about their investments you're being silly. -
The dental assistant ... also star and writer of Always Sunny I totally understand not liking the movie -- it's humor isn't for everyone. But to think it's one of the worst films ever? For me this was one of the highlights of the year. It's silly, irreverent and fun. It's dark but not serious. And a fantastic cast.

Absolutely! A sound tech told me once: "when you fly on a plane you can watch the movie for free. But you gotta pay to listen to it". And he's right.
-
Wow. I really dug that movie. And Charlie Day is a genius.

For this most recent thing I've been working on, I created a list of the following soundtracks and put 'em on shuffle: How To Train Your Dragon (John Powell) The Kingdom (Danny Elfman) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Alexandre Desplat) Transformers Dark Side of the Moon (Steve Jablonsky) Black Hawk Down, Inception, Sherlock Holmes (Zimmer) X-Men First Class (Henry Jackman) -- this was better than I thought it would be Drive (Various)

No, but now I have a BRAND NEW IDEA! They'll never see this one coming! Truth be told I'm working on a Disney show at the moment (just about to hand in my last draft of the season!) but we don't premier until January. So get your DVRs ready!
