That's the one! And in fact, I just found out the premier episode is now available on iTunes for free a week before it airs on XD. Anyone interested in checking it out just search for "Battle for Motorcity" under TV Shows and it should pop up. Again, both the episode and the iPad game are free. Though it's Disney, so I'm not sure how long that will last.

It's absolutely a brutal business in that regards. Especially for writers. When it comes to feature films, the writer ranks somewhere below the concessions salesman. The story we spent months painstakingly crafting is often treated with the tenderness of a doberman once production gets rolling. We're more often than not the first to be fired (sometimes several times before cameras even begin to roll) and viewed as the easiest (and cheapest) to replace. It's definitely not for the feint of heart or the creative purists. Feature film making is an enormously collaborative art form -- which is just another way producers and directors tell writers to !@#$ off.

That's what makes the good ones great.

Awesome! I'll update this thread when we get a bit closer to the actual date as well. As for the ratings, DVR ratings are now calculated in the ratings, they just come out in a separate set a little bit later in the week. So DVRs definitely count!

When my episodes start airing, there will be a few TSW references. I haven't seen the final cuts of 3 of my episodes yet, but so far most of the little shout outs have survived the process. The most notable ones are going to be found in the character names I used.

After what seems like an eternity, the show I've been working on for the past year is premiering at the end of the month. I know TSW isn't exactly the demographic that Disney XD is chasing but I thought I'd pass along the word in case anyone's interested in checking it out. MOTORCITY is a half hour animated action/adventure show geared towards children in the 8-15 year old range. Though, in reality, any fan of animated awesomeness will be able to enjoy this show. The show is kind of a combination of Demolition Man and Robin Hood. I guess that depends on what you consider to be a surprise? The way I see it, there's nothing the Bills can do with their first round pick that would really be a surprise. The choices are fairly obvious: LT, WR, LB, CB being the positions of greatest need -- but there is so little depth on the roster they could really go anywhere and get someone who would "make sense". Even the extreme picks (QB, DE, OG, DT) would make sense on some level as would a trade down or up to get someone like JB or Kalil. The only pick that would make absolutely no sense would be a running back at 10.

Floyd is who I'd like to see them take -- I wanted the Bills to take him even when I thought Meachum was going to sign. He makes too much sense and fills a huge need ... so there's no way they end up taking him.
