As long as he isn't rushed into the starting role (for health concerns I mean) I have no problem with that. I think Lossman will see the field (not till November though), but it is all up to his leg and the break so to speak.

None! I win!
-
Okay, now it was a wasted TO Unreal.
-
It's only a wasted timeout if they don't get a TD out of this play. If they come out of the TO and score a TD I will not consider it a wasted TO. It's better to be safe here than sorry.

More proof that Willis is the new starting RB...he just B word slapped Ray Lewis.
-
indeed they are. At least someone is keeping the faith! I'm with ya!
-
Deon...again. Goodness.
-
RB Controversy over. Willis is the f'ing man. CYA Travis. Nice to know ya. Hope we get a nice 2nd round pick for you come the Spring.
-
I'm with ya. I want to believe!
-
Who cares what pick Dallas gets? We already got our first rounder from next years Draft. He wears No.7 and will be on the field in a couple weeks.
-
Once when he was trying to throw the ball away due to pressure. lol
-
I know this topic has been beat to death. But all the Bills woes this season can be summed up with one stat: 0 Rushing TDs all year... That's just terrible.
-
WOW this should be a Bills TD. The ball totally hit the Baltimore player. At the very least, its Bills ball.
-
The Bills can put 20 on Baltimore...but not much more. The D cannot allow them to score for the rest of the game.
-
umm...how was that not a facemask? He almost ripped Aiken's helmet off????
-
They faked the toss to Moulds, then Drew tried to throw a screen pass to Willis, but the OLB tipped the ball and Deon was right there.
-
Of all the people...friggin' Deon.
-
Hey, look at that. Reed remembered how to catch! Good stuff

I'm tired of all this WM hype after just one game

Exactly! lol -
As a sad Yankee fan, I wish nothing but the best for both teams. Here's to a great (hopefully) entertaining World Series.

Sorry, I don't like to do this very often, but this just shows your true colors. You aren't being objective. You just don't like TD and are looking for ways to bash him. If Willis turns out to be the next OJ (minus the double murder) no sane person would ever say that was a wasted pick. EVER. Travis is a good back. But if Willis is better, he should play. And I judge the better back to be the one that gives us the best chance to win on Sunday. -

I will never, ever understand that argument. But it happens alot. "well, if you took away XYZ, then he wouldn't have had such a good day statistically". WHY WOULD YOU TAKE THAT AWAY?! When has Travis busted a 31 yarder? The fact is Travis is a good back. But face it, how many career runs of over 30 has he had? From my memory (very innacurate source by the way) he's had 2 or 3 in 4 years. When Henry busts one for 12 yards everyone goes nuts because that is a long run for him. He doesn't have the ability to (to use your word) consistently break long runs like Willis does. I think Travis is a good back. But I think Willis will be a better one. But I am not going to choose one over the other right now because they are both on our team. But at the moment Willis gives us a better chance at winning than Travis does. MM just has to use them both from now on. -
Two things that I found funny about this week's episode. First, Marino caught a firestorm of crap for his anti-Buffalo comments last week. Costas and Collingsworth ripped him for the first five minutes of the show until he appologized (and then called Jim Kelly the Govenor of the city...he's obviously got a great head on his shoulders ). Yet, after spending 5 minutes of the show on how Dan insulted Buffalo, they didn't even bother to show the Bills/Dolphins highlights OR make their predictions on the Bills/Ravens game! Now, I have watched Inside the NFL for years and I have never seen them totally skip a game before! WTF is up with that? I thought that was the point of the show, even if it's 10 seconds worth of highlights they ALWAYS show every game. Plus with it being Willis's first start, they at least had something to talk about even if the game itself was ugly. I was laughing about it thinking it was their way of adding insult to injury by not showing the game after Marino trashed the fans last week. Anyone else catch that?

First of all Clements, it was fun sharing threads with you and other Yankee fans such as Millbank and Pete (to name a few) who are all smart and gracious. Same goes for the Sox fans who came onto those threads who are also equally cool (like wwwvince etc). Also, I echo your congrats to all Sox fans. They beat the Yanks plain and simple. They earned it. Good for them... But as for your thoughts on Torre, I dissagree that he will be axed. Now, I don't doubt George would LOVE to dump him, but he did just pony up a 19 million dollar contract extension (with gauranteed money) with Joe in the spring. That being the case, he can't really afford (is that an oxymoron or what?lol) to put him out to pasture. Yet, someone has to (and will) take the fall for the failure. But whose left? Brown and Giambi are two likely candidates, but they are also tied into long term deals for big money (well, Brown only has 2 left I think). And both of their trade values are about zero at this point. Obvioulsy Arod, Jeter, Mo' and Posada are safe as well. You can't dump Mel either because Torre won't allow it. And George won't fire the one of the most popular Yankees of all time (Donny Baseball) either. So who does that leave? Only the man with the most apra'pos (spelling? lol) name of them all: Ca$hman. I think he takes the fall for this. As for players? I think Brown is gone (they will eat his deal), Lofton, Olerued Clark, Wilson, and Flarity. I also think El Duque and Lieber are also cut (Lieber has an 8 million dollar option that I don't think they will pick up which is unfair, but they are going to use that money for a more durable No.1 pitcher and Beltran). I expect George to make a run at Percivil (to be the setup man, but pay him like a closer for Mo'), Beltran, Pavano, and possibly Pedro or Nomar (a month ago I would say it was for certain they would make a run at Nomar, but I think Cairo earned a spot-at least as a utility man-on the roster). The key for the Yanks is to build up their bullpen and I think Percival would be the perfect fit. Then you can setup with Flash, Troy or Quantril and still have Mo'. Just my opinion though.

I hear what you're saying. But the question is did they give those games away or did the Sox just outplay them? As a Yankee fan I think it's too easy to say we choked. Instead I think the better team just won. They made the plays when they needed to. The Yanks couldn't. I will give you Game 4 as a choke, the Yanks just screwed up. But in Game 5 they were outplayed from begining to end.
