Who says the fans are getting off scott free? No one. I haven't heard one person defend the fans who threw the cup. Not one. The police and proper authorities will deal with the fans, the NBA isn't a legal body that can do anything about the criminal acts of the fans. But they can police their own players and they have with Artest. Stop looking at it from only one angle. EVERYONE is getting hit hard because of this, not just Artest. He is getting what he deserves for over reacting and the fans will get what they deserve. The league isn't saying it's okay to throw stuff. They are saying it's NOT okay for players to assult fans for throwing stuff. The police will deal with the rest... And of course the police will deal with artest who is reportedly about to be charged with first degree assult and battery as well. -
Ice, I am with you on this one. The playoffs are pretty much out of the picture. However! I will be psyched if the Bills can finish with a 9-7 or 10-6 record. It will mean that the team is on the right track and will have some serious momentum heading into the next season. Don't you agree?

What did Martz say after the game?

I know, me too. I have a feeling we will have to wait till the news tonight or possible Prime Time -
How do you like your crow prepared?

9-7 with 6 or 7 AFC losses won't be enough to make the playoffs this year. 10-6 with 6 AFC loses most likely won't be enough either. -

Did Gray say anything about the confrontation after the game? Man, I can't wait to read the stories about this one. I have always disliked Martz. lol -

He blamed Jerry Gray for his DBs being injured? Does he know that Jerry Gray is the DEFENSIVE coach? lol Martz is an idiot. -
Brandon, this quote sums up exactly what everyone has been trying to tell you for the past two days about your boy Artest: "The actions of the players involved wildly exceeded the professionalism and self-control that should fairly be expected from NBA players," NBA commissioner David Stern said in a statement, adding that the league must not "allow our sport to be debased by what seem to be declining expectations."

I heard it was classic Martz, bitching and moaning

Not Artest anymore:)

I will be surprised if Artest's suspension holds up. The Player's Union will have a thing or two to say about it. Although, I think he deserves a season long suspension, I don't think it will hold.

QB: (B ) Bledsoe played well today, but made a lot of underthrown balls early that St.Louis just couldn't capatlize one. Also, he had another series of bad clock management in the redzone as the second half wound down that cost the Bills 5 yards. RB: (B+) A good performance by Willis. It could have been great had it not been for an ill-timed holding call on Lee Evans which cost Willis a 49 yard TD run. Still, 98 yards on 20 carries is decent, but not great considering St.Louis is giving up 4.9 yards per carry this season. Willis and Shelton did a good job chipping on Leonard Little though. WR/TE: (B ) There were some great catches on bad balls (by Campell and Aiken) but Moulds had problems catching the ball today. Also several key penalties in the game were commited by the WRs (Lee Evans holding, Moulds Personal Foul and a couple other 5 yarders) OLine: (C+) Gave up a sack and couldn't open up the running lanes consistently. Too many penalties as well DLine: (A-) Fantastic performance in the second half overshadows the unit's slow begining. They were miserable at applying pressure for the first half of the game, but they were unstoppable in the second half. Sam Adams had another stellar game. LB: (B+) They shut down teh Rams running game and did a good job on the screens. Their ability to blitz (which wasn't used very often) allowed Milloy to get loose for 3 sacks. Secondary: (B ): Milloy was outstanding in the pass rush and Jabari Geer came to play in the second half. However, they gave up a bunch in the first half that prevents me from giving them a higher mark. Special Teams: (A+) This unit won the game for the Bills in the third quarter. London Fletcher was an animal blocking on kick offs, Fast Freddie, Nate and TM were outstanding. And of course Moorman was good. -
Watch this, both stoked and p_ssed in the same

But aren't we all God's children? -
That's not what the news wires are reporting today. The names you hear the front office defeding are Oneil and Jackson...not Artest. Like I said, it will be interesting.
-
Not in the 4th quarter. He can play in the 4th Quarter and all other QBs are eligible. But regardless, it isn't College you don't yank your starter. Although I wouldn't mind seeing JP in right now.
-
I think whatever the suspension is the Player's union will file a complaint. But if even the Pacers themselves aren't too anxious to forgive Artest, it may not matter.
-
This article is for Brandon and all the Artest appologists: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/stor...marc&id=1928030 It's going to be a long year for Ron.
-
I was going to say. It would be astounding to me if they announce the suspensions before the police and DA office finish their investigation. Unless teh NBA got word that no criminal charges were going to be filed. There is no way the NBA wants to announce the suspensions BEFORE the police announce their decision.
-
Really? hmmm...
-
Don't forget that the Player's Union will undoubtedly lodge a complain. I say Artest gets his suspension cut down to 15 games and the others down to 10. It's not over yet. Also, the Detroit PD and DA are still deciding whether or not to file criminal charges against JO, Artest and Jackson.

I just watched it again on slo-mo. That ball was overthrown (about a foot over Evans head) and it would have been picked had Lee not tipped it. Bad throw
-
Now I'm glad I'm not there. Even though my brother is pissed. lol

I am sure that's how everyone feels, at least that's how I feel.
