  1. Buffalo has the second easiest remaining schedule in the NFL. In order to take this momentum into next season the Bills HAVE to win at least 5 of the last 6 games. I for one agree with you and think it's not out of the question for the Bills to win all 6. But they have to get 5.
  2. I posted something about this after the St.Louis game and I think you are right. MM has said flat out that Drew will be the starter as long as the Bills are alive in the playoff hunt. Now, ICE and I agree that the playoffs for this year are already out of the question (even at 10-6) but MM won't admit that (nor would I want him to) until the Bills get loss number 8. So Drew will start this year unless the Bills lose 2 more games. That being said, it leaves open 2 possible scenarios. I am not saying this is what I would do as a coach but this is what I think MM will do given the following situations: 1) IF the Bills win 9 or 10 games this season: This means JP will not start all year and most likely won't see the field very much at all. It also means that the Bills finished 10-2 or 9-3 after starting out 0-4. That translates into Drew being the starter going into the '05 season. And afterall, why shouldn't he be? You can write off the 0-4 start to numerous factors and MM will want to give Drew another shot with a year of his system under his belt. 2) IF the Bills lose to the Dolphins (or any other AFC team giving them 7 AFC loses and closing the door on the playoffs): JP may not start but will get significant playing time (maybe the 2nd half of games?). This is the most interesting scenario. If JP plays well during this stretch then he may very well win the starting job for '05 right then and there. But, if JP struggles then I feel MM will go into training camp with Drew as his No.1 but will give JP every opportunity to win the job in the preseason. Just my opinion
  3. I agree. I never believed that cliche' until recently. The Dolphins are dangerous. It's in their backyard and they have nothing to lose and everything to gain by knocking the Bills off. I still think the Bills will win, I'm just on edge a little bit about it.
  4. We need NE to beat both the Jets and the Bengals. Don't worry about Pitt having to play their starters until week 17. The rest will take care of itself. Still, the chances of the Bills making the playoffs (even at 10-6, which is where I feel the BIlls will end up) is slim to none. I will be shocked if the Bills don't run the table to end the season. SHOCKED. 10-6 will be oh-so-nice, even without a playoff birth. Of course, 9-7 will be fine too.
  5. Love him or hate him, TD has put tons of talent on this roster. But he has also made some questionable decisions (Gregg Williams or Drew Bledsoe...take your pick) that may have off-set the positives he has brought to the club. Frankly, I am happy with him...if only for the fact that I cannot think of anyone available that would be better. I'm willing to give him through 2005. I think this team has turned a corner and if they can keep building on this momentum, they can be heading into the 2005 season in GREAT shape. Of course, if the Bills don't make the playoffs in '05 I will be ready for a new GM.
  6. According the the Win/Loss records of the upcoming opponents, the Bills have the second easiest schedule in the AFC. There is a VERY good chance they could win out. But sadly 6 AFC loses are going to make the playoffs a huge stretch
  7. The Bills go down to Miami next Sunday.
  8. I agree. I am very happy. Thank you Can the Pats make the Broncos and Jags continue to lose as well please?
  9. Did you get to see the game today? The OLine played maybe their best game all year.
  10. JP with a nice rollout pass to Tim Ehus. Looking good. I am really excited about this kid's talent. (and yes, I know it was a 10 yard pass in garbage time )
  11. Peters is at LT now...interesting.
  12. I want to see JP throw the ball a bit. But he probably won't now.
  13. He looks great...handing the ball of
  14. THAT WAS A CLASS MOVE BY MM! He allowed Drew to leave the field to cheers from his 200 plus friends and family. Man, MM gets better by the second!
  15. Couldn't agree more. I think he is going to be a good one. Just great creativity with the offense. And you have to expect that next year the playbook will be even more expansive with a year of it under their belt already.
  16. JP time? Come on, give the kid the rest of the game. Don't you think?
  17. He did Murph on the radio said, "He was so excited he didn't know how to celebrate so he found a BIlls fan in the first row and gave her the ball". Gotta love that kid.
  18. WHAT A GREAT CALL! HOLY CRAP I LOVE MM!
  19. Wow! Spikes could have KILLED Hasslebeck there. He is lucky Spikes laid off a bit.
  20. You're right. It was the right call. I meant to say it's a BS rule. I can't tell if the Bills are playing really well or if the Seahawks are just that bad... The Bills line looks great, Drew (minus the three bad throws) has looked good as have the WRs. But the D has been helped by missed opportunities. Who cares though I guess, I just love watching this team play winning football! GO BILLS! 15:25 left to play!
  21. Alright Willis! Way to capitalize O! Great blocking by the O-Line all day today.
  22. hehehehe..."leaping" what a BS call. But I'll take it.
  23. Drew owes the entire D a steak dinner after this game. They keep bailing him out. The thing that is so infurating for me is that Drew has looked GREAT at times today. But then he goes and has three costly picks. This game should be over.
  24. As soon as Drew patted the ball you knew what was coming
