Thats a good move for your club, Vince. I was hoping he would come back to NYC, but even if he's not able to go a full season, his leadership (yes, hard to believe from Wells, but he does have some) will be good for the Sox staff.

Exactly right Tom. This is sadly one of the few shows left on TV that uses a Bible for the series. Meaning, they write down the entire story arch first and then they write the episodes to fit the Bible. Most shows today forgo that concept which results in meandering storylines and lots of "coincidences". Thankfully Lost doesn't do that.

Oh really? I missed that. Interesting. From an industry perspective Spielberg's movie will be interesting because of the deal the studio worked out with Cruise. He is getting 10 percent of all box office, all DVDs and ALL merchandizing. It's the first time ever that an actor has been given that much in terms of a back end. You think Cruise will be campaigning hard for this flick? I say we see him and Spielberg on Opera twice to promote the movie

I have only watched the past three episodes (got in the game late). My gf forced me to watch and I was pleasently surprised. It's well cast and so far very good. A couple thoughts: 1) You really thought Charlie was going to die? They completley ripped that scene off from "The Abyss". It was almost shot for shot the scene where Mary Elizabeth Master Antonio (the longest name ever) is revived from drowning by Ed Harris. 2) Is it just me, or do you think the only role Mathew Fox (Jack) can get is one where he has to grow stubble? 3) The tracker's name is John Locke? I don't think that is a coincidence. Perhaps Locke's philosophy has something to do with what is going on with the show's plot. I'm not sure how Locke's Treaties on Government fit, but he wrote that he wanted each of us to "use reason to search after truth rather than simply accept the opinion of authorities or be subject to superstition". I dunno how that fits, just something to chew on. SPOILER 4) What did Locke find at the end of this last episode? I think it's either a door into the "other's" shelter, or it's the wreckage from another plane. Thoughts?

Great Post. I agree with all three. Especially with Jennings, although he will be the hardest one to retain. It will be totally up to Jonas though, he knows the cap better than most GMs, if he wants to be in Buffalo, he will find a way to get it done. If not, then he will be a Falcon next year. I think Nate will be locked up in the offseason. He isn't going anywhere. I know TD tried to extend TM earlier this season (before the signing bonus got rolled over to '05) and had a 7 figure signing bonus on the table. However TM balked because of the length of the deal. He will be resigned I think, but I don't think it will happen till after '05 when he is a RFA.

With another QB I would be worried about his psyche being negatively affected. But the one thing Eli has going for him is his lineage. I don't think he is the best QB of the 2004 class (never thought that) but the one thing he has is mental toughness. He knew full well what to expect. He will be fine. Will he be his brother? Probably not. But I think he will be a fine pro.

And during their current 6 game losing streak they are giving up an average of 32.5 points per game. On the other side, the Bills are averaging 30.5 points over the same span (including the 6 point debacle in NE). If Garcia is out, this game will be ugly. My thoughts exactly. The Pitt game does not scare me since it's in Buffalo. The Ralph will be rocking.
