  1. Is the dog the "monster" everyone keeps seeing? Think about it for a moment, if this island really is a self-fulfiment island where everyone's wishes come true (like Locke being freed from his wheelchair, Jack saving someone etc) maybe the dog wants to be bigger...?
  2. The Hobbit bugs me though.
  3. I was waiting for you to post, Steve. I'm watching too. It looks like Hurley was on the plane.
  4. Renteria alone is replaceable. Both Matheney and Renteria is a tough pill to swallow though, no?
  5. Wow, when the Cards let Matheney go I thought for sure they would use the extra scratch to sign Edgar. Sucks for St. Louis. They just lost two of their best defensive players.
  6. We should be anxious. This is the most important game the Bills have played since the Tennessee playoff game. I am already counting down the hours till kickoff, I can't wait to see an intense game! If the Bills don't make the playoffs, at least we have this game to be excited about. If they win, then the Pit game will be AMAZING (assuming Pitt plays their starters) and the Ralph will be crazy. If the Bills lose it will hurt, but at least we had one meaningful game in December...something this team has lacked for 3 years.
  7. I think the game is pretty even. Whoever wins, it isn't really an upset in my mind. I just hope Jax loses.
  8. I thought this was going to be another "Where is ICE" thread.... Why is they are all dissappearing? Are we not supposed to talk about ICE anymore? If so, someone forgot to tell me. As for your real post: Just a guess, but I think Willis has become so valuable in picking up the blitz that MM hates to use him as a release valve. If that makes sense...
  9. It was there a minute ago, I swear! The computer hates me. That's what it is.
  10. Thanks. I finally have an avatar! Course, it's so small you can't really see it, but it's a shot of Willis I took from the game last weekend.
  11. I don't even know how to add avatars...
  12. I have no doubt that Cincy is a dangerous team. Last week when I was looking ahead to this game I was predicting a close one, something along the lines of 24-20. But as this week progresses, the more confident I become in the Bills' chances. Sure it's on the road, and of course Cincy is good, but I feel like the Bills just believe in themselves more than the Bengals do. This one could turn ugly if the Bills have a good 1st quarter. My tuesday prediction: Bills 31 Bengals 17
  13. Thats funny stuff! Oh man. Isn't it great to have a winning record in December again? Man I've missed this.
  14. That's probably what he did. I was on the other side of the field watching with binoculars so I couldn't see what he did exactly.
  15. Yup, that was the one. I think he threw the ball away (out of the back of the endzone).
  16. I don't know who else caught this, but this morning on Wease Bledsoe was talking about when he went into the stands during the game. I was at the game and remember seeing it and talking to my brother about it but I don't know if they showed it on TV. Drew rolled out and threw the ball away, but his momentum carried him to the wall right in front of the Clevland section where he stopped and jokingly pulled down a Browns fan's hat over his eyes. Wease asked him what was said and Drew said as he was running to the sidelines that guy yelled, "Hey Drew! You SUCK!" So Drew responded, "Yeah, but we're sure kicking your ass today aren't we." And pulled down the guys hat.
  17. Yeah, it was really cool to see him get some carries. Coming out of training camp, I was convinced he would be the Bills KO return man this year...good thing I don't make those decisions!
  18. I wouldn't worry about Pittsburgh either. I think the AFC is really the Pats to lose (as much as that pains me to admit). The Bills fan in me thinks the Bills would be the only ones that could really give the Pats a run for their money in Foxboro. The drama would be set, a chance for redemption for Drew and the whole team...plus it's difficult for anyteam to beat another 3 times in one year. Of course, that's the fan in me
  19. Totally agree with you. I am hoping for a Jets collapse and I think it's certainly possible. I'm hoping for it mainly because statistically I think it is VERY slim that both wildcards come from the same division. So if the Jets clinch a spot it really puts the Bills behind the 8 ball. Since you're a Pat fan, imagine the drama of a 3rd Bills Pat game...that would be something to see! Of course, all this playoff talk is for naught if the Bills don't win on Sunday.
  20. I'm hoping that the Jets drop one to either St.Louis or Seattle (hopefully both, however unlikely that may be) making the matchup with you guys key.... Hey, a man can dream can't he?
  21. I was a big fan of Shaud in training camp and thought he could be a great ST player. After watching him in action today (in person) I just think he is WAY too small to be anything more than a 3rd down back. If the Bills are going to rely on him as their No.2, that would be a big mistake in my opinion. He is good No.3...one who you wouldn't turn to if Willis went down for an extended period of time.
  22. Can't argue with that. The Bills have work to do. I'm just hoping the Pats continue to help the Bills out
  23. I just have a feeling, call it a hunch, that if the Bills finish 10-6 they will make the playoffs. For that reason, I am trying hard not to pay attention to the other games. The scenarios will drive you crazy. Besides, if the Bills do go 10-6 and don't make the playoffs, they will be in GREAT shape in terms of momentum for '05.
  24. I am just excited because the Bills haven't played such an important game in over 3 years. There is absolutely no way anyone on the Bills team is taking Cincy lightly. At 7-6 it simply isn't possible for the Bills to take anyone lightly. While I believe Cincy is a good team, and I feel they will pose a very serious challenge to the Bills, I have a feeling that the Bills are going to come up big. I'm not saying they are going to blow out Cincy, just that they will find a way to win this one. If the Bills can get up on the Bengals early, you could see heads start to drop on the Bengal sideline. At the very least, it will be an exciting buildup to this monster game!
  25. The Patriots Insider website thinks the Bills are still going to make it. The writer predicted all the games correctly this week, and was dead on last week (except for Baltimore losing which helped the Bills). For week 15 he has the following: Jets losing to Seattle (possible now if Seatle gained some big Mo and NYJ lost some) 'Doncos losing to the Chiefs (very possible since it's in KC) Ravens losing to the Colts (def) Jags losing in GB (very possible with GB at home) If this came to pass exactly as described above (As well as his following weeks predictions), the teams would finish with these records: Team Record Bills: 10-6 Ravens: 9-7 Jets: 9-7 Jaguars: 9-7 Broncos: 8-8 Obviously next week is HUGE for the Bills.
