  1. It would be interesting to see how many people stay in the stadium to celebrate if the Jets game goes longer than the Bills/Steelers.
  2. I'm crazy, but I think if the Bills do get in, they are the team to beat in the AFC. They are just playing so well in all phases of the game. Better than anyone else in the league from top to bottom. That being said, they have to make it in first. I have no doubt they will beat the Steelers...I just hope the Jets or the Doncos come through with a poor showing on Sunday.
  3. But, to be fair, he deserves to win ROY. His team is 14-1.
  4. Alright Manning!!!!! On MNF he just said he wants to play the whole game and win since the last time he was in that situation they went up to Buffalo (with nothing to play for) and got beat and lost their mo'
  5. Yes, the rams need to win out to make it in.
  6. I've got the game online (not watching) it says McNabb is playing...is he?
  7. Yeah, it's on ESPN News from 1 to 4pm on Mondays. They cover pretty much every team's press conferences and talk about the upcoming games. They spent a lot of time on the Denver/Indy game (It's Ditka, another former player and one of the ESPN Anchors...can't remember their names) and they all felt Dungy was being sincere. Of course it still could be lip service. I just hope it's not.
  8. I don't get all this negativity about Posey. The guy is a great role player. He is ALWAYS making plays that don't show up on the stat sheets (shedding blockers, forcing runs inside for Fletcher to clean it up, applying pressure on the QB). With the cap the way it is, we cannot afford to have 3 TKOs in our LB corps and Posey is as good as we are going to get at OLB without sacrificing other areas of the team. I don't think you guys are seeing what I see when I watch him play I guess.
  9. Dungy talked about that as well on MNQB. He said how he'd only been in this situation once before and felt it was a mistake because the team was flat the next week. So it may very well be lip service, or he may have learned his lesson.
  10. On MMQB Dungy said he wants to show his team that they can win outdoors as well and won't pass up an opportunity to get a W in a hostile environment like Denver. Especially since they will have to go Pittsburgh and/or NE if they want to win a ring.
  11. Great stuff! lol
  12. Um, wasn't the last Bills home playoff game blacked out (vs Jacksonville) because we Bills fans couldn't motivate to go? It was also Kelly's last game. We shouldn't pick on Jacksonville too much. After all they just did the Bills a huge favor.
  13. That was my whole point. Well said.
  14. Look at picture of Bonds when he first came into the league and then look at one now. Having seen both men in person, yes they are abnormally large, which isn't all that surprising since they are pro athletes, but considering how big they got over their careers, there was never any doubt.
  15. I was refering to ESPN and Newspaper guys. They are infact journalists...or are supposed to be. I don't know about NFL.com. I wouldn't consider them journalists since they usually just toe the company line.
  16. Because he had long time health condition that was well known amungst players in the NFL and journalists. It wasn't thought to be fatal until now. The NFL tests for roids and Reggie never tested positive. Not once. He wasn't abnormally large or jacked or had any sort of physical characteristic to imply he used roids ever. It's not journalists job to make up stories on assumptions. It's their job to report the facts.
  17. Why would anyone raise it if there isn't even one tiny piece of evidence that would suggest steroids played a role? Raising this issue is ridiculous when there is no evidence to support it other than: "Gee, he was a professional athelete so he must have taken roids". A journalist would get laughed off the stage for that kind of logic
  18. No. It was congentital heart failure caused by a breathing disorder he had for his entire life... (according to Monday Morning QB this afternoon at least.)
  19. Yes, you are right.
  20. It doesn't matter. If the Bills get in, they will beat whoever they face in the WC round. Of that I have no doubt.
  21. Yes, but they played badly down the stretch and didn't really deserve to get in. This year the Bills are HOT down the stretch and are just dominating teams. They deserve it more at 10-6 than the Fins did last year. If fate is at all just, the cards will fall right for the Bills come Sunday.
  22. Your sig played a role too! Now change that sh-- to "Go Rams" or "Go Colts" and let the magic work again!
  23. Possible Silver Linings: Indy @ Den: 1) Manning wants to shatter the record, thus he will be a mad man for the time he plays (maybe only a half or quarter) and can very possibly shred a weak Denver Defense. 2) Jake Plummer in big games is not gauranteed... 3) I believe in miracles! Jets @ St. Louis: 1) The Rams are a different team in the dome. 2) Martz is coaching for his job 3) The Rams (if they win tomorrow) will be fighting for their playoff lives as well 4) Pennington has been awful lately.
