  1. You're joking right? How can you throw a ball to the 5 when you need 10 when there are are two people ON moulds? Please. Bennie sucks, yes. His penalty was dumb, yes. But Holcombe has no balls, not guts. And worse, he doesn't seem to have an understanding of where the sticks are on 3rd down.
  2. Agreed. He's terrible.
  3. 3rd and goal on the 10 and holcombe throws it to Moulds....on the 5 with two guys on him. This guy has NO guts. Can we leave him in Cincy?
  4. Wr screen and holcombe threw it over Parish's head (terrible throw), but it was a lateral....so it counts as a fumble.
  5. Not scoring wasn't the real sin. The real sin was kicking a fg rather than going for it.
  6. A flea flicker...for 13 yards? Flippin' Sweet.
  7. One of the worst redzone defenses in the league and the Bills can't score from the 2. Flippin' sweet.
  8. He has a long ball, just can't put anything on it for strikes across the middle of the field. There's a difference between a lofted fade route (which was a great ball) and a 15 yard slant across the middle. It was a pretty ball but a better route by Lee.
  9. Um...if JP can be the number 2, why the hell isn't he playing? What a joke.
  10. A movie nerd fact...Andy Serkis who played Gollum and Kong (he is also the chef in Kong) was in every scene with Watts acting out Kong's motions. I heard they had him up on a crane and he "aped" out all the movements and reactions for what became the CGI Kong in the finished film. It's still a credit to Watts to pull off her performance, but Serkis's presence (and Jackson's inventiveness) certainly had to help. Makes it easier than if she were just staring at a green screen.
  11. Better. I watched the original on Tuesday night, then saw Jackson's version on Wed. The '33 version is great for what it was, but Jackson takes it to a level the orginial directors would have LOVED. There are remnants of dialogue, scenes and allusions to the orginial film as well. Jackson did his favorite film proud.
  12. Understandable. I'm the same way. But we might as well look for other candidates. Then again, I'm no more in the loop than you are, so who really knows.
  13. Here's what it was. Since he left Miami, every team in trouble has at one time or another talked to or about hiring JJ to come on and save them. Houston, the Browns and Niners to name a few I remember. And each time JJ said no. And each time the guys on Fox busted his balls about it on air. And now it is pretty well known that Buffalo is going to be looking for a GM and a coach (hopefully) in the very near future. So it's our turn to hear about JJ coming out of retirement to save us. There is nothing deeper to it than that.
  14. I don't think it would be a bad move. The guy knows how to build winning teams. He has real experience. But he and Ralph don't get along. His price tag is out of the Bills' league. Thus, he will not be coming to Buffalo. He's not even a legitimate or realistic option.
  15. But JJ is not going to be hired....he is not going to apply for the job....so what's the point of arguing about whether or not people will remain Bills fans?
  16. Aside from the Super Bowl ass kickings and the Flutie Flakes fiasco at the Ralph, nope...I got none. TD has more control than any other GM in franchise history, but not total control.
  17. Just my opinion but: 1) No way Ralph wants Johnson. Too high of a pricetag and the two never exactly got along during JJ's days in Dallas and Miami. 2) No way Johnson wants Buffalo. He won't have total control (not with Wilson around), and he won't get the money he would from other franchises.
  18. Did they really? What was said? I still think there is zero chance JJ comes to Buffalo, but I guess stranger things have happened.
  19. Regardless of the final score, if JP continues to show progress, I will consider tomorrow a big W. Go Bills!
  20. Why does everyone assume Sam Wyche is going to stay if MM is canned? There is some loyalty there between the two. I wouldn't be surprised if Wyche quits if MM is canned.
  21. Sad part is I thought that was real for much longer than I should have.
  22. I got to see a screening of Narnia this morning. I came away greatly dissappointed. I can't help but wonder if Walden and Disney had hired a different director, it would have been better. Adamson's blending of live action with CGI animals came off kind of wonky. It never made up its mind if it wanted to be a straight children's story, or a darker take on the material (which, is actually quite dark material to begin with). The CGI animals did not look right to me. Mind you, it's just my opinion. The audience was generally pleased with the film. But it also was a production screening (lots of family of people involved in the production).
