As much as I hate praising any Dolphin player, Chambers might be the most underrated WR in the league. He's just had a terrible run of it in Miami with the revolving door at QB. His numbers have suffered (similiar to Moulds in his prime) because of this. Only thing is, on pure athletic talent alone, Chambers is better than Moulds was. Put him on a team with a good QB (or at least a consistant one) and he'd be mentioned along with the other top WRs of the league.

OL talent may be slim in 2007 draft
CosmicBills replied to obie_wan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As long as the Bills get the best available player in round 1, I'm happy. Even if it's not OL/DL. In my fantasy world, I am still hoping for Calvin Johnson -- but no way that will happen. Long from UofM would be a nice addition in the first, same with Buster Davis. I have no clue about the DL coming out this year though. -
Enough Losman.... Although he is on Rome Thursday

Hopefully Rivers will blow off the interview ...or not. -

So, what does it mean in terms of Karma when JP AND Rivers are on the same show? Who gets the good Karma? -
Excellent...thanks for that!

I don't totally agree with that. If anything, Lucas is admired for his business savy (Fox giving him the merchandizing rights to Star Wars is still one of the biggest bungles in studio history) but discredited for his "filmmaking". I don't hear many filmmakers wishing to emulate him. In fact, it's usually the opposite. The anti-Hollywood crowd likes to slam him for his poor writing and use of Digital over Film. I don't think he gets enough credit from the "artistic" filmmakers for his ingenuity, creativity and boldness. Though, I still wish he didn't direct Episodes II and III. I kinda wish he stepped back like he did with Eps V and VI. Still, I can never do anything but praise the man who gave us Star Wars AND Indiana Jones. The later being some of my favorite films of all time. That being said, I prefer the Anakin/Obie Wan fight at the end of Sith. To me, that had more weight than any other fight/duel in the series. More so even than when Vadar finally fulfilled the prophecy and destroyed the Sith (Luke couldn't do it, neither could Yoda. Only Anakin could...love that).

Having had a chance to speak with AJ on a couple of occasions, I can say AJ is not a Jerk. In fact, quite the opposite.

Why do people still support Jp?
CosmicBills replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. Wow. Loved how he edited his post from "??? not really. I've stood firm on my opinions for a long time." to "?????". Sums it up. Don't get me wrong, I think you're generally a nice guy, but if you want people to take you seriously, stop pandering and grow a backbone. -

You're not ridiculed for disliking JP. You're ridiculed for changing your mind every other day/post/topic. -

Looks like you've got more post-editing to do. 834511[/snapback] I have never seen someone edit/re-edit their posts more than this guy. It's hilarious. I've come to the conclusion that he doesn't have real opinions. He just goes with what the majority thinks. A lemming. But at least LSI uses neat-o smilies for every topic he posts. .... -
That's just flat out wrong. The talent level in college jumps drastically depending on your conference. The lesser schools in the Major Conferences still have more all around talent than the lesser schools in the Mid Majors. It's just how the game goes. The Big 10, SEC, ACC have far more all around talent than Conference USA. A QB from one of the major conferences faces far more talented Defenses (on average) than one from C-USA. A four year starter from the SEC/Big 10/Pac 10 etc will have faced far better teams over the length of their career than a four year starter from a mid major. Does that make for a better NFL QB? No. But it certainly makes for a more polished prospect.

I'm not saying I agree with the Losman/Manning comparison...but since I like to play Devil's Advocate (and not the pinball game).... You're right, BlueFire. Manning had MORE than 3 years to study an NFL offense. His lineage alone provided more experience than JP ever had. Plus, he played for UT and was a much more polished product coming out. Pretty much every scouting report on JP coming out of college described him as "raw". That term was never used to describe Manning.

This is an impossible question to answer. The type of underwear that looks best is entirely dependant upon the woman who's wearing them. Sometimes, Millbank's preference is the correct choice. Others, it's the thong. That being said, I like 'em best when they're off...but I'm more of a hands on type of guy I guess.

Until Peyton gets the ring, he'll always be the second best QB in the league. Sorry, it's about winning. Not numbers. Give me Brady over Manning any day.

Still not ready to jump back on board the Jp

Your record has been quite clear on this matter since the pre-season. -

Did you even watch that play? He got lit up as he threw it, meaning he had no follow through on the throw. It wasn't an underthrown ball, it was a play he made by hanging in there, taking a hit and still being accurate DESPITE the hit. -
So Universal payed 23.5 million just for the rights? That just can't be, can it? Is there a link? I can't find one at my normal spots.
-
43.5 million for the rights? That can't be right. That has to be the budget for the production.

So they could make room for the new hot blonde and brazillian guy from the front half of the plane. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0760989/ http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0763928/

What's brown and sticky? A stick -
Met her out and about (not a first meeting) and one thing leads to another. She sends me a text when she left the bar and said if I could figure out what that meant within an hour, she would come over... She didn't know that I had the French Connection on TSW. (okay, terrible pun, but whatever).
-
Thankfully she was better at that than French, apparently.
-
Update: Thank you to all. The mission was a success...she wasn't a stalker, just bad at French apparently. She meant to say "I want you"...but I got an A for effort and things went smoothly. I even made it in time for my flight to the game...though I am now wishing I stayed home.
