  1. Gresham will be the far superior NFL TE to Coffman. He's more gifted athletically, has great hands and will fit the pro-style attack better than Coffman. That said, I don't think the Bills should use the 11th pick on him -- but if they did I wouldn't be crying (too loudly).
  2. I love Gresham and think he's head and shoulders the best TE coming out in the draft (yes, better than Coffman as far as talent translating to the NFL). I feel he would be a huge upgrade at the position the likes of which Buffalo hasn't seen in over a decade. That said ... DE or Center (I don't care that it's early for a Center) need to be the pick here. However, if the Bills go for Gresham here, I would be upset ... but not that upset.
  3. ... And then with the 10th pick in the draft Rich takes a CB. (just to watch Bill's head explode -- you know it would be worth it.)
  4. That free speech is hilarious.
  5. This is one of the more ignorant posts I've read in the history of this board. And that's saying a lot. To think Ralph doesn't care about winning is insane. If he didn't care about winning he wouldn't be IN the draft room. If he didn't care about winning he wouldn't spend half his time flying to games, rather he'd sit in his comfy Detroit home. If he didn't care about winning he would be as hands off as possible and focus only on the bottom line. If he only cared about money he would have moved from Buffalo 30 years ago. There is not one shred of evidence that supports the notion that Ralph values money over winning. Not the Cash to Cap policy. Not the the decision to fire Polian. Not the decision to retain Jauron. The fact is Ralph, like all successful human beings, is a highly competitive and egotistical man. He has been successful at everything he's ever done. That leads to arrogance and blindness (which is Kelly's point). He IS trying to win. He just thinks he knows best because in every facet of his life he has always known best.
  6. Actually they wouldn't have to pay him. When you tag and trade a player you don't trade the Franchise contract. You lift the tag prior to the trade and allow them to sign whatever deal they worked out. A Franchise tag does not immediately set in stone a top contract. It's flexible and reversible right up to the start of the season.
  7. Bulllshit. Being a good coach from Monday to Saturday is meaningless if you can't manage the game come Sunday. And Dick has proven time and time again that he cannot manage games. From time out usages, to play calling, to replay challenges to motivating his players on the field. I could care less if he's a screamer or a silent leader. But a coach has to be able to do his job when it matters most: ON SUNDAYS.
  8. Jauron is a quality human being. A great guy and any community would be glad to call him a member. However, he is not a quality head coach in the NFL. He can't manage games well, he makes poor decisions and fails to get the most out of his players' talent on a regular basis. He's had multiple chances to prove this incorrect in multiple cities, including 3 seasons in Buffalo, but he has yet to do so. Those people who attack Dick's character are either joking, venting steam, ignorant or drunk (in some cases all of 'em). However even though Dick comes from your home town and he's a great human being, fans have the right to complain about his shortcomings as a Head Coach.
  9. And it was a 4-3 defense ... not a 3-4.
  10. They won't franchise Cassel. It would be way too risky. If they did, every team would just wait it out because the Pats would KILL their cap having to commit over 30+ Million in QB position alone. They would have to cut Cassel in camp most likely and then teams could bid on him without the fear of losing a pick. The Pats might THREATEN to tag him, but they won't ever actually do it and I doubt any NFL GM would fall for the bait.
  11. The fact is Jauron does not manage games well at all. Period. Proof again came today when the Denver WR bobbled the pass on the sideline in the 4th quarter, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BILLS BENCH -- every player said he bobbled it. The F'ing WR said he bobbled it and was signaling to hurry the play. And Juaron stood there WAITING FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO TELL HIM WHAT TO DO. F' That. Throw the red flag. It's a little thing. But he missed it. And he does lots of those little things very poorly.
  12. I can't imagine Sammy or Carl will take this for long.
  13. You mean Tennessee?
  14. And my sister thanks you for finally releasing her from her cell.
  15. The chick in the background of that pic is HOT!
  16. That's not just a big thing, it's a huge thing. Imagine Buffalo without the Bills. The Sabres would have left (I doubt Tom would have bought them out a few years ago if the Bills hadn't been around) most likely and all of Western NY would have suffered. As much as I think Ralph's puppeteering is an issue that is holding this team back, we wouldn't have a team if not for him and Western NY would be a much, much more dire place. So even though that may be the only thing he's done, it has to count for 10 to 20 things. Just my two cents.
  17. This is the single smartest comentary on men and women's ability (or lack there of) to have plotonic friends. Seriously. EDIT: Language -- might not be safe for work. But it's hilarious!
  18. Whoa, whoa, whoa. The Gub-anor was NOT a "B actor". He showed tremendous depth and range in the male pregnancy classic Junior.
  19. Well it really COULD be over in a couple days ... in a mushroom cloud sorta way. That's the problem. That said, I think you're underestimating Obama's abilities on the foreign affairs front.
  20. You already stopped being a fan and pledged your new found love for the Titans. So go there already and stop posting here.
  21. True -- but when republicans pay for sex it's usually occurs in the bathroom stall of the mens' room.
  22. ... and saying democrats are more violent than republicans was so mature.
  23. Evil always finds a way -- especially when it has access to a large bankroll. I also hear drinking baby's blood helps enhance the powers, at least that's what Rove said once.
